We came to D.P. Dough on Saturday night around 11pm and we thought it would be packed but we were able to walk right up and order! I got the Italian zone and it took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive to us. The wait staff was super patient and the food was piping hot when it arrived! The calzone is absolutely massive!!! This is such a clutch place that is open so late. Half a calzone is definitely plenty! They pack them full with cheese and all the yummy ingredients and the dough is was delicious and soft! My only complaint is the marinara sauce that came with it was mid. Not the best I've had and I think ranch or something would have been way better. We were in Athens on a Friday night and needed some late night food. This is a college spot for sure and fit the bill. I noticed all of their other locations are near college campuses. They only have calzones, no pizzas, and there are tons of pre-concocted options, or you can build your own. We ordered online (the interface could be a little better) and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up about 25 minutes later and it was just coming out of the oven. This was perfect since it would be fresh. There is some street parking and it is downtown, but not right in the middle of everything so I was able to find a spot easily. There are a few tables in their small interior. I got the Maui Wowi, which is basically the ingredients on a Hawaiian pizza. It was great! We used the bathroom (which you have to request a code for entry to use) and it had no paper towels or hand soap. I have always loved this place so much. The food is always amazing and so is the service! But recently if you try to go past 2 am they say there done serving food because they need to clean up but the website says they close at 4 am, but they lady working also said 3 o'clock they close. My friends and I went in no later then 2 am and the lady working was being overly rude to us the second we walked in (we were not being loud or anything.) saying they are closed and can't make food anymore. My wife and I went here Saturday night after a long trip. We were greeted and gave our order, we went to sit down to wait for our food and that's when it all went down hill. After about fourty minutes, a young lady behind the counter asked if we were waiting for something. We told her we were waiting on our order, and she had a confused look on her face. She poked around on a tablet, and looked in a food storage area when she finally told us "oh... your order never went through that's why it didn't get made...". And that was it.. she sat there looking at us with no attempt to fix the issue. My wife said "let's just go" and that is what it took to finally get the woman to say "well we can make it or I can give you your money back". I told her to just give me my money back please... after clicking around on her tablet some more, she determined I was never charged and dismissed me. I then checked my bank statement and showed her I had in fact been charged. Another confused look was given when a gentleman came over and refunded our money.
