I drive pass this place plenty of times and finally went in for breakfast. I'm so glad that I did. Sandy was our hostess with the mostest and she made great recommendations. This place won me over with the complimentary donuts that just melt in your mouth. My friend ordered the steak and potatoes and I had the chicken chipotle sandwich. When it came to flavor this place did not disappoint the steak was cooked with perfection and love it was seasoned well and tender. The sandwich was more than enough and delicious!!

Everything was delicious! Our server Sandy was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I opted for the cucumber and lime Agua Fresca with steak and eggs 10/10 no notes!

This place is good. We came in and our server jokingly said "we closed the restaurant for you" because the restaurant was empty. We ordered a birria taco dinner and a tilapia taco dinner. To drink we got freshly made watermelon water, which was delicious. After we ordered, a table of four came in. They brought us a donut as an appetizer on the house. It was so good! Our food took quite a bit to come out. It even came out after the table of four. Despite the food taking a while to come out, the food was amazing. The birria tacos were so flavorful and the side of rice was just as good. The tilapia tacos were good too. We had originally gone in to get a black bean burger but they discontinued it.

This was my first time at this location. This location serves alcohol, so I had a mimosa. It was good but also around $18... if I remember correctly. The panini was delicious!

Ribeye Steak

We came all the way from Vegas to try this place again. The food, atmosphere, and service were all spectacular! We've had great steaks back home, but the ribeye here is outstanding. We look forward to coming here again on our next trip (:

Love this place! The food is always good. The customer service is great. My favorite thing about this place is the sugar donut they put on your table when you first sit down.

D'Nuez has to be the BEST hidden gem in all of Chicago! During a recent visit to the city, I stumbled upon D'Nuez and will forever make this my go-to spot when in town! The food!!... The Coffee!!... The atmosphere and the team - - A WHOLE VIBE!!! Eduardo y Bianca were AMAZING and made sure we felt at home and like family. Forever grateful for these two and the experience they provided..!! True MVP's for real...!! GO SEE THEM.. You will never regret it..!! Salud! Jovi & Debbie from Austin, Texas

One of mine and my fiancés go to spots for wings (: but all of their food is delicious and great to share family style with their big portions. The staff is friendly just wish they were a bit more attentive with our drinks. The energy is relaxing and recently updated from renovations. When I visit again I'll upload more photos. Enjoy everyone!

This place is a must try if you are in the area! The menu has so many options and they all sound delicious. I can say that the cafe de olla is delicious and authentic. The food is all very tasty and portions are big. We shared a few different dishes and everything we tried was a 5 out of 5 on flavor and presenation. Check out D'Nuez for some unique and authentic Mexican flavors.

First time coming to this location and will plan on coming back. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated. The waitress was very accommodating, wish i would have caught her name. One of our orders had an ingredient we specifically asked not to put but she was so understanding and gave us a new plate. Presentation was lovely, staff and atmosphere was welcoming.

We were really happy with the food and service. We were at The National Museum of Mexican Art this was a quick walk to grab food. We thought the portions were good and our food was too. I got the American Omelette with fruit. I was full. Husband got a burger and waffle fries. He was happy and full. Only complaint would be the Jamaica ( hibiscus tea ). One glass was $6.50 and it isn't ever brewed there. It was from the soda fountain.

I'm new to the area and still exploring the many places around so this one was the next on the list. I wish I could have seen the reviews before entering. I agree with many of the reviews. The prices are way too expensive for food not worth it. I get that the pandemic and inflation has caused prices to spike up but nearly $18 bucks for a sandwich is wild to me. The service was also not phenomenal. I entered and not one of the three folks behind the counter say hi, look at me, nor is there a sign that says to seat myself or to wait for seating. It wasn't until I said something that they told me to seat wherever I'd like. Overall, not planning on coming back.

Mexican burger

Not only the food but the sevice is a 100/10. María Julia took care of us on our first visit and we're in love! She did a great job guiding us thru the menu and never ending options. Definitely recommend

We walked in around 9 on a Saturday morning and were sat pretty quickly. Love the old skool diner vibes inside. We sat at the counter and met Cortland, this man seems like a legend. He is so helpful, friendly, and real. My husband ordered the dove's deluxe and Cortland recommended the multigrain toast over Texas toast since I already ordered the Texas toast. What an excellent rec, that multigrain is very very good, I'll most likely be getting that every time. He also explained all the sauces in the little sauce basket to us and I'm so glad he did bc every single sauce is inventive and delicious. I got the brisket hash, those crispy potatoes are somethin special. I also had the horchata cold brew, he had regular coffee, they serve awesome coffee. Which left some tables open for dining. If we would have realized this before getting seated, I probably would've left. I wish the restaurant would have closed for the events or made us aware. It was very loud! We could not talk or hear each other at all. The food is good! We love the pineapple pork tacos & the bang bang shrimp tacos. I do wish the shrimp tacos had more of a slaw or something on them. The guacamole is really good & the chips are the perfect thickness & saltiness. I've had the elotes dip twice. Both times, not a lot of flavor. No drinks because we wanted to get out asap so we could enjoy our company & conversation. The bathroom situation is fantastic. Several private bathrooms down the hallway. Clean & spacious. Service was just ok, mostly because it was so loud & busy that our server couldn't communicate with us. Next time, I'll make sure it's not booked with a party.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed happy hour. Our drinks were delicious. I got the spicy Margarita and it was delicious. For appetizers we tried the HH Guacamole and the Brussels Sprouts. We enjoyed the Brussels Sprout but were not a fan of the Guacamole. I think in Mexico they would call this Gringo Guacamole. My husband compared the guacamole to massed produced stuff at Costco. This place is so nice and I will be coming back to enjoy that patio during the summer. This establishment is in the heart of West Town with plenty of parking nearby. Suggest checking their social media page because my understanding is that they have dancing on Taco Tuesday.
