In operation for 70 years they have tons of new old stock items and hard or impossible to find older plumbing, hardware, and household items. The store is really part museum with photographs of the owner decades ago with the likes of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, etc., as well as wonderful old store fixtures. But this is still clearly a neighborhood anchor. When we were there recently people came in to have keys cut, for a large cast iron frying pan, and other everyday items. You will not find the selection of a larger store, but no hardware store aficionado should be within 20 miles of Pine Avenue Hardware without stopping by.

It should never have been on the shelf. With a 10 year guarantee for the battery I tried to return it and as they no longer sell it. I am out of luck. They will not swap one and they will not refund me. I will no longer shop at that store or any other home depot.

It would have to be reordered. Was told it would be in around March 25th. March 25th, I went to the store found it still wasn't in. I asked for refund. I was told no refund until it arrived at the store?! I asked for a manager because I couldn't believe that a national chain would charge me (credit card was billed the 12th) for something they couldn't supply, then refuse a refund. Guess what? The manager said the same thing! I eventually called their 800 number and Miguel was able to cancel the order for me. Are the staff at Home Depot stupid? Incompetent? Both? I don't know, but I won't ever go back.

During a recent home project I found myself there 5 times in one day. Each time I found my item quickly or was politely assisted in finding what I needed. I like their rewards program. I regularly get coupons towards purchases based on my previous purchases. They are convenient and friendly. They've saved me countless trips to the big box stores that are miles away.

I saw this location while vacationing in Niagara Falls and stopped in for the occasional thing I needed (and to use one of the thousands of FREE gift coupons). Staff here were friendly and in general, the store was well stocked, organized and clean. I cannot comment much upon the quality of the products that they sell. I can say that in general, if you aren't spending much on something, the quality you expect out of it shouldn't be that great and should last for not too long of a period of time. Regardless, everything I have boughten here (and I have actually bought tools before) has worked well for my uses. I'm not all that much of a hardware kind of guy; however, I enjoy shopping here and highly suggest this newer location. I hadn't been to an Ollie's since I was in Nashville nearly two summers ago. This store has plenty of parking. I had no problem pulling into a spot fairly close to the entrance and walking in. You can score some cool deals here. It depends on what you are looking for and need. I was here before Easter. There was some good deals on candy and chocolate. I'm sure that it would have been even cheaper after the holiday. I spent a lot of time in the housewares sections. Reusable straws. Frying pans. Tongs. Silicone cookie cutters. Pretty much everything was there. The quality is decent for what you are paying for. I liked some of the quirky items like Yummy Can Bacon where you can cook bacon strips in your microwave. I also liked an LED soap dispenser to make washing your hands more enjoyable. You can save a lot on food. Cereal was cheap with brands like General Mills. I saw a lot of canned items, such as soup and peas. There was a spill in an aisle. A female staffer was sweeping a powdered detergent mess. It did smell nice as I walked by it. Staff are everywhere, but they left shoppers alone. Nice! The book section was cool. Phone accessories were next to it. It was cool seeing wireless chargers and phone mounts for your car. I will always have a soft spot for steering wheel covers at Ollie's. I got one at an Ollie's in Nashville and still use it. It was nice seeing a variety of them at this store. If you are on a budget and like deals on pretty much everything under the sun, you want to come here. It's best to sign up for a free Ollie's Army account.
