I passed by this Ollie's while I was trying to find a bite to eat on a Sunday. I flagged dropping by this store. I dropped by on a Tuesday before heading home. I hadn't been to an Ollie's since I was in Nashville nearly two summers ago. This store has plenty of parking. I had no problem pulling into a spot fairly close to the entrance and walking in. You can score some cool deals here. It depends on what you are looking for and need. I was here before Easter. There was some good deals on candy and chocolate. I'm sure that it would have been even cheaper after the holiday. I spent a lot of time in the housewares sections. Reusable straws. Frying pans. Tongs. Silicone cookie cutters. Pretty much everything was there. The quality is decent for what you are paying for. I liked some of the quirky items like Yummy Can Bacon where you can cook bacon strips in your microwave. I also liked an LED soap dispenser to make washing your hands more enjoyable. You can save a lot on food. Cereal was cheap with brands like General Mills. I saw a lot of canned items, such as soup and peas. There was a spill in an aisle. A female staffer was sweeping a powdered detergent mess. It did smell nice as I walked by it. Staff are everywhere, but they left shoppers alone. Nice! The book section was cool. Phone accessories were next to it. It was cool seeing wireless chargers and phone mounts for your car. I will always have a soft spot for steering wheel covers at Ollie's. I got one at an Ollie's in Nashville and still use it. It was nice seeing a variety of them at this store. If you are on a budget and like deals on pretty much everything under the sun, you want to come here. It's best to sign up for a free Ollie's Army account. You can get digital coupons and save a bit more. I enjoyed shopping here. I got my fix before I headed home. I hope to drop by again when I'm in the area. (156) read more

Helpful service and checkout was smooth! I could have spent all day but almost $100 spent but value was closet to $300. Selections vary but I always say "buy it if you see it as it is not always going to be there/one offs!! ". Good for food, snacks, books , crosswords and baking pans! The slogan is "good stuff cheap," which is true, to an extent. We have found some surprise goodies at most Ollie's we go to, and this one was no exception, with cereal and snacks making it past inspection. Sure, the inspection is lenient, considering they're soon to pass their best buy dates, but I'm not a stickler for that sort of thing, especially when the prices are this affordable. I never really venture out to this particular location, partially due to the fact that I rarely frequent the Falls. It is however also due to the fact that the staff leave a lot to be desired. While we were perusing, we heard a very loud and very obvious crash of broken glass. The customer immediately reported it to an employee and yet it took almost ten minutes for someone to attend to it. Multiple customers were wearing open toed shoes, risking injury. When we arrived at the register, the cashier was crotchety, deliberately breaking my coin change down despite having an entire cup of quarters. Not sure what was knotting her knickers, but I refuse to get mine twisted when in the end I'm still getting a deal. Good stuff cheap sure but not good people. read more

Although it's a very messy, disorganized store I enjoy browsing here. I always find something cheap and interesting. I especially like the books. Good graphic novel selections and prices. The spices are also a good deal. The parking lot isn't super busy like some other places since it's at the end of a plaza not near the exit. It always takes forever to check out but the workers are pleasant....just slow. read more

I love cheap stuff that is good. So Ollie's is my jam. The store is a big, open Kmart-esque space packed with aisles of deal after deal. There is a wide range of good cheap stuff: housewares, towels, lawn/garden/patio items, small appliances, rugs, bedding, furniture, outdoor and automotive goods, hardware and paint, books, office supplies, party supplies, pet supplies, personal care, storage, etc., etc., etc., and then some. Last time I was in I rounded up a nice quality LED lantern for camping for $4.99, some kitchen items for the camper too, and my husband grabbed a set of hub caps to replace his mismatched ones. The kinds of things you'll find at Ollie's stays somewhat consistent, but the specific stock itself of those things will vary every time you stop in. My only minor gripe is the store isn't the cleanest, but it's a junk store, and is about as clean as you'd expect, I suppose. I enjoy a good treasure hunt at Ollie's, and always come out with some good stuff. Cheap. So IMHO they live up to their word. :-D read more

Ollie's is a good store that deals in manufacturers closeouts, remanufactured goods along with others items that you typically find in a discount store. They have a large book section so if you are looking for a do it yourself book or even a large table book you cannot beat the prices here. I also discovered Ollie's when I was living in Baltimore and was glad when they opened stores up in Western NY. I like there selections of oriental rugs and have bought a few of them from there over the years with no complaints. Overall I like this store and buying something that has been remanufactured is an excellent bargain and they do come with warranties. One can take a hint with their motto "Good Stuff Cheap" and you would be surprised on the savings you will have. read more

Ollie's has a great selection of just about everything you'd find at a department store--but much, much less expensive. Particularly impressive is the HUGE section of closeout books; everything is pretty well organized and the selection is great. You'll find NY Times best-sellers, cookbooks, children's books, all sorts of non-fiction books and much more. We also make regular use of the hardware and home decorating sections. Tools, painting supplies (including paint in basic colors), carpet, and yard supplies (seasonally) are in good supply--and at prices that blow Home Depot out of the water. If you're in the market for a large, inexpensive area rug, this is the place to go. The housewares section is also very useful. Small electric appliances (coffee makers, blenders, food processors, rice steamers, etc.) are available from all the major manufacturers, along with hand tools, serving ware, pots and pans, bakeware, cutting boards, etc. I almost always by my dishwasher detergent "pods" here; same Cascade product I used to get a Wegmans, but 30% less! Finally, I always make a point to walk through the food section. Wheat Thins, Muir Glen organic tomatoes, sea salt, panko--there are a number of things I regularly find here at great prices. read more

Ollie's is a welcome addition to Niagara Falls. I hope they stick around! I first learned of Ollie's when I lived in Baltimore. I received the flyers in the mail all the time, but never bothered going. When a store appeared within walking distance of my parents' home, I had to check it out on a recent visit back to the Falls. The concept of the store is pretty simple and falls in line with their advertising motto: "Good Stuff Cheap!!"(Trademarked, Copyrighted, All Rights Reserved, etc.) ;) They sell overstock, discontinued or liquidated items of all varieties. You'll see very familiar name brands and some that make you go, "Who dat?" By way of example, on a recent visit, I picked up a bag of Synder's of Hanover honey wheat pretzel sticks for $1.29. Regular retail = $2.59. And it's not like they're going to expire any time soon (expiration date is three months from now). Oh, and I got a great deal on a bag of Lindt's truffles! Chocolate-pretzel mouthgasm, here I come! Their book section is pretty awesome to browse. You never know what you'll find. Actually, the whole store is like that. In addition to food and books, they carry all kinds of housewares, toys, outdoor stuff, some office and craft supplies, rugs... you get the picture. Their ads are a hoot, and made mildly disturbing by their store mascot, Ollie -- a smiling doofus of a man with wide jowls and an overbite who vaguely reminds me of Alfred E. I absolutely NEED Ollie's Bargain Outlet to open in Massachusetts. It's not a want, it's a necessity. It's a five star, clean, convenient (to New York) discount shopping option that has everything in the book. Rugs, furniture, books, hardware, office supplies, toys, gardening stuff, kitchen accessories, pet stuff, electronics and so so so so so so so much more. The store isn't nearly very 'clean'... it's more of an old warehouse kind of place (if you have lived in Massachusetts, similar to Building #19), but with that said, it's organized, fully stocked, and has the best of the best deals. This specific location has extraordinary, friendly employees that actually get to know their customers and are interested in being helpful and not annoying! They have lots of stuff that I haven't seen in other stores in years and just do a great job with their store. I would be very thankful if they opted into opening some stores in Massachusetts, because I seriously love Ollie's. I would definitely come back here if I was vacationing in Niagara Falls again. Be careful of sales etc. went to the Niagara Falls store and the item was supposed to be 12.99 was 17.99. asked about it. manager didn't bother to come out.. told the cashier.. first.. they were different (they were the same item) .. then was told the sale on those was last week.. (told the cashier i saw the email on Friday) then was told it starts next week. ?? If you want to lie to customers.. please pick one and stick with it. ! sad part is i actualy like the store and try to shop there when i can. they reached out and i was willing to listen as everyone messes up... so they wrote to me.. In searching for used and/or discount items to furnish my soon-to-be stateside residence, I came across ads for Ollie's and didn't have very high expectations. But when I stopped in I was pleasantly surprised to find a very full warehouse-type establishment that was easy to navigate and clean! I was shocked to see so many floor covering options and a fantastic book section. Otherwise they had lots of other stuff for kids, the kitchen, bathroom, and all over the home. I came here after hearing many great reviews about the discounts available here. I must say, my 1st visit here was great! I saw so many fantastic deals and specials on popular everyday household items. The store has lots to look at. The isles were well-spaced, which is necessary because there are a good amount of people shopping here on any given day. I was very impressed with the household items available here. I used to love this place. Within the passed year or two they have gone down hill. The store has become quite unorganized and messy. They keep seasonal candy on the shelf way past season for example it's November and they still have Easter candy that's been there since before Easter. I have bought candy and food there and I always check the dates and the dates are current, but it kind of turns me off when I see they are selling Christmas candy in July and Easter candy in November. Some of the stuff they sell is dirty and dusty. The back aisle where the spray paint is is terrible. People have sprayed it all over the floor. They really need to to clean this place up. read more

Wowzers, came for a day trip with my girlfriends and was happy to be introduced to Ollies. We crossed back with a ton of food which we happily purchsed at a nicely discounted price. $2.75 for beef jerky, unheard of. I even scored a digital scale for $12 bucks so I can see how much I gained from this day trip haha. Books galore for cheap, and a ton of other home furnishing and kids toys. read more

Employees have their friends and family hanging around when they work. Very distracting and unprofessional. Asked for assistance from Karen and some guy was following right behind her. Found it to be annoying. When I left she was outside smoking with the guy right by the front door. read more
