There are 3 Home Goods locations in Buffalo and this one is close to our home. This is also connected to TJ maxx as well. There's a line out front but moves fast. 210 shopper limit is allowed inside. Home Goods has a great selection on everything in fair price, but you can find good deals once in a while. While checking in every aisle, I'm so happy I found a tamagoyaki pan that I've been wanting to buy online (so unexpected! And only one left). Same features but price is way more cheaper than online. The only negative thing in this store, is that many shelves and racks are unorganized, merchandise were all scattered, and too narrow aisles with overcrowded stock makes it difficult to get through with a cart. Very very long line at the checkout but moves smoothly. Great place to shop for items you need in your household or a gift for everyone in any occasion.

This Home Goods location was A+ for entry and exit at this time, one way, as well as recognizing the pandemic in various ways such as limitations on the number of people allowed inside at a time. Masks required. It was A+ for employees masked and distanced and the check out area was clearly made pandemic acceptable with sectioned off pay areas. Associates were not very friendly except those sanitizing carts at entry. As far as the feel of the store, it was a chaotic atmosphere, essentially too much stuff and not enough room to move around. Things seemed disorganized and it looked cluttered. It had the feel of a store that is having a going out of business sale. It did not seem to clearly transition from seasonal items to the next season's display. Like oh here's Christmas stuff and then hello, Valentine's Day decor. It was not terribly busy but the store still had that crowded feel to it. The worst part was the check out corral - like cattle herded through point of purchase stuff, possibly not social distanced because people in line are not paying attention. They are gawking at the displays and shelves of unrelated tchotchkes, last seasons things, dog items, face masks that looked like speedos and nail polish in colors no one wanted. The misfit toys aisle. You must look at this mishmash. You're stuck. And stuck in the check out tunnel during Covid-19 is not pandemic-friendly. Think I'll stick to the other Home Goods location.

The store is massive, probably bigger than the parking lot actually. There's a lot of everything. Need a mirror or a clock? There's several aisles of them. Need couch pillows? They're organized by color and there's several aisles of those too. We came for table lamps, and even those are organized by color. Heads up that most of the lamps are sold as "mix and match", meaning the lamp and the shade are sold separately. But I like the flexibility this offers. There's lots of shades to choose from, again organized by color. The prices for the items we looked at seemed fair. The store was very clean and well organized, making shopping a breeze. I highly recommend coming in if you're looking to decorate your home, patio, or garden.

When I got to register the worker was sweeping the counter with a duster and pushed all the fuzz and dust on me. A year ago, I came to this store and bought different glasses and then wrapped them. This time I asked for them to be wrapped and they said they don't do wrappings. This store sells vases, glasses, and large glass home decor. We had to buy a fabric bag, because they didn't have paper. There was a paper bag to the side of the register and I asked the worker if we could use it. She said it was full of broken glass. How fitting. This isn't a complaint necessarily about the service or product but more of a concern for the lack of wrapping for customers who buy expensive fragile items. Luckily, the two glasses didn't break but they were thrown into the fabric bag and were hitting each other. I took one out and kept one in the bag.

I just had an excellent customer service experience. My mom purchased two identical rectangular…read morepillows from Room, both stenciled with the word "Buffalo" and the coordinates of the city (latitude and longitude). She gave one pillow to my dad and the other to me as Christmas gifts. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that the paint used to stencil the letters and numbers on the pillow was water soluble and wiped off with a damp paper towel. It would have been impossible to wash or even spot clean the front of the pillow case without also removing the stenciling. Today, well beyond the 14-day return policy stated on the receipt, my mom and I brought the pillows back to the store to see if there was anything we could do to protect the paint on the front of the pillow case (Scotchgard wasn't going to cut it). As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by an associate. We briefly explained our concern to the associate, and then without even batting an eye or even checking our receipt he apologized, stated that he was unaware of this issue, and immediately offered to exchange the pillows for other merchandise. We ended up selecting different Buffalo-themed pillows. Room offers beautiful contemporary furniture and home decor, and after spending time looking around the store and observing the quality of their merchandise, it's obvious that the faulty pillows were an anomaly and in no way typical of the products sold by Room. My mom and I were both impressed with this customer service experience and appreciate the attention we received.
