I discovered Russell's a few years ago and have been going to get my shearling items cleaned there…read moreever since. I own one shearling coat and a pair of shearling gloves and they have been life savers when we've had bitter winters. The gloves were the only thing allowing me to hold on to my steering wheel when it was below 0 during the winter. The cold went right through non-shearling gloves like it was nothing. I wish I had known about Russell's sooner because I got salt on my coat and gloves and it stayed there until I found out I could get the items cleaned. Salt causes the material to deteriorate so it's not good for the items' longevity. It's a little more than the average dry cleaning bill; $55 for cleaning the coat and $20 for the gloves. I've found their pricing is fair, things come back quicker than other places, and they have amazing customer service. My gloves were looking like they were beyond saving; blackened fingers and what not. I was pleasantly surprised when they came back looking like new. They also repaired one of my coat pockets for me at no extra charge when I tore it. I'm really rough with my stuff and I'm grateful they were able to hook me up. This is why I can't have nice things. If you opt for the cleaning and storage, then it drops down to $45 for cleaning and $45 for storage and with tax comes out to about $100. They also run a clean and store special for $80 at the end of spring. Storage is on-site so retrieving items is easy. Russell's also sells fur, leather, and shearling coats and accessories but one fur/shearling coat and a pair of gloves is enough for me. Their stuff is very nice and well made but I'm very rough with the stuff I currently own. I've got my eye on a fur muffler though; cuz I'm fancy.
