I don't know why do this girls with a horrible attitude get hired. So I go in, no one to take care of you. I call and it rings for almost 2 minutes straight. She comes out of the bathroom and takes her time to get the phone. Finally gets the phone and the attitude begins. I order a plate and she gave me two options so I took one of those options. Never mentions that is 4 dollars to take those options. At the end of it all I'm paying 23 for noodles and veggies. I canceled the order. The food was fresh, even felt home cooked almost. Honestly it was too bland for me (I had the steak shrimp plate #10) it came with an orange sauce but I figured it was cream based or mayonnaise based and I'm not a fan of those... so that mighta made a difference. While waiting for my food in my car I decided to order more food. Since I saw one of the girls mopping I thought I'd call to add to my order. Pictures and reviews were pretty good for the most part on my research so I was pretty let down for a first impression and felt saddened. I guess the help wanted on the window meant they aren't complete up and flowing well, or.,,they were real busy at the time i came in...,,.or newer cook learning the menu.. or incorrectly timed cooking process for plating. The concept is great and we were completely thrilled about the food but just some of these plates were over cooked. Plate were lacking spice. Eggs should be cooked at the very end to order. Was very excited to try this place out because I love hibachi, sadly the food was lacking flavor. I ordered the shrimp with fried rice and a side salad, typically they have a special dressing for the salads but maybe I came on a bad day. They only had balsamic, ranch, and ceaser. Honestly everything just had no flavor, the fried rice was bland just tasted like white rice with soy sauce. The only good part of the meal was the veggies and the onion soup. They've been open for about a week. The staff were super friendly and mentioned that they invite phone orders so we wouldn't have to wait for our food in the future since we were taking it to go. Inside was clean but they haven't decorated yet. Clearly they've spent all their time putting together an excellent food and drink menu. I had the hibachi steak and shrimp ($15.99). It was delicious. The steak was prepared to my liking, and we upgraded to fried rice ($1.99). The shrimp was fresh and also lightly seasoned. The mixed vegetables were zucchini, mushrooms, onions and julienned carrots. Very similar flavor profile to Benihana at half the price. Didn't try any of the drinks. I'll give this place a 4 even though it's more like a 3 1/2. First, when I read Hibachi and saw the pictures I instantly thought of a fast food Benihana's flavor. Hibachi after all is Japanese grilling. This food has NO Asian flare whatsoever. No garlic flavor, no hint of sesame, nada. It's literally salt and peppered and thrown in the grill flavor. This to me was a huge disappointment as I read "hibachi" and expected Asian flavors. We ordered the steak, shrimp and Cajun chicken combo. I upgraded to fried rice and it tasted like steamed rice with soy sauce. The texture was steamed like it's been sitting in a steamer to keep warm- NOT what you would expect from "fried rice." The sauce they give you is mayonnaise mixed with a little sriracha. That's it. Don't expect any garlicky goodness. Overall it was just okay for me. This is something I can whip up at home on the grill, no complicated flavors added. So that's why for me this is just OKAY. It's pricey for what it is. But give it a try and see for yourself. My husband liked it, but his pallet is easy to impress. I'm a cook at home so my expectations are a bit higher. read more

Tried it for the first time, and while the portions were big and food was fresh, I was left slightly wanting. That yummy unctuous garlicky fried rice we all associate with hibachi just wasn't there. The rice was actually quite bland and only saved by the soy sauce. Despite this, we would definitely return as the proteins we tried (shrimp, chicken, steak) were cooked perfectly and flavorful as were the veggies. Side note- the onion soup was delish. As far as service, the young wait staff could use a little training on prompt service and some basic etiquette, but they were nice enough. Ambience was average for a fast casual finding place but could use a little sprucing up and more detailed cleaning. We will try it again. read more

Terrible service from Bethany. She was extremely rude and unaccomadating. Kept claiming she was unable to get the manager for me ("she was busy, then she was on vacation") My food was cold and I was over charged for an extra meal I did not order or recieve by Bethany. I asked when I picked it up why total was different than on the phone and she said some stupid excuse then once I got home and reviewed the receipt I called and told her no i was correct she was wrong she did over charge me. She told me "if you would look at your receipt" Obviously I did and the amount adding up was incorrect. Then k had to go back in person to recieve a refund. Needless to say a terrible experience. And extremely under trained and rude employee as well as lack of management. She would not call them for me while I was there, there was not manager on site, and she didn't have them call me. She also didn't even actually refund me so now I'm stuck paying even more since she rerung me up to refund. Sad to say I will no longer be eating here and will no longer be referring people to eat here. I've worked plenty of service industry jobs and this is not how you treat a customer. read more
