I found this place by accident. Google will send you first to McDonalds then other places. Sign not really flashy, neither is the building advertisement. Night need a few more signs on the building to do it justice. Restaurant inside is nice and it was clean. Business is family run. Can't be easy to run this type of restaurant around here. So if not everything is available all the time, give them a break, try something that is and come back. And if you like it, tell your friends about it. Server was very nice and informative. Being a Puerto Rican from New York, the alcapurria's were very delicious and tasted like the ones I have eaten many times from different corner stores and bodegas. The chicken and shrimp empanadas were tasty. They were also fully stuffed with shrimp and chicken. The tostones were also delicious. They serve them with the mayo-ketchup sauce which pairs deliciously with tostones. When we ordered the Cuban sandwich, we were highly impressed with the amount of pork they put on there. We were very satisfied with Cuban sandwich. We had the sangria and those tasted awesome! The place is a bit pricey but we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! We placed an order through Uber. Uber has practically 5 stars with over 6500 deliveries. He was given one bag, one plate out of 3 ordered. We got in contact with the restaurant advising them of the situation to which we were responded with an attitude and that they were closing. They tried offering a credit for Friday when it's dinner for tonight, not tomorrow, not Friday or the day after. We asked and informed them that one of us would go pick it up but we're about 15-20 mins away depending on traffic. He said ok, try to hurry because they are closing. But also sounded annoyed. I don't see what the problem is, Uber wasn't given the food- we're OFFERING TO PICK UP what should have ALREADY been made. We get there within the exact time frame and they are closed! Thanks for inconveniencing everyone. We have tried to give this place a chance over and over for so many problems/mess ups, overcharges, wrong orders, missing orders and we're done. This place is really cute and reminds me of the little "whole in the wall" restaurants back home (Panamá). It should've been a hint that there were dead empty during lunch time but it's in the neighborhood, we've noticed it for a while and wanted to support a local business. However, the food was a huge disappointment! First, nothing we actually wanted was was available. We were able to finally get something like fried plantains with pan seared steak. It had absolutely no flavor and could've used some kind of sauce or garnish to add some moisture to the dish. Let me tell you, it was the closest thing to a real Cuban Sandwich you will get here in GA. The bread was toasted just right and it had the right amount of pickles. I'm not sure if this is the norm but the food I got could've really used some kind of sauce but nothing was included. This place needs a new cook that knows how to actually cook Puerto Rican food. Empanadas were still frozen in the middle. When we complained they brought us out a new batch. New batch was better cooked in the middle however the outside was burnt. We ordered chuletas which were burnt to a crisp causing the inside to be hard and chewy. Rice, tostones, beans were ALL tasteless. My grilled chicken breast was chewy and looked like it had been precooked, then frozen, then grilled again. It was very stringy. Horrible, horrible food. Four of us went to this restaurant to try Puerto Rican food. We had the Arroz d' Corner @17.99; the small Sampler for $10.99; Pernil pork roast for $12.99, with a side of beans for 99c; and the Chulata Kan Kan for $18.99. The Chulata Kan Kan was horrible. I could not cut it. The waitress said that I should just pick it up in my hands to eat it. I told her it was not edible 3 times. She just said sorry, but there was no offer to replace it or comp it. It was bones, fat, and very little else. The sampler tasted like pre frozen, warmed up stuff that also was not good. The Arroz d'corner have very little other than rice with a couple of shrimp. The Pernil was the best of the lot, but rated a , " I'd never come back here!" They charged $2.00 for water. On top of this, the table was sticky and we had to ask for extra napkins. Also, they only had one dessert, because they no longer have anything other than a cheesecake. Do NOT waste your time! Just say No! read more

My family and i came to this place on 7/16/22 Place is clean and looks very nice. Waitresses are kind and helpful. Just 5 issues about this place. My son order empanada and it was hot on the out side but everything inside of it was completely frozen. My wife order a Chuleta Kan-Kan and I order the Jibarito sandwich. Looked good on the plate. But the Chuleta was not cooked all the way, had blood and it was all pink. " its pork " my Jibarito sandwich the plantains were old. We also order Yuca and when I took a bite it was frozen in the inside. I don't know what else to say. Place looks good in the inside but they just need to replace that Chef they have of they want to continue being in business for the future. I hope they get better read more

Do not stop here and waste your time! The food was horrific. Rice was clumpy and hard. Meat was not fresh at all, hard and chewy. Plantains were hard and cold. The cheesecake was old and stale tasting. I was completely blown away that anyone would even serve quality of food like this for that price. McDonald's would have been a better choice hands down! To top everything off I went in ordered food for take out. I asked for receipt. He told me it was new system and could not print receipt. I felt kinda funny about it so I checked my bank account before leaving parking lot. They had forced a 15% tip without my authorization. Not going to even go into what they said had happened. New and clean facility. The food is amazing but the only things that were slightly off for us were that the service can be slow and there's certain foods that run out early on in the night. We went 2-3 times and one of the nights we did notice another table being sat down and their orders taken before us (when we were clearly there first) and we awkwardly waited for the waitress to come back until one of us had to check to make sure we weren't forgotten about so I feel like it's a hit or miss when it comes to service. Stopped by for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Cuban sandwiches and they were huge! There was a good amount of meat and the bread was fantastic! Delicious! My only dings would be if you wanted just water to drink you had to purchase a bottle and the other was whatever they are using to clean the tables is making them feel sticky and unclean.
