I needed a memory card door replaced, which needed some electrical wires to be removed in the process. It is an expensive Sony camera so my concern was valid. UPDATE: i went to a different best buy location and i was able to return my tv for a FULL REFUND. they didn't give me any issues with the return an didn't ask about the missing part whatsoever! they saw that the tv was in brand new condition and returned it. that goes to show that this location is clearly just problematic and they hire rude people who have no customer service skills at all.
