Let's just start with he owner, who is friendly and gracious. He was very thankful to us for coming in and made us feel right at home. He explained how everything worked to us newbies with patience and it really set a good tone from the start. Next is the view... you're hitting golf balls right toward Mt. Rainier which is awesome. It hard to ask for a better setting. Lastly, they use the Top Tracer golf app which has lots of games, tools, and tracking to help you improve your game. The pricing from what I understand is very competitive as well. There is a refreshment bar inside with snacks and drinks, including adult beverages. There is also a modest pro shop and all staff are kind and friendly. Out front you'll also find a free putting green area for putting practice, as well as a new building which will eventually house batting cages as well. I highly recommend Airport Golf Center.

You have to have at least two people because someone has to operate the pitching machine. The machine was a bit iffy for slow pitch, it was hard to get the proper arc that is required. Eventually we ended up pitching to each other and standing behind the protective screen which was fine. We went on a weekday and it was a bit slow so they let us go a few minutes over since there was no reservation behind us. Shawn the owner was super nice and helpful and the facility looks great. They offer all kinds of options for teams and youth groups so if you have kids interested in sports you should definitely check them out. The only drawback is the lack of parking. There is street parking but be careful of parking in someone else's lot because they will have you towed. Other than that, this is a great addition to downtown Olympia since there are almost no batting cages in the area.

They act like baseball jocks, and, although many of the kids are endeavoring to be one, that doesn't mean that they should act like it as adults. Most importantly, The facilities are out of repair. You end up paying nearly $100 per month for a membership and two of the five batting cages are out almost all the time. For months on end. So you materially pay full price for a partial product. When staff are confronted, there are no apologies, just reasons why machine machines are broken, which, to a consumer, frankly don't matter at all. The business would do better if people were treated more courteously, and if it was kept up to date.

When I was there the owner was the one working front desk and he was super friendly. Might not be your experience so I'll leave it at that, hopefully the rest of the staff are great too. Most of the folks coming to bat here seemed like grade schoolers and given I visited at the start of spring, perhaps it was season. Nevertheless, there were cages available for me and my buddy to bat at. We had to go into one of the faster cages but as a beginner I was able to hit most of what came my way. Once in a while the ball pitched with a bit of a different trajectory but nothing crazy. We did not have our own gear, you can borrow what they have at Stod's. Definitely would come again.

Very disappointing experience at the mini golf due to poor customer service. While my family member…read moredid break a rule, the issue was HOW it was handled. The younger female employee with brown hair was sarcastic and rude instead of calmly and respectfully explaining the rule. The business is extremely rigid with its rules, yet the rules are not clearly posted or explained. There should be clear signage, and customers should be given the benefit of the doubt in a family-friendly setting. The owner has stated on previous reviews that there is "no polite way" to confront someone breaking the rules, which I strongly disagree with. In a family-friendly business, staff should be trained to address issues clearly, respectfully, and without sarcasm or hostility. Unless you want people to start boycotting your business. Even after paying, the attitude continued from their female staff member who was working in the Pro Shop and then we were not allowed to speak with the owner. Mini golf should be fun and welcoming, but this experience was not.
