The non-fishing apparel - caps, clothes, gloves are usually never on sale even though you can get a little of a discount for being a member. But that's about it, really. You hardly see brands like Columbia, Under Armour or others go on sale. Even when they have the annual tent sales during the Summer in August, hardly see things on sale that much. As for customer service, guess it depends on the days, because we have received mostly great to pretty bad and slow services on different days we have visited this store location in Fife, on occasion. We still shop for our fishing gear here as we like the selection and variety of items for different fishing seasons - Salmon, Steelhead and Trout.

The pricing on decks and parts are reasonable, and vary depending on what you're looking to get. They are very transparent with their pricing and ordering options. They have a wide selection of decks, trucks, and wheels, but they can place an order online (as them for more information on this.) Inside there is a cool waiting area with games and TechDecks to play. It's a laidback vibe to purchase pieces for your board, helmets, knee pads and such. Plus hats and t-shirts, too. The best part is they have an indoor skatepark in the back, there is a small fee to skate and/or rent the whole spot. They can help anyone new to the scene practice and train for new skills and tricks, or ask them to modify the ramps for a more experienced skate. A safe place to skate, hang out, get your board serviced and/or buy new parts and gear.

With an upcoming trip to Baja Sur, I decided this was the time and was initially looking at outfits in Mexico when I just so happened to check local prices here in the PNW. I was surprised to find that Underwater Sports offered the most affordable PADI certification I had seen, half the cost of some dive companies in Baja. When I went to check out the shop, I was immediately impressed with the staff, who were all friendly, knowledgeable, & passionate about diving. It felt right, so I booked the Open Water Diver course. This proved to be a very good decision as our instructor, Jaiden, and her assisting Dive Masters (Frank & Jason) were all equally skilled, friendly, and engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was professional but never stiff. I was confident that Jaiden and our Dive Masters always knew what they were doing and had our safety as their top priority, but they also were very relatable and easy to talk to. The experience was an entirely positive one, from beginning to end, and while I was already certain that I would love diving, I am now equally certain that I have found a community that I will continue to share that love with. I highly recommend Underwater Sports in Federal Way for anyone interested in crossing over to the other side of the water's surface. No signage saying no one in the parking lot after a certain time, *nothing.* light comes on and suddenly a man on a speaker says I'm "trespassing and have been recorded." I'm sorry, don't have an outside ATM then - honestly. This has never happened at another ATM in my 30 year life-span. If you can't be bothered to even put a simple sign out, don't have something on your lot that's accessible past business hours. Plain and simple unjustified to accuse people of trespassing when they *haven't been asked to leave* and *again no clear signage saying you cannot access to ATM in this timeframe.* The dude on the speaker was obnoxious about it too. Whoever your security is needs to relax and get some proper signage at *all* entrances. I was just pulling out money for my fucking rent at an outdoor ATM.
