I don't think they even deserve one star, four days ago I went into the Auburn Nike Outlet to purchase a pair of shoes for my nephews birthday, the person who was helping me name Bryan told me I have up to 60 days to return the item. Today 6/13/2022 I was told by Sam (manager) i cant return the item although it has not been worn or even unpackaged due to it being final sale, it not my fault the staff don't know the company policy, mind you I have been shouting for this location since it opened up. Typically it's hard to have me check out new stores because I like to stay loyal to specific business. I was bummed out because my new cycle gear Battlescar 2 helmet came in but I was totally unpleased with it. (Long story short, I got helmet-fished or cat-fished from the other store I went to lol I placed on hold an Icon leather jacket and picked it up on Saturday. I picked up my hypersport jacket and decided to buy a new airflite helmet from this store because they had them in stock and also bought a mirror visor to go along with it. I wanted to jump on the bike today while the sun was out after work. I needed to get my leather chaps altered so I rode out to Eagle Leather. This was my first visit and I was very impressed! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. And I was really impressed with Cindy making my alterations. She basically had to replace and adjust the front belt and buckle to get them to work for me (I had bought my chaps used and only wore them a hand full of times because this year's weather was so amazing) after she finished they fit for the first time and didn't want to fall off. I took some time checking out all of the products they have in the store and found some patches I liked. Cindy returned from lunch and said she could get them sewn on for me on the spot. But she went WAY above and beyond for me. I wanted two of the patches on each of my sleeves, she ended up having to take each sleeve completely apart to sew them on, then sew it all back together good as new. My jacket was $650.00 (I was a dummy and bought mine at the Harley dealership with my bike) and was a tiny bit nervous when I saw this happening. But she is a PRO! And dispute all of the unexpected extra work that went into my needs, she was fast and friendly. It's those small things that bring me back to a business. I'm looking forward to coming back. Great selection of leathers, but more importantly, a great onsite seamstress who can handle a variety of leather mods. She routinely does club patches. Her prices are very reasonable but she was able to create a pocket in my favorite vest for a back protector that two regular tailors either turned down or wanted at a price that was more than the value of the vest itself. Their seamstress charged me $50, letting me keep the vest in service, making me very happy with the results. read more

I have to set my emotional feelings aside for this particular review. Everything was going great in the beginning, I was looking for my first motorcycle gear since I was planning on purchasing my first bike!! This store has been around for a long time and I always saw Harley's outside in the parking lot. Never did I think I would stop into this store? I mean why would I? I wanted a bike my whole life but didn't think I would actually be getting one! Say what?! Well I did! And I needed my gear for taking the test and getting my license. I found a helmet I really liked!! And I happen to fit an X-Small but ... An employee walked over and tells me how to find the right size. He said the X-Small was too small... But now here lies the problem. They had a Medium and even a Large ... But no Small... Just an X-Small. Sighs... This shop has quite a large selection on the gear they sell! From helmets to jackets to boots. Luckily, I did my research before coming here and I asked if they have it in stock at their other store! In Auburn. Compared to being in Tacoma .... I did not want to drive all the way to Auburn for a helmet ... But it was THE helmet I wanted. I had to get it. Ya know? The other issue I was having trouble with was the gloves. Every store I have been to so far ... I could not find an X-Small to match my taste and feel for the grip. They were either really ugly or too loose. That's no good. Well, the guy checked and said they had one in stock. We ended up leaving the Tacoma store empty handed and off to the Auburn shop we go. read more

I recently bought some gear from Eagle Leather and was helped by a young man by the name of Seth. One of the items I wanted was out of stock and a fairly rare item as it turns out. Seth worked tirelessly for over 2 months trying to find this item, all the while keeping in constant contact to keep me updated on the situation. Finally he was able to obtain my holy grail. I was kind of disappointed by this store. I was heading home from receiving the endorsement for my Motorcycle license...and I came in here to buy a New helmet...I was excited. As someone in my class had gotten their helmet from here... I went in no greeting at all...but a lot of employees just standing around or socializing with each other...So I went by the helmets and peeked around thinking someone would help me...still nothing. Went up by the front area still not greeted or acknowledged... I left and went to another store immediately 4 miles away. I was there on Sunday and one of the salespeople there helped me with a product I didn't even purchase there, just because I needed help. They had a small spare part in their back room to help attach a fancy intercom thing to my helmet--they did the attachment and gave me the part for free! We entered the back door which had a large sign about hiring Top Performers. My husband went in one direction and I in another. Then we hooked up to try on products. We spent 30 min in the store and not one single employee asked if we needed help. They did a great job of wandering around though. Well to be upfront and on a lighter side. I HATE THAT STORE, LOL. Actually my bank count hates this store, because no matter what my wife and I promise ourselves to not to buy something there, we end up buying something LOL. But this store deserves the 5 stars, the staff is friendly, advise you when you want it, or leave you alone if you want to just browse the shop. The chaps are brilliant, and the in store fitting is just something. Their advise is based on experience and not to make a sale. Last week we bought a intercom system for our helmets, and we weren't certain which kind. We followed the advise and have no regret, spot on, super quality. The selection of merchandise is just awesome, there is nothing you would miss, because they've got it all, and if not, they order it for you, and call you upon arrival of it. I'm a novice when it comes to bikes, I'll admit, but when I started dating my husband, he kept asking if I wanted to ride with him. I was wary about it since I'd heard so many bike stories that didn't end well. Most recently, by a co-worker. But I said I'd give it a shot. Love makes you do stupid, crazy stuff. Thankfully, he's a safe rider and I felt more and more comfortable with him. I decided it was time for me to get my own gear. We saw Eagle Leather and there was my opportunity to gear up. I went in and chose an HJC helmet that really felt it fit me right (at least it fit better than his oversized 3/4 helmet I had to constantly borrow). So I needed a jacket to go with it. They have a huge selection of women's leather clothing as well as men's. I found my jacket in the style I feel comfortable wearing. I thought I was set. So we went riding. I quickly learned that it gets cold on the legs (WA weather being what it is isn't always sunny during the summer), so we went back to get my chaps. Not just to keep the cold off, but for protection. I was fitted and they cut the leggings off to match my height right in the store. While I was there, we got my vest too. I like the old buffalo nickel look butons. We're both veterans and like to advertise our services, so a vest was mandatory for such patches. Oh yeah, Eagle Leather has a military discount too. They're really supportive of veterans. They also have information on bike riding classes. They have a lot of other gear too; like blue tooth equipment, boots, rain gear, helmet repair or change out equipment, locks, lights, banners, stickers, patches, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit high, but well worth it. Check them out if you ride--even as a passenger like I am (at least for now). read more

The staff is very knowledgeable about their products!!! Possibly one of the best shops in Tacoma for gear (and probably the only good one, since there isn't much here to begin with). The store is STOCKED with everything of different brands. A lot of inventory to choose from and has a great selection of sales. Definitely gear galore. Customer service is great. They know their stuff and know what to suggest to customers. The atmosphere is great and they were so great to our 2 year old when he was crying in the store. Offered him cookies and even gave him a hot wheel. They didn't have to, but they did and that's golden in my book. Come here if you want a big selection of products.
