Eagle Leather has been on my informal mental list for a while and though it isn't exactly in a…read morelocation where it's an area I go to often the past weekend was one of the best opportunities to go to it. And since it wasn't on a common route of mine it would slip from my memory so I wanted to make sure we paid a visit as long we were remembering it. They also had a location in Auburn but that location has since closed. Steve likes leather a little bit more than I do but I still found some great jackets, shoes, boots, belts and rings here. And of course the t shirt section is always a draw for me. The place is super friendly and they had cookies and hot coffee at the front door and offered us to have some. How could we decline? Steve got a small bag here for some of his leather gear to place in and is quite pleased with it. I didn't get anything... yet but knowing how I operate I often need to ponder on something before making a purchase. Some of the jackets are at reasonable prices especially since they are leather and there seemed to be lots of sales but I am not sure if that is because it's near the holiday season or if it's always like that. I definitely want to go back and probably get a ring and a belt and browse some more as there is a lot to take in here. There are some beautiful motorcycles on display here also. I really liked Eagle Leather and once the holiday season settles down probably pay another visit.

As always excellent quality, excellent delivery and I turn on all my Brothers and Sisters onto…read moreEagle and I know this because I see your cuts... Peace

The Bespoke Clothier completely changed how I think about fit. If you have a hard-to-fit body type,…read moreyou know how disappointing even "altered" clothes can be. I brought Gabriel a designer suit that still didn't feel right after store alterations. He was pretty honest--said the best it could become was a 7/10--and then went to work. He adjusted the shoulders, chest, sleeves, lapels, which required him to move every single button. It was literally a completely different suit. And for the first time, it actually fit the way it should. Since then, I've gone back for five custom suits, multiple shirts, and my favorite, an overcoat (which I'd avoided for years because of off-the-rack fit issues). Every item has come out perfectly tailored. If fit has always been a compromise for you, it's worth seeing what Gabriel can do. Adding some photos, but I'm not a fashion/textiles photographer. It's harder than it looks.

I've been looking for a place to get a proper suit made for a while. I consider myself a difficult…read morefit -- my chest measurement is at least 10 inches more than my waist. My posture is very upright and that just makes the chest issue even more difficult. There aren't many places in the US outside of New York that do real bespoke -- patterns cut from scratch. I'm glad I found Gabriel. He has a great understanding of classic men's style and proportions. The suit he made for me is very comfortable and continues to get better as the canvas takes the shape of my body. I keep looking for areas to make micro improvements for my next project with him. But to be honest, the fit is so good I'm not sure there's much to change other than experimenting with other styles, like a double breasted. I plan on commissioning something from him every year as long as I stay in Washington. The super tight, short jacket with the bum exposed, with skinny lapels was trending for a while on off the rack clothing. Even some made to measure places make suits like this. If you are looking for a suit to wear for the next 10 years, I encourage you to give Gabriel a try and have him make something timeless for you.

The Bespoke Clothier - New in the shop: We love the understated class the grosgrain lapels add to this formal wear. That's the beauty of #bespoke.
