The ladies were very friendly. From order to delivery to our table. Place is clean and accommodating. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Service is Patient but not slow! I debated giving 2 stars but I'll give 3 because the staff is super friendly. I also enjoy the ease of online ordering. Parking is a true nightmare but I'm not sure how much of that is the store's fault if corporate placed them there. One of my biggest gripes here is inconsistency of product. I'd say they get it right 55% of the time, or a little over half. Plenty of times I've had missing lettuce, or worse, missing cheese that I paid extra for. However, this pales in comparison to my biggest gripe which is the freshness of their bread. I don't know if they bake it in house or get it delivered, but every single sub I get is on the stalest bread known to man! I'm stunned it goes out the door like that! The bread crumbles to the touch, is devoid of flavor, and about as moist as the sand in the Mojave. GET BETTER BREAD!!! Other locations don't seem to have this issue so someone needs to get on that pronto! At the end of the day, it's a D'Angelos, so you're getting an overpriced, low-ish quality sub. I live at an office close by and absolutely love the sandwiches and salads here. Unfortunately, today was a huge disappointment. I ordered 3 Rice bowls special order. Instead of not putting in certain veggies we got rice bowls with what we didn't want only. Then the salad I ordered hardly didn't have any chicken nor did it have the bread and dressing we usually get. I called and Andrea (the cook) said that maybe a veggie got into the bowls by mistake and tried to take zero responsibly for the mix-up. The store on park ave in woonsocket violates the American disabilities act so I will not be going back. As I pulled into the handicapped spot I was told by an employee that I can not park in the spot clearly marked HANDICAP PARKING. I asked the employee why and he stated they had a delivery coming. Dangelo's seems to delegate what is more important an elderly man with a spinal chord injury or their delivery. When I went inside and made my concerns noted all they could do is apologize, but unfortunately that didn't help me with the painful walk I had to endure, to and from the car. The best lobster sandwiches on the planet. It's also well-known for the steak sandwiches. My wife prefers the large lobster sandwich. I was little hesitant giving this place a chance because it had a 2 star rating. But my wife convinced me and she is never wrong. Their online menu is not current and the sandwich I wanted was not there. I decided to try a new item, the Korean BBQ steak sandwich. Excellent on so many levels! The beef was sweet and garlic-y, reminiscent of Korean bulgogi. The spicy cold slaw was great with the tender beef. The bread was chewy and soft. The worst customer and delivery service. I ordered two subs and two salads. They came without the salads and the receipt said the salad was an Invalid size. I guess the manager didn't think to place a phone call to resolve the issue. Instead he delivery driver showed up And asked us if we really wanted the salads. We did. They delivered us the salads. Went here to buy a lobster sandwich for my mom. My mom has been in the hospital several weeks and I have been buying her a lobster roll and sandwich for a few weeks at a few other locations. They measure the lobster in plastic cups for portion sizing. This location is the only location that did not put the right amount of lobster in the roll. Not happy with that. They are too expensive to get less then the amount that they normally give you. I will not go back to this location. read more
