This new pizza spot on Black Rock Turnpike, next to Country County Deli is legit! So good, friendly staff, and reasonably priced! You can order online for pick-up or delivery. We've had pizza, meatballs, chicken, and everything has been great. And I'm not just saying all of this because they came from my hometown, Northford.

A welcomed, new edition to this side of Fairfield. NY style pizza is delicious, - and the staff is super friendly. Recommend.

The wings were not as crispy as I liked and really didn't have much flavor just the drizzled on sauce which was uneventful.

Service was very quick and friendly, and there was a diner-like ambiance that was casual and inviting. We tried three pies: clam, fresh tomato (summer special), and hot pepperoni. The clam pizza had great garlicky, lemony flavor, but some of the clams were too chewy for my liking. The fresh tomato pie was my favorite, as it was light and had great basil and garlic flavor. The hot pepperoni and peppers pie was also good, packing more of a spicy punch than expected, but overall very flavorful. The crust of all three of these pies was fantastic, light and crispy, yet still substantial.

We ordered one pizza with one topping and waited quite a while. A table seated next to us arrived after us, ordered four pizzas and received all their food before we got ours. I asked our waiter if there was a reason the table got 4 pizza's before our 1 pizza and his initial response was simply, "No reason." When I questioned it further, he said it depended on when the tickets were received, which didn't make much sense since they were seated after us. I understand delays happen, but a kind explanation or apology would have gone a long way. Instead, the response felt dismissive. I tried to send this feedback through the restaurant's website first, but it kept giving me an error from their website, so I'm posting it here instead in the hopes that management sees it and can address whatever caused the delay and help prevent the same experience for future customers.

No need to apologize as it's always worth waiting a few minutes for a fresh cup. When she bought out the coffee, the milk was a little bit curdled and I mentioned could she please bring me a fresh cup with new milk? She apologized several times and in the end wound up camping the cup of coffee and my Arnold Palmer drink and discounted the chicken Parmesan. This is the right way to run a restaurant. I will definitely be back. As far as the chicken Parmesan, it was absolutely delicious. What I like about it is the entire chicken is covered in mozzarella. Really enjoyed it.

I was in the mood for a quality pasta dish, although I would love to try their pizza. The outdoor dining area is quite large, and the inside is spacious and well docorated.. The tables were tsdtefully set. The entire restaurant was clean, including the restroom. I started off with a Moretti beer. I wanted to try the Bolognese egg rolls with vodka sauce. Lots of reviews about them. There were 4 eggrolls so this is a great app to share. They were very good, crunchy exterior and ample Bolognese and cheese. The vodka dipping sauce had a nice little kick to it. Brillliant idea. I then had the Fettuccine Alpha Romeo, with cream, egg yolk, pecorino, and panchetta; a cross between Carbonara and Alfredo, which is usually not my go to dish, but it sounded delectable. The portion was generous and the dish was rich and the pasta was al dente. I thought it could only have been improved upon by having the panchetta a tad crispy , but on second thought the way is is prepared is the way to go with this dish. Layers of flavor in this dish. Service was excellent, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. I loved the option to sit outside. I very much enjoyed my experience and recommend and plan to return to try the pizza and more! The waiter told me they have a prix fixe menu for $16 lunches during the week!

As someone who hates typical Connecticut pizza and firmly believes that New York pizza is in a league of its own, I was genuinely shocked -- and impressed -- to find pizza here that rivals (and in some cases surpasses) what I used to get in the city. It's just that good. I've been ordering from this place since it was The Pizza Post, and the quality hasn't just remained consistent -- it's actually gotten better over time. The management, owner, chef, and even the delivery driver are all incredibly professional and courteous. It's clear they take pride in their product and in their service. Delivery is always lightning fast, and there's never a delivery fee -- which in this day and age is almost unheard of. Another huge plus? The gluten-free pizza I order for my wife isn't some frozen, off-the-shelf crust like most places. It's made in-house, and you can taste the difference. She loves it, and honestly, I've stolen a few slices and couldn't even tell it was gluten free. The ambience is exactly what you'd want from a great local spot -- a classic, no-frills mom-and-pop pizza joint where the focus is on the food and the community. If you're on the fence or stuck ordering from the same old mediocre spots, do yourself a favor and give The Post a shot. It's not just good for Connecticut -- it's just plain great.

What I love about the pizza is you get just the right amount of rosemary hint when eating the pizza which makes it taste that much better. In addition, there lunch menu is very affordable which offers sandwiches for 7.50 and two slices of pizza with a can of soda for 7.50. Furthermore, you get a ticket stamper and the tenth time you order pizza, you get a free large pizza. Wow!! That's a great way to keep people coming back!! The inside was nice, cozy and somewhat trendy. I can definitely see some pictures getting taken by the light up sign on the wall. The customer service was great and the owner was very gracious.

It was topped with shredded mozzarella, ricotta, caramelized onions, truffle oil, and he added sausage. I enjoyed the truffle flavor.. it wasn't overpowering and everything worked well together. The pizza was flavorful, and I can see why it's a popular choice. That said, as a Bronx native, I wouldn't call this New York style pizza, it's not the kind I grew up with. The crust was nice and thin, but toward the center of the pie it got a little soggy. I just wish the crispiness stayed more consistent from edge to center. The restaurant itself has a small takeout area when you first walk in, but through the double doors there's a full dining room with a bar, so it's larger than it initially appears. While we only tried the pizza this visit, after looking at photos of the menu on Yelp, id say their dinner dishes look delicious. I'd definitely come back and try their chicken and pasta!

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty, save for one gentlemen. The dining space is shared with the bar and the tables were nicely set. We did not get the friendliest of welcomes and the wait staff seemed almost annoyed at our questions and not being ready to order. We were in no rush. My friend thought about getting the eggplant and asked if it could be prepared without the breading. No was the reply. Ok. Pizzas are only 1 size, personal size 12 inch. No other choices. So we ordered a plain cheese pizza and a half eggplant/half crumbled sausage. The cheese pizza was edible, but nothing to return for. The eggplant on half of the pizza had an off putting taste and was mushy. Not at all appetizing. The sausage was meh. Pizza crust was thin but lacked flavor, sauce was sparse and lacking depth or flavor. I did not eat the eggplant 1/2 pizza and the server asked if I wanted it boxed up. "No thank you." She then proceeded to tell me that was a waste and it was only a personal sized people and I should've had no problems eating it. Rude. Prices were high for the quality of food that was served. Restrooms were clean and plenty of parking, but I do not recommend and will not be returning.
