This is the best nail place I been at since I got here to Augusta I been looking and looking and finally found the right spot. They actually do the designs and I love my nails with design and not just simple design I like some crazy sophisticated design. Great great place and the owner is one funny guy. He is too funny I will recommend this nail place and I'm sure you won't regret going here. read more

The customer service is AWESOME, Tony was very attentive and shaped/painted my nails EXACTLY the way I wanted them. The salon is very unassuming, as it's in a storefront; I'm glad I didn't let that stop me from going. It's clean, comfortable, they do great work, and it's reasonably priced! Those are the things that matter. read more

This is by far the best nail salon in Augusta. I've been to several other places here and they would always rush to get me out of there but this place, they take their time to do your nails and they LAST! I had a set of stilettos for almost a month and they were still perfect (aside from needing a fill-in)! As long as I'm still in Augusta, I won't be going anywhere else. Ask for Eric or Katie!!! read more

D&N Nails - SNS nails.. first time getting them and first time here. I can say I'm satisfied - Nail Salons Near Me - Augusta, Georgia

Please read this whole review the two stars are not related to the work that was done! My friend and I went for gel manicures. It was late afternoon , we had a short waiting time maybe ten minutes then got seated together. We both work in the medical field and noticed right away that the pouch that held the tools they were going to use on her was sealed but the indicator strip showed that it was NOT sterilized. My tools were brought in open on a tray. So both our toolkits were at most sanitized... This is not what I'm used to from my regular salon. Both ladies worked swiftly yet thoroughly on our nails. My friends finger started bleeding a little when her cuticle was cut. Both our manicures came out nicely and it's been a few days now. My low rating is because of the poor hygiene we witnessed and because we had the impression that it was not so clean overall ( dusty etc) not the work that was done. read more

First visit and I'm in love! I recently relocated to the area and the other 2 shops I tried were either way too expensive or not personable at all. And on top of that, my nails were mediocre. Found D&N via yelp and the reviews and decided to try them and needless to say they delivered! Great service and great prices! They are definitely my new "nail home!" read more

Katie is such a sweetheart and was so helpful when it came to the questions I had regarding lengthening my nails without acrylics. We ended up going with SNS nails which I had never heard of before, but I now love! I'm a nail biter and now my nails look awesome and long. Prices are very reasonable and the customer service is incredible. Thank you again Katie! Will definitely be coming back :) read more

Went for pedicure and nails. Many differant pedicures to choose from. I had a deluxe pedi (30) and my husband had the $38 one. He got to choose a special scent of stuff they would use where I did not get too. He also got hot stones with his. They did a fantastic job. My nails look fantastic. They are a pink/white ombré. The gentleman at the front service table did them. I guess he was the owner. I am very satisfied with the services we received and we will be back. My nails were pricy but they do look fantastic! The salon was very clean and sanitary. In the pedicure tubs they used liners and each person had new supplies. They were busy for a Tuesday afternoon. Worth the wait. read more

I simply love them. I never walk out disappointed. When I'm having a ruff day they definitely relax u and bring beautiful from both my hands and feet. I will not go anywhere else. Very friendly, shows each customer the attention they need and deserves. The prices are on point to top it off. If u need an amazing nail place go there and check out the whole crew. I love love love them and so does my hands and feet. read more

Overall, the place itself is amazing. I prefer Katie over Eric. Eric is rough, he doesn't make sure he does your nails to the best of your ability, and he doesn't make sure you leave out with the best customer service. Katie is sweet, she talks to you, makes sure you get what you want, and takes her time. Took me a hour and 20 mins to get my nails done by Eric, only took 30-40 minutes with Katie. She's gentle and caring. read more

D&N Nails - SNS 124 & 70 - Nail Salons Near Me - Augusta, Georgia

Well first I waited over an hour and it was barely people there. Secondly, I showed 2 people what I wanted multiple times ! And they still proceeded to do my nails just to say they couldn't do the design in the end. Apparently NO ONE in the shop does designs. Why not just tell me before you started??? I was mad. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

About a month ago I decided to call it quits with my nail shop of 5-6 years. It was just time to try a new place. I am in love with D&N Nails!!! 4-5 weeks ago, I came in and KATIE gave me a fill. (I had the same set I had from the old place) it was actually time to change my nails but when I came to D&N Nails I couldn't do it. KATIE said "next time you need to change them" KATIE did a very very good job on my nails when I was in about 4-5 weeks ago... Today I came back for my 2nd time and I was so impressed with KATIE's work because my nails never broke, they didn't lift at all, and the polish NEVER chipped!!! (Remind you I NEEDED A NEW SET) I just couldn't believe how grate of a job KATIE did!!! This time I am doing SNS polish! (My first time doing SNS) and KATIE is the one doing them and KATIE is the one I'll be asking for every time I come to D&N Nails!!! NANCY, did my pedicure when I first came in 4-5 weeks ago! She did a great job!!!! My polish never chipped, and my feet was soo soft when I left!! Unfortunately she wasn't the one doing my pedicure today, however, SON (that's his name) is doing a great job and I could have him do my pedicure again too!! As you can tell I am loyal when it comes to my nail shop. I was at the old place for 5-6 years! & I hope to be able to say the same thing when it come to D&N Nails 5-6 years from now!!! If you haven't been yet, you need to ahead and come by! ask for KATIE FOR YOUR NAILS AND NACY or SON for your pedicure!!! (Everyone here is good) P.S. they have a customer rewards program! Get your card stamped 9 times and on the 10th visit you get $10 off!!! read more

When I asked for SNS nails the nail tech had no idea what I was talking about at first. When I explained what it was he acted like I was stupid for wanting to get SNS and insisted I get acrylics. He was rude the entire time, while he was prying off my original nail polish a piece flew off and hit the lady who was sitting beside me and he didn't even apologize. When I went to pay I accidentally typed in $.10 as the tip instead of $10.00. I would never tip such a low amount on purpose, but before I even had the chance to explain myself the man checking me out said in a very harsh tone, "you're only tipping me 10 cents?" I explained that I had made a mistake and asked if I could use my card a second time to tip him the 10 dollars. He made me feel very uncomfortable with the way he confronted me. He glared at me and called over who looked to be the owner of the store to help me. After I gave my tip I received no acknowledgment at all, just a second stern look from the man who did my nails. I appreciate the owner of the store for being so understanding, but I will not be visiting again due to the lack of professionalism from the employees. read more

i was a bit hesitant at first about getting my nails done here after seeing some pictures and reviews, but it was honestly one of my best experiences with a nail salon in augusta that doesn't over price and has good service. the lady who did my nails was very friendly and she also did my eyebrows, they look great! read more

I read the reviews and they seemed very promising. I paid almost $100 to get my nails and toes done! 2 days later they're already peeling? I got dip powder which typically lasts me 1 month I would NOT recommend this nail shop. I had someone doing my nails and toes at the same time which means I wasn't able to enjoy my pedicure. My nails are really brittle and are breaking now more than ever. DO NOT GO HERE. EXPENSIVE AND POOR QUALITY read more

My appointment was on time and it didn't take long to complete. It is a small, clean, and quiet environment which was nice. My nails turned out uniform, smooth, and natural looking. Lindsey took her time and thought of the small details that made it comfortable. read more

this is my go-to nail place, and my last visit was my favorite. a friendly older man (i should've gotten his name) recommended me a better color than what i chose, and i'm happy that i listened. i tried to give myself a pedicure the night before, and he thoroughly and miraculously fixed everything that i had botched. the rest of the staff is friendly, too. i noticed that all of the customers are probably regulars because of the way they interact with them. also, i've never seen the salon completely packed, but i still always call and ask if there's a long wait before i arrive. read more

I tried to give the guy who did my nails a break since everybody makes mistakes sometimes, but after the 3rd time being cut, after telling him he was hurting my nails, I started to get upset. He laughed and asked me if I was going to cry from all the bleeding & grabbed my finger and pressed on it with his bare hands covered in dip powder that made it sting even worse. After washing my hands, he then tried to pluck a hangnail that I told him to leave alone, insisting that it bothered him and he had to get it for me. Then he overcharged me & laughed it off after the total was different when I had him redo the math on the calculator in front of me. Good thing I noticed before I paid. Also was charged $10 extra for getting a small design in the corner of my nail and he was surprised when I didn't tip. I've never had this kind of experience before. It was shocking. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! The wait for me to actually get seated in the manicurist's seat wasn't long; 30 minutes top. But I got a full set and my nails weren't even painted until AFTER an hour in. Also, the manicurist was rude. The buffing machine was hurting my finger and he laughed and put it on himself and said "how can that hurt!" Aside from that, I was looking at one of the rings with the nail colors and he snatched it out of my hand. Edit: one of my nails broke within an hour of me leaving. All I did was put on a shoe :( read more

Awful experience, She didn't file my toenails even half smooth, everyone jagged....fingernails too short and paint job just as bad on both. I like the owner Katie, but will not be back. She needs to hire more experienced people who care about their work. My tech said her name was Ann?? A waste of good money....had to go get a do over!! read more

The only good thing I can say is that they shaped my nails perfectly. Other than that I didn't like the service. I got a fill and wanted to get my eyebrows waxed, but they only had one lady who apparently knows how to do eyebrows and of course she wasn't there. Then as I was getting my fill he didn't ask to cut, shape, nothing. I didn't say anything because I was thinking maybe they do it different here? I just moved here. Idk. Then I told him I wanted regular polish, nonstop he pushed me to getting gel, at least 6 times. If I say no, then do fucking regular nail polish. read more

Sooooo friendly and nice! Got the royal pedicure, ugh! Hot stone massage! What could be better!! And the people here were so friendly and welcoming! Just a wonderful experience!!!! read more

Me and two male friends were able to walk in for spa manicures. One of my guys wanted, no, needed(!) the massage chairs! The guys both got the jelly pedicures while I opted for the royal pedicure with the green tea for detox!! One of the guys loved the jelly and said it was like his feet was in oatmeal. With their jelly pedicures, they had a peppermint masque put on their legs with a hot stone massage after!! The royal pedicure had the sea salt foot soak, a sugar scrub, masque (all in the green tea!! They had other scents too!) followed with a hot stone massage! I was not expecting this kind of treatment in Augusta, GA! I'm from southern Cali and was hugely impressed with the service we received! I wish I was going to be here longer so I could try the jelly pedicure, but I needed to be pampered today. Thank you for a job well done, D&N Nails!! read more

Moved here from Atlanta and I've been searching for a salon to start going to for SNS and pedicures. Tried D&N today and loved my pedicure experience! My technician didn't like my polish choice for my toes and suggested nicer options that I went with- she was funny and great with checking in with me. She talked me into a jelly pedicure and I fell in love for serious. I will keep coming back for sure for these pedicures! My SNS manicure came out nicely but felt that there was like color options. I also like the way my technician checked in with me on length and shape. Felt that it was a tad rough but nothing to cry about, and some nails are a teensy bit uneven- nothing that is super distracting though. Will come back unless I find a miraculously better salon! read more

I've been to a few of the nail places in Augusta/surrounding area and I was mostly disappointed. Either the service sucks and the wait is less or the service is great but the wait is forever. Here you get the best of both worlds, plus amazing nails. read more

Visited early on a Saturday, after calling to check the wait. As a guy who gets pedicures often, I've become a good judge, I think. They used new tools each time, offered a good value, and overall good experience. You could tel most of the customers were regulars and known by name. read more

Got the jelly pedicure and it was amazing! I had an appointment and when I walked in we were greeting with a friendly greeting and were told to pick our color. The immediately had chairs available for us and we sat down. There were a few other people in the shop so they started on one of us and told us that they would be with us as soon as possible. This was no problem and I really appreciated the kindness and them letting me know. The technicians were nice and did great work on my feet. They were not very chatty and provided a nice relaxing experience. We were also offered drinks while in our chair and that was nice as well. Overall, I really loved this place and this will be my regular nail place from now on. read more

I had an appt at 5:30 for a fill, and when I got there, Vu took care of me. I had changed my mind and wanted a style change instead of a fill in. They weren't busy, so it wasnt a problem. One of my hands is slightly paralyzed which makes the process a bit harder at times. Vu made me feel completely comfortable, and did an amazing job. I have gotten my nails done at several places in several different cities, and never had anyone pay so much attention to detail or take so much pride in their work. I was highly impressed, and no one else will ever touch my nails ever again but Vu. read more

My first visit was very nice! I had Yen and she gave me a very nice mani and pedi. She was super sweet and polite. My second visit was horrible...a guy named Vu gave me a mani and pedi. First of all he tried to trim my tiny toe nails with a clipper large enough to do an elephants toes and wondered why it was painful! It was so large he could not get it under the toenails to clip them. The leg massage was very minimal and forgettable. Moving on to the manicure....he walked to the sink and put some COLD water in a bowl to soak my nails...no cream or soap...just cold water. He cut and filed my nails and then told me to wash my hands...not even a hint of an arm and hand massage. Applied the clear polish I requested and I left. The polish peeled off in sheets. This guy is a nightmare..if you go there and they give him.....RUN!!!!! read more
