Only a couple days after getting a dip manicure the dip is separating from my nails and peeling up on the side.

Disappointed that only a couple days after getting a dip French manicure my nails are chipping and peeling along the edges. While the people were super nice and the facilities well maintained the quality of the dip manicure is poor. Unfortunately my nails lasted only a couple days before the dip started to separate from nail and peel up on the sides after paying $72 which is on the expensive side. I have been getting a dip manicure for years and typically my nails last 3 weeks with no issue. Upset these only last a couple days while visiting Aiken on vacation.

I was excited to do something for myself as I never usually do so I opted to get my brows done. The place was nice. The woman who did my brows seemed pretty uninterested when I tried to make small talk. The type that I'm used to when getting my brows done. I get it though so I shut up. She seemed like she was doing a good job and then she handed me the mirror and I saw my brows. I was so upset that I wanted to cry but I don't like confrontation so I paid $17 for my $13 service and ran to my car. I don't know what the vision was and I've been filling in my brows ever since I left. Something that was supposed to be a nice sweet treat for myself turned into a waste of my time and money.

Worst nail salon that I have been to in 40 years. Four nicks and one cut under my nail I asked for long nails I got short nails I left in the middle of my manicure because the fourth cut which was fairly big I was done. The owner Tony called to offer me a free service and had the Ordasity to say that he was not there when he was right next to me . Don't not use the salon ,absolute horrible and it was not one person ,so bad that they moved to another lady to finish that's when she cut me under my nail.

I've been coming here for years and have always loved my results. My usual tech is no longer at this establishment. I will miss her greatly. However, I popped in on Monday because my natural nail had split from the side and I needed help. TONY TO THE RESCUE! He was able to fit me in for an acrylic overlay to protect the nail from splitting further. It looks so natural. I am very pleased! read more

I was so disappointed, the live for a spa pedicure and this was thumbs down for sure. The technician, name unknown, put a warm towel on one leg and then took forever to bring towel for other leg. NEVER gave a foot massage except skimmed top of feet. Will not return. read more

If I could give zero stars I would they over charged for their services 60 for a fill in when a full set was 45. 60 for a pedicure and 65 for simple nails. 190 was ridiculous do not waste your time going here. read more

The gel polish WILL NOT LAST MORE THAN A WEEK! I repeat THE GEL POLISH WILL NOT LAST MORE THAN A WEEK! I tried to make them my new spot and it just didn't work out. The guy that worked there said that my gel was coming off easily because I washed my hands a lot! But when I go to Nail Palace my gel last more than 3 weeks. Wouldn't recommend spending money on gel there. My friend spent less money than me when she got regular polish and it lasted way longer than my gel. I would stay far away if I was you! read more

This place is a joke. My mom and I came her for pedicures and made appointments. Her pedicure was done before mine even got started. Guy barely massaged her and gave her a cold towel instead of a hot one. Lady who was giving my pedicure was 30 minutes late starting and still kept leaving to go tend to other things. We will not come back. read more

Well... When I first got there it was good . I had taken my daughter to go get her nails done with me ,picked her up early from school to have a great relaxing time. The woman that was with my daughter was great, I was told as long as I did plain it was $35 to do my acrylic and so I ended up getting kevin. My daughter is 7, they rushed me to go on the other side of the building to get me started while my 7 year old was basically by herself. I was not comfortable with that. Kevin wasn't very nice . When he was doing my nails, he accidentally bumped my one finger into my thumb ,so I asked him if he could fix it. He told me, I told you to be careful. My daughter asked me if hers was dry, and he rudely interrupted and said no your hands are not dry. When he was filing my nails he was doing it rough. read more

Wonderful! I came from out of town not really expecting to find a great nail place in Aiken- I'm pretty picky about my nails. I got a mani/pedi, and it was perfect! The salon itself is super cute, and they even offered a complimentary beverage while I was there. Between the sweet staff, the great service, and the glass of wine, I felt totally relaxed and pampered. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

I had a horrible experience here. I was visiting Aiken and wanted a gel manicure and needed my existing gels removed. Rather than wrapping them in acetone and tin foil to get them soak off the manicurist used a very rough file to remove them. I should have stopped her. On one finger she filed through my nail and my nail bed was bleeding. When I complained and pointed it out she only asked if it hurt. Yes! If I could give them no stars I would. read more

Image Nail Salon is clean and Tony, the manager is very welcoming and professional. He keeps the entire salon running. He does an excellent job with Dip Nails. Recently I had a problem with three of my nails starting to chip off. I called and he had me come in. He not only fixed the nails that were chipped but completely redid everything. I certainly wanted to pay him but he said no because it was his fault. I highly recommend the salon. read more

I got my nails done here for a conference and after about four days the nails started to lift. Just for reference I got a acrylic nails and a pedicure. They did not do enough coats on my feet, and my hands were not as good as if I had gotten them done Five days prior. The experience was OK. The place was clean, and for the most part the service was good. But in terms of product I was not pleased. I would go again if I cannot find another nail technician, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I had a pleasant visit and image nail salon. No one seem to know what to do with me at first I waited a bit but everyone was very pleasant. Brittanny did my nails and my pedicure Making suggestions when I ask for her assistance one of the young ladies even picked up an order at the Mexican restaurant for me. I will go again, finding the time to pamper myself is the issue. I'm working on that. read more

This place is amazing! I'm Australian and have had my nails done in New York and NJ and all the way down south and Image Nails is honestly the best! I'm very fussy and particular with the style and colour of my nails and these guys did a perfect job! I got coffin nails in a burgundy red in a matte colour and I am in love! If you want a great manicure and/or pedicure in a relaxing environment, go to Image Nail Spa! I just moved to the area, so I had tried a couple of other salons before looking to Yelp for help. I was in somewhat of a hurry the day I went to get both a pedicure and a gel manicure, but the owner was honest with me when I asked if they could do both in the time I had available. So, I just got my manicure done that day then went back the next for my pedicure. Angela did both my manicure and pedicure, and she is as sweet as can be. She took her time making sure she did everything I wanted her to do, and I am VERY satisfied with the results! I was offered a beverage both days, and the pricing is very reasonable and competitive. The entire experience was great, and I will definitely be calling Image "my" nail salon from now on. read more

My husband has to relocate about every two years with his job and I alway dread looking for a nail person. After trying five other shops in Aiken, I can tell you that Timmy is one of the best at nails. And believe me I have experienced many different salons and techs. I'd give Timmy higher than a five star if it were possible. He's great! read more

Went here because of the high yelp rating and was not disappointed. My mom and I went in on a Saturday without an appointment. It was very busy but they were able to get us in and we only waited 30 min. Both of us got gel manicures. My nails have never looked better. They did such a great job. The salon was also very clean and they have a wide array of color options read more

Well last time I came here, there was a wedding party ahead of us and we had to wait to even get seated, that I understand, today my friend and I walked in, picked out our colors and were almost immediately taken back to the massage chairs for pedicures, however ended up soaking my feet in cold water due to waiting on someone to take care of us. Business must be good. I just wish the wait wasn't so long. read more

I came when they opened and my service proceeded to take over 1 hour and 20 minutes. Originally, the gel and nail polish colors did not match. Once I noticed, I asked the nail tech before he was too far into painting my nails (he had already done my toe nails). he insisted that they were the same color and showed me the box and the labels multiple times. I tried to show him the difference and he continued anyways. Once he finished the last coat, he acknowledged that the colors were different (it was quite obvious- my nails were peach and my toe nails were baby pink). i asked him if he could help me find a color that is similar to the color on my toes so that we didnt have to to redo them both. I was trying to explain that they did not have to be a perfect match, just similar (where it's not too obvious). He refused, stating that I need to pick out a new color. We then had to redo both for them to match. instead of removing the gel on my fingernails, he added another two layers of the new color. I have 5 layers of gel polish on my natural nails. For my nails to have taken over an hour, they are subpar at best. They are splotchy in some spots and streaky in others. Some nails don't even have polish covering the whole nail. It looks like my cuticles were only halfway done on some fingers. I think I paid $65 for this service, but I can confidently say that I will not be coming back. It should be embarrassing to charge someone for this quality of work.

So I went back as a walk-in and a different day and I am so glad I did. It was the best Mani/Pedi I have ever had. I was asked what type of pedi I wanted a regular or spa, (the spa one is a bit more expensive but it is worth it in my opinion) and I got a spa pedi. It was fantastic. They do such a job on both my nails too. Anyhow they had me hooked right away. So let me say this, the staff is not real chatty. If you say something or ask a question of course they will talk with you. I have seen where people have complained about this, but you have to think about this for a minute. These workers are still learning their English and don't talk because of that. So come on people give them a break. How would you feel if you suddenly had to move to Italy and didn't speak the language that well and you had to go to work where you interacted with the clients. Well there you go. So beyond a shadow of a doubt, they get 5 from me!

I got SNS nails done and,…read moreafter they offered me stickers for designs and said they didn't know how to do anything "too complicated" (I opted for no design at that), the woman doing my nails made me bleed by being too rough and filing down my SKIN instead of my NAIL. When I flinched, she said "don't worry!" and kept right on. My cuticles now look terrible and it hurts to apply pressure to most of my fingers. She filed way too close to the nail on several nails so my fingers are actually sore and it's the next day. Only one actually bled, but others have micro tears. When the fingers heal, the nails will generally look fine, but it's ridiculous that it takes all that. Lastly, she messed up my thumb nail but when I asked if it'd turn out OK she said she wasn't done yet and laughed. She's done now, and the thumb is still messed up, indented from where she "fixed" it by pressing down her finger on the nail to remove excess polish. I should've left when they said ombré SNS nails would be hard for them because they "might not last as long." I've been getting that from other salons for years with no problem and I chopped it up to inexperience, but the location was convenient and I've never been hurt at a nail salon before, so I figured the stakes were low. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend you go, either.

I've been getting my nails done at Image Nail Spa for about 3 years now and I've never been disappointed in the service. I get my nails done about once a month and am always satisfied with how my nails look. I got my nails done yesterday and by Tony and he did an excellent job. They not only care about the quality of your nails but they care about their customers and how're they're doing and offer complementary sodas and water while waiting. Tony made me feel so welcome when I was at Image Nails and I'm so happy that they value their customers in that way! I highly recommend this nail spa if you are visiting Aiken or have been a resident in Aiken for years. You'll love it!!! read more

Image nails is by far the best nail salon in Aiken. I tried multiple places in Aiken and none of them took care of my nails like Tony does at Image Nails. I will not go anywhere else. Others there do a great job as well and have done my pedicures but I just prefer Tony to do my nails. He is very thorough, takes his time, makes sure my nails are perfect when I leave. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The salon and all equipment is cleaned thoroughly and well maintained. As I stated above, I will not go anywhere else. read more

I received a mani/pedi today, on a Saturday. Place was super busy, but this business knows how to run a nail salon. Never saw any customer wait for service, well staffed. My technician was Celine. She was very friendly, took her time with me, easy to talk to. I'm from out of town visiting family, and decided to try this place because of good reviews. Well they just got another one. Whenever I'm in town again and need a nail salon, I will come back to Image and Celine. read more

Timmy and Benita are awesome! I have only had my nails done a handful of times since I was 16. I am 27 now and I am addicted to going to see them at the shop and visit . Timmy does extremely wonderful acrylic nails, he has done them for me five times, twice for weddings! Benita is the master of the pedicures and they all make me feel so welcome and we have fun... Plus they do serve free wine! read more

Had nothing but good things to say about Image Nails! They take good care of the customers (complementary sodas, short wait, friendly staff), and Tony the owner is always welcoming. They just expanded the establishment as well, so it's roomy and the equipment brand new. All my friends have their mani/pedi done here as well and they love it, highly recommended! read more

My mom and I have gone to image nails for years. We enjoy going in very much. It is hard to find a good nail place that you enjoy and want to go back too. There are so many colors to choice from. All the workers are very polite and speak. I highly recommend them! read more
