As is probably obvious from the rest of the reviews, Drew and Leo (D&L) have found a winning formula for moving. Our engagement started with getting a quote from Drew which was a great process. He quickly came to our place and was able to spec out the move in a clean and simple way. Later that night he provided a plan/quote that worked well within our somewhat difficult/constrained timeline. Overall going into the move we were very happy, but still somewhat apprehensive. We knew we had some very challenging disassembly/reassembly/packing and we weren't sure what issues we'd run into. On the day of the move, we got Frankie's team (who has been mentioned quite a bit in other reviews). I have to say, they are truly exceptional. They worked through our complicated move going to multiple locations like it was no big deal. They were polite, they were trustworthy, and they treated our belongings with the utmost care. We watched them pack up our kitchen in about 1/10th of the time it would have taken my wife and I. They also moved some extremely challenging furniture. They helped us Tetris everything into our storage unit, and they were just generally supportive/positive. We ended up having such a positive experience we used them for another move a few weeks later which was a little less challenging. This time we got a smaller team (just Frankie and Santiago) and I was initially a bit concerned as there was some pretty heavy lifting for just two people, but they nailed it down no problem. In the end when it came time for payment they were honest and fair about the work they did, broke down how/why it was charged the way it was, and made sure we were happy. Even that was a good experience. I truly wish before this move happened that I would have known how easy D&L was going to make it. There was a lot of stress and a lot of worry leading up to the move that would have been eliminated entirely if I had just known how good these guys are. My wife and I have moved quite a bit, but we'll always use D&L for all of our future moves. If you're moving and you have the opportunity to book these guys, do yourself a favor and do it. The type of company Drew and Leo are running here is something that comes around pretty rarely. They've got the right formula, the right people, the right morals/ethics, and they're very good at what they do. D&L moved us from the Bay Area to our new home in Oregon this past summer. Smoothest move ever! These guys are awesome. I highly recommend them. Before calling D&L we had called several of the major national movers. They were all very expensive and told us that once the furniture was loaded up, it would take at least five days to move it to Oregon. We were becoming discouraged. Then we called D&L Movers (Drew and Leo). Drew scheduled the move in advance to fit our time frame. He came over to the house to see what we had to pack and move, and he indicated that once the truck was loaded, they could get to Oregon overnight. They use a smaller truck so it would just be our stuff in the truck. He quoted us a very reasonable price, including packing, moving, and unloading -- and he guaranteed not to go over that price. And he stuck to his word! On the first day of the move D&L packed all our things. It was a huge job because we'd lived in our house for many years. The packing team was totally efficient, professional, and fast. Thanks, Crystal, for packing all our dishes and kitchen utensils so carefully. The next morning Drew, Leo, and team arrived to load everything into their truck. We have lots of heavy furniture, including large bookcases and a piano. The team of five guys worked together extremely well; they were fast, efficient, helpful, and very careful. Drew directed the team and Leo is a genius when it comes to packing everything into the truck. They were done in four hours and on their way to Oregon. On the morning of the third day we greeted Drew, Leo, and Joseph at our Oregon house and they proceeded to unload the truck and place everything in its proper place in our new home. They made sure all the furniture was exactly where we wanted it, the wardrobes were brought in and we emptied them so they can be used again (saving us some money), and the packed boxes were placed in order in the garage for easy unpacking later. The guys were extremely careful about protecting the doors, walls, and rugs in our home, and treated all our belongings with great respect and care. They were done by mid-day and heading back to California. Everything in this move went as planned. The movers were on time, they worked together extremely well; they were friendly, helpful, easy to work with, and their quote was spot on. We are totally impressed. Our late-Sept 2015 move from Gilroy to Aromas involved enough for at least three families. We had a 2-story 4-bedroom house with a 3-car garage that you literally could not see the floor in. Also at least 50 potted plants ranging up to very large sizes and an assortment of other yard items small and large. The thought of moving was overwhelming and I had no idea what moving company to pick, so I started reading reviews on the internet. My first pick was D&L movers, but I was planning to also interview other companies. I'm a skeptical person and also not easy to please, so I really did not expect anything near the level of satisfaction I had with this move. No move is fun, but this one came close due to the amazing attitudes of all involved. First off, since it was a big job, Drew Sanchez came by to look everything over before quoting the job. My wife and I were both impressed with Drew's friendliness, professionalism, communication skills, and obvious experience. We hired D&L on the spot to do both packing and the move. On packing day a team of 10 showed up right on time and completed all packing and organizing in an amazingly short time. These men and women knew what they were doing! Even better, all seemed like they were truly happy to be working, and visited with us as well as each other while they did their jobs. I really regret that we did not get everyone's names but they were awesome and really knew what they were doing. Bright and early next morning, another 10 guys with 3 trucks. They were even more impressive than the packers (I think some of them were also on the pack). By now we had wised up and asked for names, so a HUGE THANK-YOU to the Moving Team: Nikko, Freddie, Zach ("Red"), Bernie, Hayden, Tony, Daniel, Manny, Matthew, and Victor. You guys truly are rock stars! The moving team literally worked 12 hours straight, eating on the way to the unloading, and finishing after 9:00PM. Moving can normally be a horrible experience, especially when you do it yourself. Aside from moving myself one time (that's all it took!), I have used a professional moving company on three previous occasions. I was never really happy with the service, other than not having to do it myself! In July I had my largest and last move. I moved locally, but it was a combination of two homes into new construction. I was referred to D&L movers. One of the best calls I ever made! I spoke with Drew (owner) and had a wonderful experience. With a home under renovation, move in dates often change. I must have switched dates on Drew 3 times. Each time I called he was helpful/polite/pleasant. He stayed in contact with me and he called back when he said he would (WOW-great customer service). Drew told me he would make it work to get me in my home as soon as possible. Using his company made the move itself effortless. Fast forward to moving day. The entire crew was professional, courteous and friendly. They were fast, efficient and cared for my belongings as if they were there own! When they arrived at the first destination (Storage), I received a phone call from Drew saying an item appeared to be damaged. He told me he wanted to take a photo and send it to me so that I knew it was not damaged by his move. I thought to myself -WOW- that is pretty over and above!! I had such a good rapport with Drew, I refused the photo knowing he was a very honest businessman . I did not doubt his word for a second. When they arrived at my home. I noticed that they had re-wrapped items that they felt were not protected enough (from the 1st move-by another company). They made sure my home was protected with blankets and what ever else was needed. The crew put together and hooked up any item to its full completion. They move was super fast!! Service started on March 30th 2021 final move was 07/06/21 . I hired Northern Moving to move my house contents and car from Springfield MO to California. The move date which was initially the 25th got moved by them to the 30th which we mutually agreed to. I was quoted by Northern one price then contacted about price change with assurance I will be reduced the price on the back end if the new estimate was inaccurate. At the time they didn't mention they would subcontract the work out. They botched job which includes damaged and stolen merchandise as well as threats and demands by the subcontractors for the furniture, including losing my items for days in transport, refusing to give me the storage location. They overcharged for the move, I was threatened by the car company subcontractor they used to move the car. The furniture subcontractors illegally moved my items from one state to another with no address on books, There were at least 3 subcontractors involved in this. The subcontractors put me under the gun with a new person who botched the paperwork from move to the first storage. The supervisor told me it was his first move and even had to contact his supervisor. When I told him the paperwork was wrong and I was by this time over the barrel they threatened to leave my stuff behind unless I signed it. the house was sold I had a plane ticket the next day. Coach their subcontractor, moved my stuff from one storage to another illegally. They refused to disclose address after losing track of my items for 11 days so I could check on it once they finally located my items. They only disclosed it the day before moved me to my current address. Then another company DL moving company moved my stuff here who is another subcontractor. And they wanted me to sign they delivered my items in good order. I refused. My items are damaged, stolen, and vandalized to the tune of over $32,000.00 not including my pain and suffering. I want them to pay it all and refund in full. read more

I just used D&L Movers to move out of my apartment in Campbell into a storage unit. Let me just say that I HATE moving and had to get it all done by myself for the first time in my life and Drew and Leo made the experience so much more manageable! I had called around a couple places that were way over priced and when I called Drew after finding them on Yelp, I could just tell it was going to be a really great experience. Both guys are EXTREMELY personable and trustworthy and they deserve every one of these five stars. They were professional, easy to work with, and super professional even when we had to change all our plans last minute. We ran into a bit of a crisis when we drove over to my storage unit and realized it was WAY too small. Leo got right on his phone and found the closest facility that was open on a Sunday (because of course mine was closed). I followed them over there and Leo had already jumped out of the truck and was getting the process started in the office before I had even gotten there. I recently moved with this company, after contacting several 5-Star companies and comparing their approach. I initially talked to Drew. he provided me with a very reasonable number of hours for packing and moving, and did not try to underestimate the amount of work, and to get a job based on a lower cost. Another factor that played an important role in our selection, was the number of movers that they allocated to the job (5 guys). these guys showed up onetime, and did a great job at packing and moving our stuff. They were very nice and friendly. They kept their masks on regardless of the hot temperature. They were very careful with the house that we moved out and the house that we moved in, and did their best to minimize casualties. they also did a great job dismantling and re-assembling our furniture. I even asked them to move things around and changed my mind about the original location, and they accommodated it. a few minor things that they can improve on, was some carelessness during the packing. for example, they had packed a pair of shoes in the box that they had put our bedding. they also missed some minor items in the house. This was a difficult & stressful move as it took place over the holiday season, involved a stage one packing & moving to storage while our house went on the market. Our home sold in six days & we had yet to purchase a home in Orange County. Finally, six weeks later after finding a home, the move to our new home began that consisted of a second packing, removing items from storage, packaging the remainder of the house & hauling a very expensive motorcycle. We used D&L Movers for our move from San Jose to Arnold, CA. Of the three movers we contacted Drew promptly returned our phone calls, came out quickly to give us an estimate and was by far the most professional and trustworthy of the group. His price was extremely reasonable and much better than the other movers we contacted. On the day of the move, Leo and his crew arrived exactly on time (actually five minutes early) and made the move process easy and quick. They were friendly and very efficient. They took great great care in packing our items. The same was true at our destination. When I was looking for a moving company, I called D&L Movers and spoke to Drew on the phone. He was friendly and accommodating and made sure to explain everything that I needed to know. When Nico and his crew came on moving day, they were on time and incredibly friendly. They made sure to ask questions and even had wardrobe boxes for my clothes on hangers, so I didn't need to pack those before hand (and they didn't get wrinkled, which was a bonus). There is a reason I called D&L for the second time as the first experience was so professional (see my previous review) that I knew I could "count on them to help me with my small move" I was happy to see Frankie again but then to meet Nikko and Zack was a pleasure. All I had to do was rearrange bedroom sets in my house, but I was nervous because I didn't know exactly what I wanted to accomplish. These "boys"/men not only AGAIN professionally moved all these sets upstairs and downstairs but gave me ideas on what would look better in which bedroom. Wow! Just Wow! I moved out of my home of 43 years into a condo. As a new widow I was concerned about turning my belongings and my move over to just anyone. My RE Agent recommended D&L Movers and they couldn't have been better. Because they charge by the hour, there was no possibility of misunderstandings over cost or additional "costs or fees" tacked on at the end. They were prompt, polite, efficient, and personable. They even set up my computer and electronics for me. The entire move was done in FOUR hours (It was a very close-by move). I decided to use their packing service the day before and the ladies were also prompt, efficient and personable. This experience was as close as it can get to stress-free. A big thank to my moving crew Jose, Frankie and Santiago. These guys worked so hard for us. Our move was a big one across three different locations from the South Bay to the Peninsula. The crew started at 4pm and we wrapped up at 10pm. Jose, Frankie, Santiago got along so well with my wife and I, we even offered them some good Chinese take out and shared a meal together. There was a bit of miscommunication during booking but Drew and Leo the two owners REALLY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAYS to make sure my wife and I were more than satisfied with their services. You don't need to worry about your move with Drew and Leo. We have a lot of high end furniture and artwork that needed to be moved to Reno from the bay area. I found D & L on yelp and couldn't believe there was a mover with all 5 star ratings. I checked out the other ratings, and they all seemed legitimate, so I went with them. Drew came out, looked at my stuff, gave me a flat rate bid. I wasn't able to be at the old house on moving day, so I just left a key for him with instructions on what to move. He arrived at our new house exactly when he said he would with everything we wanted moved. His crew literally laid out the red carpet (runners) and moved I all our nice furniture and art without a hitch. I hope anyone with high end items will trust their move with Drew and Leo, they are real pros. read more
