We had a great experience with Omar and his 3-man team during our move from a 3 bedroom house to a 4 bedroom house. Omar clearly communicated what to expect beforehand, pricing was starightforward and fair, and the moving team were efficient and responsive. I appreciated that the team handled my items with care and were careful going around corners. I also have a large collection of potted plants and the team moved everything carefully. My undertanding is that many movers do not move plants, so I was overjoyed to have everything moved in one day. Omar and his team made my move so easy. I will definitely recommend Carry On Moving to my friends and if I need to move in the future, I know who I will call. read more

We had a great experience with Omar and Ben from Carry On Moving. They helped load our POD storage unit, including an upright piano, and handled every item with exceptional care. We were especially impressed with how efficiently they packed the POD, making excellent use of the space while making sure everything was secure and well protected. Their pricing was very reasonable and competitive compared to the other quotes we received. The team was professional, efficient, and careful throughout the entire process. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again when it's time to unload our POD. We highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, skilled movers. read more

I scheduled a move that was 19 miles away from the current place that I was renting so I requested quotes from Yelp. Omar reached out to me and let me know the breakdown of the quote that he provided me through yelp and through phone call. He was very responsive and communicative. He also gave me a reasonable quote on the project that I want accomplished and so I chose to work with them. I scheduled with Omar through the phone. The day of the move, there were 3 movers (per my request and Omar's recommendation). Although Omar was not present there, he was still very communicative and would check in with me and how the movers are doing throughout the process. The movers were quick and careful with our items. We did not have any damaged items. The move from a 2 story house (3 rooms) to another 2 story house (3 rooms as well) took about 5 hours and 48 minutes (including 30 minute travel time). I would recommend this business for future moves. read more

Did a great job on our small office move. Omar communicated well through the Yelp app, and both guys were helpful and flexible in terms of making an extra stop to pick up a table, disassembly and re-assembly, etc. Thank you Carry On Moving! read more

Carry on Moving was the only Moving company that was willing to help me move from a 4 bedroom, 2 story house to a one story! I was shopping around Wednesday afternoon and everyone was booked -- but when I spoke to Omar, I felt like he was trying to understand my situation and help me figure out what was best and if they're able to fit me in! They had everything done on such a short notice! I can't thank Omar and his incredible team enough. As soon as the garage opened, Omar did a walk through with me and asked what needed to be packed and placed in their truck to move into the new house. I easily felt comfortable because you can feel his professionalism but also his extra care in willing to help you get the job done. As every moving company, they charge hourly-- with that said, before hiring Carry On, I was able to get pricing and full detail as to what could be done, how, and how much time should I account for. This move was extremely easy as Omar brought himself and 2 crew members who quickly started moving and taking things down for me. (Tv mounts/bed frames/mattresses/shelves, everything!) I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger because they do pack and seal everything you need them to. They also very much handle with care and ask you for reassurance to take what is needed. When moving my things into the new home, they were kind enough to place everything where it should be (Dining room, kitchen, rooms) extremely grateful they break things down to fit in the U-HAUL and set it right back up in your new place. They build bed frames, my huge dinner table, and placed everything properly. Lifesavers! They are always moving, on the go, and making sure no time is wasted. Thankful for Omar and his crew today because I don't know what I would've done without them. 10000/10 recommend! read more

These guys were great! Omar and Ben helped move from my 1 bedroom in Oakland to a house in pleasant hill. They were kind, responsive, efficient and overall hard workers. Would hire them again in a minute! read more

My hub waited until the last minute to call a mover (I KNOW), and Omar was prepared to move us right away. We moved from a big, three story house with 20+ years of accumulated stuff and even though we'd rid ourselves of most of we didn't want, it was still a ton of stuff to move. Omar was, throughout, caring, professional and understanding of the craziness of moving. Omar told us there would be six guys and there were six hard-working, friendly guys there right on time (10 a.m). They started work right away not stopping for much until 10 p.m. that night. They were moving us from Danville to Santa Rosa and we told them they could finish up the next day, but they wanted to complete the job. They got to Santa Rosa at about 11:30 p.m., and worked until 3 a.m to finish. No, I'm not kidding. These guys were amazing! I'm now in the unpacking phase of the move, and everything was well-wrapped, so there was no breakage - except by me, of course - I am the original klutz. They were, all-in-all, honest, hard-working and reasonably priced (especially compared to other companies). I'd highly recommend their services. read more

After a corporate relocation moving company could not come through with my desired move date I came to Yelp to find a mover that could. Omar called me as soon as I sent through the request for a quote and ran through every question I could possibly come up with. He was patient and easy to communicate with and the rate was competitive with the other quotes I had received. I am SO grateful that I decided to go with Carry On Moving, they were INCREDIBLE. Omar himself and Ben were the movers and they were so courteous, kind, and EFFICIENT. I didn't realize that my UHaul truck auto tow should be picked up AFTER everything is loaded on the Uhaul so that everything could be easily loaded using the ramp. It was too late for me to drop off the auto tow and I was so incredibly stressed, I reached out to Omar and we ran through all the larger items I needed loaded and he said no problem and they loaded everything without a ramp. I'll never forget how seamless they made everything and how much easier they made my move. I wish them nothing but the best!!! read more

I used the services of Carry On Moving three times, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Every time they were communicative, respectful, and kind. The items that they moved were much more protected than if I did it myself, and the pricing is transparent and clear, no surprises or last minute charges. Very happy (again)! read more

No hidden fees, they handled fragile older furniture with care, and were able to get a California King mattress up a very tight and winding staircase. They were fair over time calculation for pricing. Overall great work! read more

Omar and his crew were on it!! Omar was easy to communicate with and accommodated our last minute need to move. They wrap all furniture VERY carefully and I was VERY appreciative of that. They took good care of our furniture and belongings. They didn't break, damage or ding ANYTHING- amazing!!! I recommend their services!! read more

If I could give them more than five stars, I would!!!! Omar and his crew did an amazing job! He was very thorough in his communication, very polite, very kind and humble took his time to organize and put my stuff in the truck. Him and his crew were very respectful and we're taking extra good care of my furniture to make sure nothing happens to it. Him and his crew went above and beyond. I have never seen a moving company or moving service that has done this much and in this manner. His price is very reasonable compared to the amount him and his crew go above and beyond. He even brought wrapping stuff as well as straps to help me with my travel. I cannot thank him enough for all the help him and his crew have provided. They were very quick and very thorough. Thank you guys for doing such an amazing job! If I'm ever in this area again, I will definitely be using them! Give them a call. You will not be disappointed! read more

I decided to go with Carry On moving after Omar contacted me and provided me with quotes. His rates were very reasonable. On the day of the move he and his team showed up to my place, they were a couple minutes late but called me ahead of time and let me know. Omar and his team did a great job. We had packed most of our items but whatever we didn't pack was handled by Omar's team very efficiently. They were careful with our belongings and careful when loading our furniture into the new house as well. The communication was great and they were very efficient. I highly recommend Omar and his team, they're did a great job. read more

Omar was amazing to work with! He was incredibly responsive in getting a quote and appointment set up to move. Omar, Camille and team did amazing work today. They responded so quickly for my request and had the team at our location same day within an hour. We could not have stayed on our deadline without the team. We appreciate all the work the team did. Would use again for future moves. read more

I would choose Carry On Moving to do my moves over and over again!! Omar was extremely communicative and transparent about price which was more than reasonable! My two movers were extremely polite and did not waste a second, they moved so fast I was amazed! And despite their speed, they took the time to wrap everything that needed protection and handled all my items with care! I had a very large cabinet that I knew would be struggle to get down an elevator, but my movers did it with ease and without complaint! If you are looking for movers, I wouldn't recommend any company like I would Carry On Moving! read more

My daughter needed to move to her new apartment in Stockton from Vallejo within three days to start college. Omar was very quick to respond and gave the best rates in the area. We were able to set up a moving date within the timeframe. On moving day, Omar and his partner moved efficiently and handled everything with care. Upon arriving to the new apartment, they even set up our things perfectly. They were so kind to us and made the process as stress-free as possible. I would definitely use their services again and would recommend them to anyone else that needs to move! read more

Omar and his staff got the job done! The price was fair and would use them again in a pinch.

We had a great experience with this moving team. Great price for the service provided.

Omar and his team were the best! They responded lightning fast to provide me my quote, communicated well before, during, and after the project, were VERY careful with my belongings, and also very conscientious about their time on the job. Omar was very customer focused, followed best practices for the moving industry to a t, and was overall, a pleasure doing business with. I really hope I don't need to move for a long time, but if I do, I'll call Carry On! read more

Omar was thoughtful, came prepared and made me feel comfortable during the in person walk through.

Great company and also great people. They helped me move from our 2br apartment to another 2br apartment and they were the lowest priced out of all the moving companies I got quotes from. They were on time and super friendly as well as hard working. I'll definitely use them if you need to relocated and need a moving company. Thanks once again! read more

Huge fridge, tiny kitchen problem. These guys saved the day with a same-day move. Omar responded right away. The only company of four to respond. I called him around 8:30 AM and by 5 PM he had five guys at my place and they quickly moved the fridge outside for pick up. When delivering the new fridge, Home Depot refused to move the old fridge out the window ( they had moved it in the window in 2006 when they sold me the old one.) I only found this out when they arrived. If I'd known that in advance, I would've hired movers to move it out in the week that I was waiting for Home Depot to deliver my fridge. read more

Moving is always a stressful experience especially when you have kids that come with a lot of stuff. We booked a moving company to help us and they canceled a few days before. So I came across Omar and his team in my search and they were very helpful and reliable with their booking. They showed up when they said they would and they took great care of our things as well as assembling/disassembling some furniture with us. With all the pressures that come with moving, Carry On Moving made it a lot smoother on our family. read more

Omar and his team did a wonderful job moving our 2 bedroom unit. They helped us disassemble and reassemble our larger furniture like the beds and brought plenty of padding to make sure nothing was damaged. Moving to an upstairs unit can be more difficult, but Omar's crew handled it without a sweat! Everything was reasonably priced, and he was very responsive to messages both in Yelp for the initial quote and subsequent questions. read more

Hired carry on moving to help my partner and I move in the Sacramento area. The movers were quick and efficient, communicative and effective. Everything was done super fast and we are so happy to have chosen them! read more

Farouk and Idall (sp?) were super professional, efficient, and very friendly. You could tell that they really cared about delivering the items with care. We had them move a heavy bed and they did it perfectly, wrapping it up with care. They also asked questions- even if it was okay to take a street route rather than the freeway so the bed would get jostled so much in the moving van. They asked if they could do anything else for us while they were at our house. A great team and the pricing was less than any other movers. Thank you! read more

Omar was a breeze to work with. Everything was easy - communication was clear and transparent. Price was very reasonable and movers were polite and careful with our belongings. I will happily book them in the future for our next move! read more

Omar and Aydar did an amazing job packing up my place and moving everything into storage. They accommodated my last-minute request to come a day earlier and arrived prepared with all the materials we could possibly need! They were very careful with the furniture and fragile boxes, and everything was nicely wrapped and strategically stored in the moving truck for easy unloading. I also appreciate how organized they stored my belongings in the unit. Their prices are transparent and fair for the level of detail and work they put in - I showed Omar the place over FaceTime a day before and his estimate was very accurate. Omar and Aydar worked tirelessly in the 100+ degree heat but did not once complain and had a very helpful and productive mindset. Nice to know: Make sure to have a lot of cold bottled water ready for Omar and his team, especially on a hot day! read more

The team was friendly and did well for the most part. The thing that has me upset was that the truck was not big enough to get my belongings moved - I ended up having to take things in my car as well to put it in storage with the rest of the belongings. They were not able to take all the furniture that I had requested them to take. The other big thing that I am upset about is that several of my furniture pieces were taken apart. Some of them have missing parts now since they were not all kept together. And one of my credenzas had a broken leg which was not reported to me at the time of the move. I only found out about it as I was putting it back together. Not sure I would recommend them or use the service again. I'm very upset at the state of the damaged furniture post move. read more

Amazing crew! Omar was very responsive and very professional. His crew were also very nice and respectful. They took care of our needs and made it less stressful than it should be. Omar and his teammate were excellent and professional the whole time. They moved my heavy furniture carefully and made sure all of it was protected. I couldn't have asked for a better team! Omar and his team were very thorough and effective in our move. They carefully wrapped and carried all our items in and out of the house. His team made sure everything was carefully packed and transported safely. He was very communicative about the move and upfront about prices, which were better than the rest. His honesty is what separates him from the competition. Thank you again for your service! read more

Omar responded quickly via Yelp quotes that went out and was satisfactorily communicative throughout the process. He was upfront about all costs (know that there is double driving time and an extra fee if stair flights are involved). Reasonably priced overall. On move out day, he and his partner were timely, efficient, and expedient without being reckless. They were careful to wrap and happy to assemble products that were previously disassembled. Damage to homes and furniture usually occur during move ins and move outs and I'm happy to say they took care to not damage on either end. Would recommend if you're looking in the East Bay. read more
