I had a great moving experience. I was worried initially that this company has few reviews, but I selected them because they had great pricing and good communication. They did a long distance move for me from the Bay Area to Central California, a five hour drive. The movers (Alex and Victor) worked hard to wrap my items so they wouldn't get damaged, and they moved furniture around my apartment carefully as to not bump the walls. They put a lot of time and care into their job. They kept me updated on the time of arrival to my final location. All of my items arrived unharmed and accounted for. I will definitely move with them again in the future. read more

I contacted Cali Handy Moving after seeing 5/5 reviews which was rare to find with other companies. I had a very strict budget and they made sure they come up with a solution to work around it which was something I did not find with other companies. John especially went above and beyond to offer me options and personally came to meet us after which I instantly trusted him! On move day, the movers arrived right on time and were very efficient and made sure everything was packed in 3 hours! This is a new company and they truly care about their clientele. I wish them all the success hereafter! read more

Fred, Zala and Firuz helped me with a full day of moving. They were so kind, respectful, and helpful and took care of all of my stuff with great attention to detail. My move was a bit complicated and the guys were patient and had fantastic attitudes, even in the 100+ degree heat of the day. We went from two locations to take various furniture pieces to storage. When we arrived at my storage, the guys rearranged all of the storage items already there so the furniture pieces would fit. Then we went to move the rest of my stuff. It was complicated because one of my family members still has all of her stuff in the house. They were careful to only take my items, and when we arrived at my small apartment, they carefully unpacked and organized it all. I even have a newer fancy french door fridge that could not fit through the door. They carefully took it apart and put it back together with ease. It was a long day in the heat, but the guys were amazing and I could not have completed it without them. Thank you! read more

100% recommend this business! My wife and I got married and moved 2 days later. They had a great price and great reviews so we decided to use Cali Handy moving. Osman was super nice and professional on moving day. We had 2 pickup locations and they showed up ready to rock and worked until the job was done. None of our fragile things were damaged and they took care to wrap all of the furniture. It made our move so stress free. read more

I had John and his team come out for a full day move of our 5 bedroom home. They did such an amazing job. John was extremely courteous and did a great job packing EVERYTHING into their big truck. I was very impressed with how careful they were with our items -- Every single piece of furniture was carefully wrapped to prevent any damage. They worked very fast and they worked very hard. We were able to complete the job on time. I am overall very happy with the move. I will definitely hire them again for future moving. read more

Paid for their services recently. I chose them over a less expensive services bc of their reviews. Everything seemed fine until the end. They were polite and seemed efficient. I packaged and organize everything so the only thing they needed to do was load, transport, and unload. And that's what they did. I even had a couple personal carts they used for part of the job. One of the movers said my prep saved them about an hour and a half. When we got to the drop off, they got a little sloppy with handling my items at the end, but they got the job done. One mover discounted the service and said I can use the difference for the tip. I thought he was kidding, but I gladly offered a tip. The mover counted the money and said the tip isn't big enough. HUH?! So, here's the thing about tips. They're EXTRA. It's gratuity. Meaning a token of gratitude that you should be grateful to receive. You're not entitled to it. If you think the hundreds of dollars you charge for doing the basic job of loading, transporting, and unloading isn't enough, then charge what you think your work is worth. Don't give a discount. Just charge the price! And certainly don't try pressuring customers into giving you more tip money. It's WILDLY unprofessional. Also, a man pressing a woman for more money while alone in a home is a problem. This is my first time hiring movers and trust, it will be my LAST time working with them. read more

John and his team did a great job for us. John was really easy to communicate with, he put me at ease that everything would be professional and taken care of. They arrived on time, worked really hard and efficiently and carefully. When we ran into damaged items in our storage unit (due to bad conditions in the unit), he was offering many solutions to solve the problem to make the situation less horrible and wanted to do whatever was needed to accommodate my wishes given the unfortunate situation. He ended up giving me a discount to take the items to the dumpster due to the unfortunate damage from the storage unit. They were really great, I would highly recommend them for any type of moving job. read more

Jon was kind, honest and very responsible. He moved my (2 bedroom approx) contents over 300 miles from Bay Area to Central CA Coast. The one thing to improve is if the moving team could pay attention to labels on boxes because I have a block of contents all mixed together. It's raining hard and Im having trouble pulling out boxes in search of basics for my first few days. Having trouble finding things. So hire Jon! He's great! Work together to land in more organized manner. read more

We hired CALI Handy Moving for a local move from a 3 bedroom home. They did a great and efficient job for a good rate. They also were kind enough to help move things into different places in our apartment when we had miscommunicated or changed our minds about placement. I would hire them again! read more

We always thought that moving was stressful and that you can never be 100% prepared for it. In the past, we tried moving without using professional services, and it was a disaster. This time, I decided to give movers a chance because I had much more stuff, and we were moving from house to house. A couple of companies reached out to us after we posted a request on Yelp, but CALI HANDY MOVING, especially Tohir, was unbelievably professional. He asked me a lot of important questions about the types of furniture I have, and after our conversation, I felt like our belongings were in very safe hands. When the moving day approached, the guys were on time. They packed all our furniture with blankets and wrapped them in shrink wraps. You could tell they were professionals even by the way they wrapped things. They were quick yet gentle, which is very rare. They stayed until late to make sure everything was unpacked and in the same condition. I am not scared of moving anymore because, with them, my day went without stress, and I felt like I moved to the new house in the blink of an eye. read more

Russell and Camilo did a great job. They were fast and efficient and very professional.

I was in a bind, and needed movers last minute due to another company's poor service. I called John at Cali Handy Movers and he quoted a very fair price to move me and my family across the country. His team showed up and within a couple hours they'd packed my home up and had it loaded. Other moving companies quoted me outrageous prices with unbelievably long delays to get my items to me. John and his team drove across the country from California to Georgia in TWO DAYS. They arrived bright and early and had the truck unloaded within 2 hours. I can't thank his team enough for the great work, and I'd highly recommend Cali Handy Moving to anyone seeking a local or long distance move. read more
