So impressed with this service from start to finish. I requested a quote on yelp and they quickly followed up with questions that helped us narrow down exactly what I needed and how much it would cost. The day before the move they called the buyer (me!) and the seller to give a three hour window when they'd pick up and deliver the piano. On the day the seller and I were both impressed by how professional, thorough, and courteous the movers were. Highly recommended. read more

I bought an upright piano from a local piano store and they used Encore Piano Moving to deliver the piano to me. Everything worked seamlessly and I was notified by phone the Friday before my Monday delivery of the 3 hour delivery time window. The delivery team was nice and very helpful. read more

Encore offered fair rates. Their team came on time and were very careful during pickup and delivery. Great experience overall.

Good service. Movers were professional and polite. They handled the piano with care. Our piano was covered and secured in the truck after they carefully loaded it in. We feellt very safe about the piano. Would recommend anyone looking to move an upright piano read more

I wanted to wait until my upright Yamaha U3 reached its final destination in 1 piece before writing this review. I have to say I highly recommend Encore Piano Moving. I contacted several piano movers and Encore offered the most competitive pricing. I needed this piano to be moved from Gilroy to Roseville which is about 200 miles in distance. Some movers did not transport this far or they charged way too much. Encore sent over a crew of 2. They were very professional. This move is during Covid 19 Pandemic and they kept there distance when approaching us and also wore masks which I appreciated. Piano arrived in exact condition it was picked up without a scratch. This was a stress free and easy experience. read more

Encore Piano Moving - Encore team picking up my piano... - Piano Services Near Me - San Jose, California

We had thought we were going to have to move the piano to Southern California ourselves, and were delighted to have found Encore Piano Moving. They were polite, careful, and efficient at both ends of the move. And very reasonably priced. read more

Quoted me $1250 to move a piano 10 miles, granted up some stairs. But. Yeah. No. I'd sell it before that.

Absolutely Fantastic. Encore moved our 96 year old Bösendorfer (~5'6") to the 3rd floor of our home without a hiccup. John and his 3 man crew (4 total) were very professional. They talked out their plan and then worked as a team to get the piano up 38 stairs. And these were not just plain straight stairs... several tight corners and some treads that were in need of repair. All done perfectly. And the staff at Encore were very nice and accommodating. Many thanks from us to you. read more

These guys showed up exactly when they said they would and had our piano strapped in and loaded so fast!! It arrived safely at our destination in a timely manner and the two gentleman (Frank and Chris) were polite, professional, and extremely efficient. The price quote was more than reasonable and they were quick to respond. I would definitely use Encore Piano Moving again if need be and I highly recommend them! read more

Responded quickly to my request and day of finished taking in and dropping off the piano within a time span of less than 10 minutes!

Encore Piano Moving was excellent to work with! From my first email/call communication was prompt and easy. They were on time and picked up my piano at our old address and delivered to our new address in perfect condition! I highly recommend Encore! read more

Encore Piano Moving - Baby Grand - Piano Services Near Me - San Jose, California

I used Encore for moving a piano across town and experienced multiple delays, resulting in the actual delivery being 5 days after expected (I hope, delivery hasn't occurred yet). I first messaged the company several days before the expected move, providing the date, addresses and phone numbers for both pick-up and delivery. This was confirmed, but nobody called me the day before to provide a pick-up time window. The day of, I called and was told that I was actually not put onto the schedule for that day. The owner was nice enough to squeeze in a pick-up that day, but the delivery would have to be the next day. The next day, nobody showed up to deliver the piano. I called again and was told that the piano would not be able to be delivered until the following week, the earliest date being 5 days after the original date I had expected to pick-up and deliver the piano. Do not work with this mover unless you are willing to call to confirm and re-confirm the move details. Pricing is cheap, but you must be willing to tolerate delays. read more

We purchased a used piano and needed to find a piano moving service to bring the piano to our home. I found encore piano moving on Yelp and contacted them right away. I reached their voicemail at first but they called right back and we were able to book a date for them to move the piano. Communication was great! They called me and the person I purchased the piano from and gave us a time frame the day before the pick up. On the day of the move, they gave me a call and informed me on their ETA. Two people came to drop off the piano and they were very friendly. Of course wearing a mask and social distancing. They were great! I highly recommend Encore Piano Moving to anyone who is in search of a piano moving company. I'll definitely be giving them a call again if we have to move our piano. read more

Encore moved an upright from Alameda to Menlo Park last week.; picked up on a Sunday and delivered early AM Monday. Clean, fast and safe on both ends. Very professional...and crew Matthew and Edward. The smoothness of the whole process impressed me: from contact with office...phone call to give me a "windows" for pickup and delivery...and efficiency at their work. Remarkable. Oh...and their estimate was refreshingly low. Try 'em, you'll like 'em. Dan read more

Very quick response on yelp. The movers were very professional and kept me up to date. I would definitely recommend.

The piano made it to its location, but this company is not reliable on which day they will show up with pick up or delivery. They called the day they were supposed to come to inform they will not be showing up after multiple calls to find out when they will be coming. They also aren't as carful as I'd expect. The piano did make it and was wrapped up and it's a hard thing to move so that is why I still gave two stars. If you don't have time commitments, this company is fine. If you have a tight schedule, do not use them. read more

I just had my Steinway upright piano delivered last Friday. The movers were very professional on moving and carefully placed my piano in my house. Since Steinway has extra protection on the piano, the movers were able to carefully remove the safety locks. Super appreciate the quality and professionalism. read more

I scheduled a piano move with Encore several weeks in advance. A night before the moving date, they left me a voicemail: "there is an emergency with one of our movers we are canceling the move for tomorrow ". I understand that emergencies happen. The problem was in the way the company handled it. The voicemail was left 4 minutes before their office closing time. Nobody replied to my calls/emails that night. Nobody apologized. Nobody suggested an alternate date. For the whole night I was left in limbo. Luckily, I was able to arrange a different company at the eleventh hour. Encore people called the next day, but the piano was already moved. Avoid Encore Piano Moving Company. They're neither professional no reliable. Zero stars. read more

Very professional and did a fantastic job! On time and called 30 minutes before pickup and drop off!

I had a Yamaha delivered this week. The movers were very professional before and during the delivery. They called ahead to confirm the delivery, called me again when they were leaving to update me on their schedule. There was nothing wrong with their schedule but making sure I was informed. They made the experience easy and flawless. They were in and out in record time and everything went very smoothly. They handled the piano very carefully and took good care of my house too. I will definitely try to use them again. read more

We ordered a piano from Colton Piano before the shelter in place order. It is a weird timing when the piano was delivered but Encore Piano Moving make the process very smoothly. They practiced social distancing and they also wear gloves, masks and booties when they came in the house. They unpacked, set up the piano and they cleaned up the packaging materials as well. Can't ask for a better service with good price! We are very happy. :) read more

I tried to schedule a simple piano move with this company. I communicated with a man named Max via email and he only responded to me before if it was before 8am. We scheduled multiple days and times for the move and I gave him my contact information and addresses. I was waiting for him to arrive and didn't hear back for days. I tried to give them multiple other opportunities over 2 weeks time and eventually gave up. I called numerous times with no answer or returned voicemail. They completely lost my business. I had high hopes because their reviews were so good. If you want a move done quickly and easily, this is NOT the company to go with. Very disappointed read more

Encore piano movers did a great job moving a baby grand piano for us. We needed to store it for awhile in the garage, and then later move it its final destination. I dont write reviews often but these guys deserve it. They cared for our brand new piano and delivered it without so much as a scuff. The finish on the piano looks just as it did when it came from the craftsmen who built it. They took the time to help us try different positions in the room until we had it perfectly set. They were polite and and cared about making sure we were satisfied. Will use them again and again. read more

Encore Piano Moving helped me move an upright heavy KAWAI piano this week. During COVID a lot of movers are not available and I'm so glad that they still provide such great service. They arrived on time and moved it with care, very professional. They also gave me maintenance advice, which is really helpful for novice piano owner like me. Highly recommended read more

I rarely write a review, but I had such an incredible experience with Encore and wanted to share it! These guys know what they are doing! They moved my baby grand from a small apartment in San Francisco (with many steep stairs!) to a new location in San Jose. They were so professional and kind.
