I used D&J to install a large chandelier in my living room and a couple light switches. The technician was timely, professional, knowledgeable, respectful of property and charged a reasonable fee. I will certainly use them again when needed. read more

I had 4 Minka Aire ceiling fans which were 12 years old and each had their own repair issues. I was referred by Galleria Lighting who I purchased the fans from to D&J and their electrical work by Duncan was truly Non-pareil in terms of evaluation, diagnosis, workmanship, and professionalism. The total cost was remarkably reasonable in our era of inflationalary price gouging. I commend them without reservation or concern. read more

This company is super sketchy. The work itself was done fine, although the tech, Sam, seemed unhappy and irritated to be there. We had some light fixtures installed. The sketchy part that is that this contractor refused to give us their W-9 after we issued payment. We are required by law to obtain a W-9 for any work over $600 from all contractors from our account to prove that we issued these funds and that the contractor received this income. I called and emailed but they refused. Now it makes sense that they offer a 5% discount for cash-only payment (not even for checks) and refuses to give out a W-9 for any work over $600 (even though it is required by law) so they can avoid paying taxes. It seems unfair that they charge market rate AND avoid paying taxes, swindling money from the average American. read more

Excellent!!! Sam was on time , professional and efficient. Would highly recommend. Don was excellent communicating on Yelp and made this extremely easy. I sent pictures and fixture instructions and greatly appreciated knowing an exact price before anyone came to do the work. If you are looking for honest, professional and fair than this is definitely the place!! read more

Don was great on the phone, really sought to understand the issue with my light fixture. Duncan came in to check it out and diagnosed the issue and was able to install a new fixture for me in a flash. Great work, highly recommend. read more

Highly recommend Don & his team of lighting specialists. I spoke with Don regarding our kitchen lighting, he was responsive, understanding, and willing to work within our budget. His team stuck to the schedule perfectly, arrived on time and finished the project early. They did great work installing new lights and cleaned up well. We will be calling them again with any of our lighting needs in the future! read more

Oh my goodness. My husband informed me that our primary kitchen mood lighting light fixture was out a week before we were going to have a house full of guests for Thanksgiving. I had been in Oregon so I took him at his word and assumed we had an issue. We went to the local hardware and bought new bulbs, still didn't work. Case closed I thought, obviously we have a problem. We looked up these guys on Yelp and saw good reviews. They were very sweet on the phone and worked us in the day before the guests arrived. Sam arrived right on time, took a look at the fixture, asked all the appropriate questions (fortunately the man of the house wasn't home!) and then said, do you have a dimmer switch on one of the two switches? We do! Yes indeed we do! It's one of the cool newer ones that's barely noticeable - invisible even! ;) Sam walked to the switch, zwoop! Up the adjuster switch went, and miracle of miracles!, we had light! He didn't want to charge us and wasn't going to, but I insisted because they had worked us in to their busy holiday schedule. We got the dumb customer discount and it made for a good story around the dinner table. I'll definitely try them again when and if we actually have a problem! Embarrassing! read more

Sam was amazing. I got quotes from many different companies because it was a very challenging job. (Hang chandelier on 15 foot tall ceiling, move location 4 ft, with no attic and solid truss blocking the way. No ceiling damage and looks great! Their price was less than most and they did an amazing job. Very happy! read more

We had a couple of light fixtures that needed to be installed in some (very old) ceiling boxes, and D&J did a great job. They were prompt, easy to communicate with, and very helpful on the job. Would absolutely recommend. read more

Just had a pendant light and vanity fixture installed today. Duncan was very efficient and made sure I was pleased with the installation. Very prompt, courteous and cleaned up before he left! I'm so happy with the lights I purchased and the installation went smoothly. I will definitely call on D&J next time I have an electrical need. You can't go wrong with these guys... and very reasonably priced! read more

WOW!!!!! So fantastic. They were quick with the request for a quote on replacing an outdoor gfci outlet, they were great on pricing and when I asked how quickly we could get it done, I got a message back with "shoot me your address and we'll be right over." Duncan was here in a flash, and super polite, nice and was able to knock the job out right away. He set me up with EXACTLY what I needed and pointed out that the outlet wasn't working because the prior electrician who installed it put in an outlet that was not meant for outdoor use. Not worrying about the other electrician anymore as D&J has my business. Great small business that communicates great and DOES THE WORK.... what a wonderful concept!! Thanks guys and will be in touch in the future with any electrical needs. read more

Got scheduled really quick to come out and check out some electrical issue I was having. Day of the appointment comes, waited 30 minutes past the appointment time and no show. No call, no email, nothing. I emailed after those 30 minutes and still nothing. I'll just get a big name company. Always try to help the little guys out and they let you down. read more

I think I've found my go-to company when I need the help of an electrician. Sam arrived on time (actually a little early) and did a great job moving the light fixture over my dining room table. He also was able to help with installing a new ceiling fan wall control that I forgot to mention when I made the appointment. Their price was lower than the other quotes that I received, and was more than fair for the work that was completed. Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend! read more

I had Don and his team run electricity in my living room and install a ceiling fan and dimmer switch. Of the handful of companies I called, he was one of two that called me back. He came out to the house and gave me a quote prior to any work being done. The quote was competitive compared to the other quote I received. My wife and I went with D&J because Don was very down to earth, professional, and my wife liked how the team even greeted our dog and child upon arrival both times. From that point it seemed like a good honest family business so we went with them. The work they performed was fantastic. The living room was completely finished, but they were able to run electricity to the center of the ceiling with only cutting a very small hole to be patched. We are very happy with the work performed and have found our go to electrician for the years to come. read more

I have used D&J services, referred to me by Lamp Plus in denver, Duncan showed up on time, was very nice and professional, he is done an amazing job, I will recommend him all day long, thank you. read more

I had D&J Enterprises come and install a ceiling fan with no attic access. Not only was Sam on time, but he explained the whole process, and put in our fan in record time with only 3 tiny holes in our wall/ceiling. I joked that if I did it I would have put 13 holes. He also helped me out by installing two smart switches (and showed me where our neutral wires were and how to make the switch work) and disconnecting an old hot tubs sketchy wiring the previous owner had done. The price was on point and beat out all of their competitors! I have now recommended Sam to my family for any of their electrical needs! read more

Everyone here at this company is super helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Don and his employee Sam are the only ones I would call for any electrical needs. They were true to their word on price, and the attention to details just blew me away. I cant praise them enough. You would be crazy to use anyone else. read more

D&J Enterprises was wonderful to work with. Don responded very quickly. I texted pics of a current light fixture I wanted to update while in a store. Don was willing to talk with the store clerk as I was very confused. I was pleased with the 2 guys that came out. They installed 2 ceiling fans where they had to pull the electrical through my attic space, as well as changed out track lighting. The price was fair and $2,000 less than a bid from another company that had included only the 2 fans. I would use them again in a heart beat. Highly recommend. read more

I called D & J Enterprises to have an existing light fixture taken down and a new light fixture installed. The scheduling of the appointment was very easy and done via email. The owner, Don, is very responsive and was able to get me on their books in a quick time frame. Our technician, Duncan, was actually early (he called to let me know he was on his way), and did a really great job installing the new light. He even was able to suggest the height the light should hang from ceiling. Turned out great! D & J Enterprises will be my go-to electrical company for any future lighting projects! Pricing is fair too! read more
