Cant say enough good things about Michael. My wife and I have a fairly new home and just closed on it last year. We had came home from a walk and noticed the outlets were off in the house so I went to the breaker box and reset everything and as a result fried one of the outlets - remind you this was all on on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. I called Michael and while he seemed busy, he made time and came over immediately to fix the problem. Could not say enough good things about him - he showed me the problem and spoke me through what he needed to do before he did it. Replaced the outlet with another one he had and made sure everything else was good to go before he left. I've just found my new electrician. Thanks Michael. read more

Incredibly responsive and had honest pricing for the work we needed done after our breaker shorted out! We also had some outdoor wiring he quickly brought up to code for our new home. I'd highly recommend AM Tech Electric! read more

Great customer service at a fair price done right. I would definitely hire him again.

We hired AM electric to wire our detached garage and ensure there was enough power to run a sauna, an AC unit, and gym equipment. Mike was incredibly professional, fast, thorough, and honest. For the quality of his work the price was more than fair. I'd recommend Mike and his business to anyone, and we will certainly be hiring him again in the future. Thank you! read more

Wow Mike is amazing. We have a pond in the backyard and needed to plug several things into outlets to prep for winter. Two outlets blew. We checked the circuit box and nothing tripped. Called Mike to see if he can swing by. He said he could come by in 45 mins. He also gave me a few tips to try and see if that's the problem prior to him coming out, to save us money. One was circuit box and the other was resetting the gfci. We found that and reset it and now both outlets outside are working. Mike was only a minute away when we fixed the problem. I wanted to give him some money for his trip out but he wouldn't take it. Blown away by his kindness. We will for sure call on Mike again for any electrical issues in the future. If you need an electrician call Mike, you won't regret it. read more

We needed someone to check out an electrical safety concern at their earliest convenience and I got Michael's name from a friend. He patiently listened to our issues and concerns and (I believe) prioritized us to be seen within 24 hours. He was great with communication throughout the process (from my cold call through service completion). He was straightforward explaining our issue and his solution, at no point did I feel he was trying to upsell me. The problem is fixed, we have peace of mind. His pricing is fair for the Denver metro. I strongly recommend him; in fact, I quickly referred him to another friend. Thank you, Michael! read more

Michal was right on time. Professional, friendly, took time to explain what was causing the electrical outage. Also kind to my dog Layla who always begs for attention. I will definitely call Michal again for my future electrical needs. read more

Punctual, they're on time both times we've met (first to quote, then when they actually came to complete work). Michael gave a clear explanation of the work to be done. I wanted to add outlets in the garage, an outdoor outlet on the side of the house, and replace another outdoor outlet that had seen better days. They completed the job promptly and were tidy about it too. I don't know why it's such a challenge for some technicians/companies to simply be punctual and communicate well, but this company certainly had no problem exceeding my expectations here! He communicated with me on every issue he identified, and walk trhough with me on every step of his work. He also had to go to the store to solved an unexpected issue. Michal is a very talented electrician. His work ethics is incredible. I hired him for a full day of work at my new home which included a lot of chandelier installations, new outlet's installation and some other tasks. He is very detail oriented and did the job perfectly. Highly recommend him for any electrical job! read more

Michael did great work with installing the electrical/switch to a new bathroom exhaust fan. His price was in line with most of the other estimates that I received, but he was more confident in not needing to cut additional drywall to make it happen (he did not end up cutting any additional drywall). Also of note, he cleaned up really nicely after he was done. I am very pleased with the final result and would highly recommend him for any electrical needs. Thank you, Michael! read more

Mike is great! He responded very quickly to my request for help. He showed up at my home on time ready to identify the source of the problem, which he did in short order. Mike placed everything in a safe configuration, so I could function safely until he returned two days later to re-wire the circuit. Mike was timely and diligent. I particularly appreciated that Mike made sure I understood some very important issues, and he used clear examples. Mike is very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. If you have an electrical problem, Mike is the guy to help you. read more

Me and my family woke up to one of the sockets in my daughters room smoking. After calling the fire department, Mike came right away. He fixed the socket in less than an hour. Once he left I realized there was no power in two of my bedrooms. Mike came right back and did a test to find the breaker for the bedrooms were bad. He purchased what he needed and fixed the breaker also. He was professional, nice, and quick. I will hire him again if we need too. All of the work he did was $280. Well worth the price. Thanks Mike! read more

Mike is great. On time and a quality work product. He is great about telling you about how to become a better homeowner electrician. We also scoped other projects and I'll be going to him now on for my electrical projects. Don't waste your time with other yelp contractors who estimate the job off a single photo or description. Mike has a clear hourly rate and that makes the pricing much more transparent and understandable. read more

11/19/19 We used Mike once again for a bad outdoor outlet that was no longer working and needed to be replaced. Called Mike this afternoon, and had him at our house within a few hours. He asked me to take and send pictures of the outlet for him so he could analyze the problem. He called me right back and let me know what he'd need to do and also was able to give me quote. He always friendly, and provides fast and reliable service at a good price. Highly recommend AM Tech Electric for any of your electrical needs/ services! read more

Mike came out late on a holiday weekend, EVEN after having car trouble that easily would've made me say I couldn't come if I were in his shoes. My husband and I were out of the country when our tenant's power went out during a 20 degree snow storm. Xcel confirmed there was no issue on their end and literally every other electrician we called cost significantly more and was going to take way longer to get there. Mike had excellent communication throughout the entire process, including sending pics to show us what was wrong and where to locate things in the future. I would suggest you hire him for any electrical issues, I certainly will be again the next time we need an electrician! read more

I called a half-dozen electrical service companies about an issue with my microwave tripping the arc fault circuit breaker. Each person I spoke with told me they were booked solid into-or-through next week. When I called AM tech, Mike asked a few insightful questions and then provided some advice on a simple step I can take to (hopefully) resolve the issue. Mike and AM Tech were more concerned with my satisfaction than with the potential to make a bit of money on the service call. If I encounter future electrical issues, AM Tech will be my service provider of choice. read more

Did a bunch of work for us. Installed ceiling fan at a really high ceiling, ran an outlet for the tv and oven, hdmi through basement, replaced some of the GFI. Did all of this for a very reasonable rate. They cleaned up after themselves and were super professional. I would recommend. read more

Mounted our TV and sound bar. Put in an outlet behind the TV and ran our HDMI cables through the wall so they are hidden and behind into the media console. Also hung our chandeliers. Highly recommended. Great service. read more

Fair pricing, very quick to attend and extremely good quality job. They'll be my go to electrician here on out.

Wonderful service! Professional, knowledgeable, clean and friendly. We had smoke detectors that were beeping and one of them was in a very hard place to reach, 20 feet up! They came up and took care of the problem and replaced an old one that wasn't any good. Plus changed all batteries. Will be using them to add some electrical outlet, exchange a fan and new lighting, and other electrical jobs. We couldn't be more happy read more

Responded a good week or so later... Already had my issue fixed by then. Not sure what the deal was.

Spoke with Mike and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Had a little emergency and he was able to help remedy it. Will absolutely use them again! read more

Great customer service....Michael answered my phone call right away which is amazing compared to so many other service companies that I reach out to. I needed 2 ceiling light fixtures installed and needed them as soon as possible. Michael informed me that he could do it right away. Wow. Norbert showed up later in the afternoon and finished my jobs very quickly. Highly recommend. I am happy that I can call again when I need more electric work done. Thanks Michael and Norbert. read more

I am VERY happy with the SAME DAY service!! Arrived on time - actually a few minutes early - a rarity these days. Very fair/competitive pricing. I had a badly burnt-out/ruined GFCI outlet in my 1970's home (aluminum wiring) which had disabled two other outlets that he swiftly changed out. I have my kitchen back!! Make sure you know where your checkbook or cash is as he doesn't take credit cards. I had to tear my upstairs apart to find my checkbook while he patiently waited. Don't be like me. 10/10 recommend AM TECH! Mike is professional and courteous. A+ all around. read more

Mike and his team were great. They came out in pretty poor weather and on short notice which was hugely appreciated. They were very professional and personable. We were set up and in the hot tub by later that evening. Thanks, guys! read more

Choose AM Tech Electric! The owner, Michael, came out to troubleshoot some outlets that had stopped working. My previous electrician, as well as several other companies I reached out to, never called me back, so I was extremely thankful that Michael was responsive and able to come out within just hours of me calling him! Prompt, efficient, professional, and trustworthy. I will definitely be calling AM Tech Electric for my future electrical needs, and will be recommending them to anyone I can. Thank you, Michael! read more

Quick response and troubleshooting to resolve 2 issues we thought were related. Thanks!

We had an issue with our outlet in the garage. After a major competitor cancelled on us I went searching for an electrician who was reasonably priced and could help us out quickly. AM Tech was very quick to respond, was able to come out the same day and had the job wrapped up with and hour. The price was right within our budget! Definitely will use Michael's services again. read more

Mike and his tech Norbert were great. I absolutely would recommend AM Tech. Good prices compared to their competitors. Mike came to the house free of charge to assess the work needed around my house and took the time to answer my questions in depth. He is very knowledgeable and informative. Mike was prompt and good at communicating. He wore a mask and took his shoes off without being asked. He was fast and fixed my problem and I highly recommend using AM Tech! I'm a general contractor and he's the best. read more

Michael responded to my message very promptly and even came out the same day, when other electricians on Yelp could not make it out for at least a week. His prices are quite exceptional, as is his work. I am fairly first in electrical and was able to determine that I had two shorts in a circuit but was unable to fix them. Michael came out, and after analyzing the circuitry, came to the same determination and was able to fix things in a matter of hours. He is exceptionally courteous, professional, and has a warm personality. I highly recommend him for any residential or commercial electrical work. read more

Michael took the initiative to call me back though his voicemail happened to be full, easily communicated directions / photos / arrival status via text along the way. Was extremely polite and showed me exactly where I had screwed up in my own attempts to fix (it appears others are not always so honest / not wanting to admit their own trials and failures.. but I know I'm not an electrician and when to call for help!). Anyway it was a great experience, and I know who I'll call for future work. Outstanding service! read more

What a great Service. AM Tech Responsibilities: - Setting up two brand new AC units - Setting up all power outlets in the basement - Setting up ~30 ceiling lights - Setting up outdoor lighting I want to emphasize, while he was working in the basement, another company was finishing up my basement and Michael pointed out many errors the other company did. Thanks to him, the errors were fixed even though it was not his responsibility. Summary: Great service, including coordinating all tasks with the county to finalize the permit. Highly recommend him and his crew. read more

Looking for a responsive electrician? This isn't the company. Called 4 times, get voice mail, no call backs from messages.

Looking for an extremely responsive, professional electrician? Look no further than AM Tech Electric. Had an emergency situation with our AC sub panel (switch was arcing and smoking!). Michal was there in under 90 minutes, and had the entire sub panel and disconnect replaced in less than an hour. Pricing was very fair, and the entire transaction was smooth. Very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend. read more

In between demoing our 60's basement and dry-walling we came across some really messed up wiring with no grounding ( I do a lot of DIY but stop at advanced plumbing / Gas /Electric ) . Got in touch with Mike who came out to look that same evening and gave us a very fair price on rewiring / replacing old outlets with new up to code ones . Work was fast and efficient , price was great and so is Mike :) read more

I have used a number of electricians over the years. Michael responded almost immediately on the eve of July 4th holiday. My regular electrician has yet to respond. He promptly diagnosed the problem, replaced old smoke alarms and was incredibly reasonable for the two trips needed. His concern for safety impressed us as well. read more
