High quality work. I thought value was excellent. Had LEDs installed in my garage. Ceiling of garage is 15'.

These guys were awesome. I needed a junction box behind my old double wall oven moved so that the new oven would fit. The thing is super heavy and they were able to take it out and do what they needed to do. All in all, they did an awesome job and I would totally recommend AMP Electric. read more

The Amp Electric Team installed four ceiling lights and one ceiling fan for us on 7/8/26. They were courteous, professional and efficient. Their quote was fair and they delivered value. We are very happy with their work, and we will use them again. I am confident in recommending them. read more

They replied to my text faster than the others on Yelp (a feather in their cap). Their price was great based on what needed to be done and was done quickly with parts provided. A great quality look when done. They asked if the product had multiple options how I'd like it configured. Doing exactly what was requested in a timely manner is the reason we'd used them again. read more

I couldn't be more thrilled with AMP Electric! Issias was professional, focused and friendly. He installed three gorgeous light fixtures, their corresponding smart, motion-sensing dimmer switches as well as upgrades to my existing switches. Have had Amp out a few times and they are always prompt, professional and solve problems! Tony is a great electrician who has helped us "fix" a number of issues the builder couldn't. Well done. Will use them again when the next issue pops up. read more

AMP Electric saved my life. Literally. We hired a very bad electrical company through home advisor to do a ton of electrical work in our house and to do a panel/service upgrade. Long story short, that company did a terrible job. Amp Electric was recommended by a friend to inspect the bad electrical work and give us a good understanding of what was wrong and everything that needed to be fixed. After telling the owner what had happened with the bad electrician, he send some one to take a look at it that same day because he was genuinely concerned for our safety. Tony showed up and went through everything the bad electricians had done, and made a detailed list for us and explained to us why things were unsafe and not to code. This guy is SUPER knowledgable. They came up with a bid to fix everything, and we went ahead and I hired them to fix everything. I am so happy we did! They went through our house with a fine toothed comb and fixed EVERY hazardous problem in our house, and there were many. They discovered a lot of really dangerous situations and they explained everything to us every step along the way. When they were done, they did a final walkthrough with us and explained every part of the work they did, and they also went through and explained every detail of the invoice before we wrote them a check. Something I thought was really cool was that I overheard, on multiple occasions, the more experienced electricians teaching the apprentice about codes and best practices, and explaining why the codes are there and why they do things a certain way. It was really refreshing to hear them take the time to really help the apprentice learn through looking at our house and helping him progress through his education. AMP Electric is made up of honest, knowledgable and kind people, and they have earned my trust and respect. After seeing what they uncovered and fixed in my house, I really believe they saved my family's lives many times over. I'm so grateful to them and I will only ever call them for electrical work. There is no need for anyone else. read more

Couldn't possibly give a higher recommendation for AMP Electric. I've now had them come out twice, and each time Lee provided great communication and fair prices with his quotes. What may be even better than this is Tony (and crew's) work. Both times Tony came out he was very clear with his communication, helped to educate me, and the work was amazing. Absolutely must use them. read more

Lee is a standup guy who runs a great business. They are honest, hard working, and fairly priced. They've helped me and my clients with all minds of repairs and upgrades. They are reliable and always pleasant to work with. Aaron is my favorite contractor in any profession. He works super hard, he's efficient, he's honest, personable and friendly. Cannot say enough positive things about my interactions with Lee, Aaron and Amp! Thank you guys! read more

Can't say enough great things about their outstanding customer service since I have been using them. I had a recent issue resetting my timer mode for my outdoor garage lights. AMP Electric is great! I've used them for several years now and can only say good things. The owner, Lee, responds to phone calls quickly and gives a reasonable estimate that is the total job cost. His team shows up on time, is respectful, and does a great job. Highly recommend. read more

We have used Amp Electric on two separate occasions and have been extremely pleased with their performance...prompt, reliable, friendly & professional. During the last visit there was an issue with replacing all of our smoke alarms. One of the units didn't work properly and the crew spent an extraordinary amount of time trying to resolve it. It turned out to be a defective unit and we were not charged for any extra time on the job. We highly recommend Amp Electric! read more

Lee responded quickly and came over to give a quote for whole house fan. Installed despite some difficulties with trusses being in the way. We needed some patch repair work after installation which was done which was handled very quickly with great results Highly recommend AMP read more

The electrician responded within 30 minutes of my submitting my request. My basement bathroom light switch stopped working. I explained the issue. He provided an estimate over the phone and requested a picture is the light switch so he could have the correct color parts. He understood the urgency and added me to the following business day schedule. He arrived during the given timeframe. The work took a few minutes. He is very knowledgeable and explained the process to me while he worked. I highly recommend this company. He is very professional and communicativ read more

I was having issues with my thermostat, something I thought would be an easy fix, but it wasn't! The team at AMP kept coming back DURING A SNOW STORM to resolve the issue. For the small repair I needed for my dad's house, this company is what an electrician should strive to be. I messaged them through Yelp around 8am and the owner responded quickly. I had problems with the yelp messaging system, but Lee, the owner (I think), didn't try to blame anyone, he just wanted to get to the problem. I really liked how he handled that technical issue that wasn't actually his fault. He disclosed his fees and we scheduled an appointment for 3pm, the last call of their work day. The electrician, Michael, showed up on time, wearing a mask correctly. We identified the outlets that needed addressing and he fixed them competently. He even ensured the faceplate screws were aligned consistently, a nice attention to detail. Most importantly, one of the outlets had an "open neutral" wire. He could have simply told me that this is going to take more time than we had, but he traced back to the problem which was a serious issue inside a junction box which had shorted and burned the insulation. He corrected the problem and made it safe. On a collateral issue which was not part of the service call, a possible grounding issue, he checked with Lee, who did not recommend an expensive repair, but indicate the possible need for follow up when they had more time. The entire job took exactly one hour. I couldn't be happier with their service, price, and competence. read more

Words cannot express just how grateful I am for Chris and AMP Electric. I am a brand new homeowner (first house ever!) and you can imagine this is somewhat of an overwhelming process for someone whos always relied on a landlord to get issues fixed for them lol. I contacted AMP Electric this morning as several outlets in my kitchen had stopped working over the weekend. I kept trying to reset the breaker but then it would immediately gets tripped again. I, like many others, am not equipped to resolve my own electrical issues. So long story short, I contacted AMP and explained my issue and they were so quick to get someone out to help me. Chris arrived within an hour and got right to work. He was quick to identify the issue, explain some possible solutions and was so communicative every step of the way. He quickly resolved my kitchen issue and fixed some plugs that were in my master bathroom (That never worked) and now I have fully functioning outlets in my house (queue the hallelujah choir singing cuz thats how I feel right now). I feel so happy that I found AMP Electric! With buying a new house comes new projects so I and feel confident and comforted that I now how a go-to electrician. Now excuse me whilst I go sing their praises from my rooftop. read more

Lee was on time, I just got a quote for the work I need done and it was reasonable. we are just setting up a time for him to do the work

Tony was fabulous and took extra time to make sure everything was connected properly. He found the mistake that the last electrician made and fixed it. He also performed a few odds and ends that was not initially discussed. I highly recommend Amp electric. The owner was great and initially attempted to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone. read more

Tony recently departed after fixing numerous outlets in my residence. He possesses professionalism, courtesy, expertise, and is genuinely delightful to work with! I highly endorse AMP Electric! AMP Electric came in with a competitive quote, worked with us to make fair adjustments as unexpected work arose, and had professional and knowledgeable staff. We found AMP Electric by a friend's referral. We employed them to re-route and -wire a number of electrical outlets (due to removing a wall), running electric cable to our roof for installation of pot lights, and installation of two ceiling lights. Tony and Isaiah were polite and friendly, and thoroughly cleaned the areas they were working in before they finished work. Tony, in particular, stuck with us through some unexpected challenges (i.e., poorly done original electrical work), and patiently and comprehensively walked us through all the recommended changes. Despite some extra unanticipated labor & expenses, AMP stuck to their original quote with very fair (and minor) adjustments. Before leaving Tony revisited all the areas of work and tasks that been completed to make sure we didn't have any questions. He assured us of the 12 month warranty on all parts and labor, and that we could call any time. He and Lee even left us with contractor recommendations for other work we are looking to have done, which was much appreciated! read more

Lee was our first contact to install three ceiling fans without any existing junction boxes. Extremely polite interaction, however I thought his price was a tad high. We received a few other bids and Amp Electric was low by far!! Chris a licensed technician did the install. Very polite, professional and hard working. Very, very impressed with the final installation! Without hesitation Amp will remain our go-to electrical contact in the future. read more

Had them install some additional outlets and flood lights and they were great! Quick to respond to my inquiry and the estimates for the projects I want done were totally fair. Will use again! read more

Mike did the work at my house, and he was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The price was reasonable, as well. I was so happy with his work I requested a quote for additional work to be done in the very near future. Also, the communication with Lee, the owner (quote, scheduling) was great. He responded to me very quickly each time. read more

I was referred to AMP by my HVAC guy, who I trust implicitly, and was not disappointed! Lee was very professional over the phone and immediately made me feel that I had made the right choice. I am expecting delivery of a new wall oven and stove top, and my appliance install guy told me that my electric set up behind the existing oven was a joke and not up to code at all. (Good thing I bought the appliances during a great HD sale!) Lee sent one of his top-notch guys, Aaron, out to do the job within just a few days of my request. Let me preface this next part by saying that my wife does NOT like to deal with contractors or any "strangers" for that matter - but I was at work and she had to step in for me. Aaron immediately made my wife feel comfortable and she actually enjoyed interacting with him during the job. On top of that very important piece, Aaron did amazing work, and got everything up to code for us. We were also charged fairly for Aaron's time and expertise! We will definitely request him when we have need for future electrical work! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amp Electric for your next project!! read more

We were referred to AMP by a trustworthy source. My husband is the one who deals with this sort of stuff in the home. From my understanding, Lee was very helpful, responsive, and flexible. Our needs were met in a very timely manner. We will definitely use AMP in the future and I would especially like to recognize Aaron G. Aaron arrived to my home promptly, identified himself, and told me what he was there to do, everything my husband had already prepped me for. Aaron explained everything he was doing, he was very professional while also being kind and answering my questions about his work. He took time to speak and FaceTime with my husband since he was unavailable to be home during the process. When Aaron was finished, he gave full details of his work, explained how to use/operate each item he had worked on. Upon completion, the work area was clean of all debris and operational use of electrical work was able to be used immediately. Pricing was appropriate and explained in detail, along with AMP warranty info. I highly suggest AMP if you need electrical work! They can do it all! I am sure all employees have special skills and techniques, but we will request Aaron for any future needs! Thanks Aaron for helping us improve our space! You're the best!! read more

Very responsive. Great communication. Caesar did a wonderful job and it was very reasonable. Problem solved.

My experience with Caesar from AMP Electric was truly top notch. During an electrical panel replacement another company broke a thermostat while labeling the breakers. That company was reluctant to fix the mistake without replacing all other still working thermostats in the house. I spoke with Lee from AMP and the next day Caesar came out to help me with that single thermostat and a doorbell transformer upgrade. Now I wish I had chosen AMP for my panel upgrade, but they definitely will be my first choice in the future. read more

We needed an Attic fan motor replaced and called a few electricians and Attic fan companies and either they would not work on it or they just wanted to replace the whole attic fan entirely, came across Lee (owner of Amp electric) actually lives in our neighborhood, sent him photos of the motor to be replaced, said he can do it and exactly how much it would cost, his service people were polite and professional and finished the job timely and charged exactly what he quoted, in this current environment of UN reliability, Amp was amazing! read more

Surly technician refused to answer questions saying 'I'm a master electrician' translation: I know more than you and I'll do whatever I want regardless of what you think you need.
