I reached out to a number of electricians to get a quote on wiring my garage and figuring out what…read morethat would entail. I ran them all by a friend back in Wisconsin who's a master electrician- he confirmed that Bolton electric had fair prices for services and the services were what was required. Cory wasn't the cheapest quote, but my friend really questioned those others, as supplies were more expensive than what they were saying and pointed out either another charge is coming or they're cutting corners somewhere. Cory was very patient in working with me (quote to actual installation was about a year apart as I completed projects in sequence). He ensured everything was to my satisfaction, was very communicative, and did the project for the price quoted. It looks great (as far as electric project aesthetics matter), and it works perfectly. Earlier this year, we made a number of upgrades to our kitchen, and our design contractor…read morerecommended Zach at ZAE Electric to help with lighting upgrades. They couldn't have made a better recommendation. Zach is responsive and clear in communicating by email, which makes everything much easier. He came by and helped us think through different options for both ceiling lighting and under-cabinet lighting, and when we asked him to recommend specific products for the job, he was happy to do so. He made everything incredibly easy. The actual work turned out great. ZAE showed up when they were supposed to, did high quality work, and left the site as clean as how they found it. The lighting improvements ended up being our favorite part of the kitchen upgrade overall. Importantly, the quoted price was quite reasonable, there was no haggling needed, and there were no surprises at the end. Additionally, while working on the job, Zach gave me some pointers on things I could do myself around the house - which I found especially helpful, not being particularly handy myself. More recently, I had a couple minor issues related to some lighting work I did elsewhere in the house. Stumped, I emailed Zach looking for suggestions. Again, he was responsive by email, and he offered to stop by the house one afternoon to take a look and provide further helpful suggestions. And, unlike other contractors (especially electricians and plumbers) that I've experienced, this didn't come with an exorbitant bill just to knock on my door! ZAE does great work, and Zach is a skilled, conscientious electrician. He's also a very nice guy. Highly recommended.

I met with three electrical contractors, all master electricians. I went with William Tell Electric, a local small business located nearby in the Pinery. I'm glad I did! Not only did the owner "Tell" offered the best bid, he was on time, responsive, an expert in his craft, and completed the job in the timeline he proposed. Power was shut off for about eight hours, which we were prepared for. The permit process and inspection went smoothly. When we turned the power back on, everything worked as expected. We now have a sense of relief, knowing that our new panel is safe and reliable. I recommend William Tell Electric for all your electrical projects, both large and small. We are discussing a bathroom remodel and a hot tub installation as next projects.
