JGH helped transform our 1962 basement -- broken fluorescent lights, outdated can lighting, and non-grounded outlets -- into a modern home theatre space. He reconfigured our electrical and upgraded it to LEDs, installing them in our new acoustic tiles, installed dimmers, and brought our outlets up to code. He also removed 60+ years of old phone lines and antennae wire to clean up the mess hiding behind our old ceiling tile, and ensured old light boxes were safe and covered with plates. Outstanding job -- professional, done quickly, and a great price. He will be our go-to electrician moving forward! read more

Had a problem with flickering lights and a cackling outlet. Joey's son came out same day and replaced it. Turns out some wires had melted from overuse. Joey gave us some tips on what to do in the future to prevent the problem. Will be calling him for my future electrical issues! read more

I've been hiring Joey for all my electrical needs since 2021. He's assisted us with everything from light fixture installs, to new 240V appliance circuits, and recently a full 100A sub panel. As someone who is in the process of electrifying my home utilities, I have appreciated the breadth of Joey's knowledge and his transparency in both design options and pricing. Unlike my frustrating experiences with the big highly marketed contractor shops, Joey has never had to spend 2hrs going back and forth to his truck to call the "master on staff," nor has he hit me with upsell laden quotes that I have to painstakingly cut down. Recently I texted Joey for a quote on Black Friday, and was lucky enough to catch him at a free time. He was at my house investigating our options within 20min. He completed the work later that week and even called the morning after to make sure everything was still to my satisfaction. read more

We have used many electricians throughout our 45 years living in Denver. JGH Solutions is hands down the best! And this is not an exaggeration. As others have mentioned, we called a number of electricians and could not get anyone. On very short notice we were able to actually talk to Joey, tell him what our problems (multiple were) and he quickly was able to schedule us. He was on time, worked incredibly quickly, took care of electrical issues that no other electrician could figure out. His prices were very reasonable as well. We could tell that he also loves what he does. All pluses and no minuses. Highly, highly recommended. read more

I unexpectedly needed a different 240V outlet installed for compatibility with a new clothes dryer. I called Joey late on a Friday afternoon and he worked me into his schedule on Monday. He was very professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. I prefer to use local contractors than large companies and would definitely contact JGH solutions again for future electrical jobs. read more

Joey was incredibly responsive, communicative, and fit us in right away. He was super easy to work with, knowledgeable, and priced extremely reasonably. We genuinely prefer his approach, services, and pricing over many of the big competitors we've used in the past. We'll absolutely be using his services again and recommending him to friends and family. Thanks, Joey! read more

I had Joey and Philihp come out to help me with a few electrical items around my house. They installed a fan for me on my outdoor patio. They were able to get it installed quickly and answered all of my questions about the fan's operation. They also assisted me with adding a dimmer to an interior switch. The previous installer had installed the switch improperly, so Joey was able to correct the errors and get the dimmer working so that we could use the lights the way that we had intended. Joey even thought about one additional thing that he wanted to do on the dimmer days later and popped back over to make sure everything was perfect. Finally, Joey was able to take a look at some landscaping lighting that had been installed by the previous owners. He was very straight forward with what he thought my best next steps were with the lighting and helped me come up with path forward. I strongly recommend JGH Solutions for any electrical needs- they are efficient, hard working, and run their business with integrity! read more

We had a partial outage in our house on a Sunday morning, which impacted fridge and medical equipment. After calling multiple places that did not have availability for a Sunday visit, Joseph answered the phone directly. He was in our house within an hour ready to help. At the end, he diagnosed that it was an Xcel issue, so our saga continues. However, we will definitely have him on our speed dial next time we have an electrical need read more

Highly recommend JGH without reservations. I shorted my air conditioner wires, obviously, accidentally, and JGH came on three-hours notice to help fix the half power to my condominium caused by this fault. Joey and his son diagnosed my problem in about 15 minutes, fixed it, and alerted me to a needed upgrade to my breaker box. I was so grateful. Pricing was fair. Don't hesitate to call JGH - fast, honest, affordable. With so many companies to choose from, I'm glad that I did and have already scheduled future work. Thank you! read more

Joey and the team were great! I was in a real pinch with my AC/Furnace not getting power. Joey was the first one to get back to me, the quickest I could get an appointment, and he did it all. He was honest about our situation, what we could get by with, and what we really needed long-term, very trustworthy experience. We ended up replacing our panel and all went on-time and smoothly, couldn't have asked for better work. Highly recommend JGH Solutions for any electrical needs! read more

I reached out to JGH to help solve an electrical power issue with my built in fridge. Joey took my call right away and was able to squeeze me in the same day, despite being very busy. Joey was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk and work with. His suggestions and problem solving led to the problem being solved. I highly recommend JGH for any of your electrical needs!!! read more

Joey from JGH Solutions helped me with a electrical problem I had at my house. It was a fast visit and he was able to take care of the issue quickly. He answered my initial phone (on Sunday) call in person and was very helpful. He was able to get to the house the next day. I appreciate his help with my problem and I hope to use him again in the future. read more

I contacted JGH Solutions and one other company based on Yelp searches. The other company didn't return my call, but Joey called me back right away and offered to come out that afternoon to take care of a few small items. Then he and his son returned on Saturday to take care of some bigger issues. Joey and his son were excellent to work with. Joey explained everything he was doing, showed me why he had to do certain things, and gave me options with no pressure. He was clearly considerate about the cost of the work, too, and gave me what I believe was a very good price. I also appreciated his sense of humor, and I had a good conversation with his son about some mutual interests. Good people. So I'm happy I found this business and will call Joey in the future when I need help with electrical work. read more

I recently purchased a home and decided to change a few outlets myself. Of course, that wasn't the best idea. I tripped a breaker and wasn't sure how to fix it. Joey and his son Philip came to my house on Sunday to help me out. Not only did they fix the issues, but Joey also walked me through some of the mistakes a made while I was changing a few outlets. It's rare to find a contractor that you trust. I found my electrician moving forward! read more

Responsive, adaptable, came up with couple solutions to a not straight forward issue, and good work.

Joey was awesome! Was able to work me in at the end of his day on the same day I called! We had some breaker issues and he was able to fix the issue on the same call! I am so thankful for him and look forward to hiring him again to put in ceiling fans in our master bedroom and guest bedrooms read more

Joey is honest, reliable, fair, and kind. I purchased a 1911 home & knew there were some electric things that needed to be fixed, and he came out and checked out the whole house, fixed what needed to be taken care of, gave me good information about what could wait, helped me figure out all the odd little quirks of my house, and charged me a very reasonable rate. I'll be a lifelong customer and recommending him to everyone I know. read more

Joey upgraded my main panel and added a sub panel to my detached garage. Joey was extremely helpful in explaining different options for our older house. His prices are extremely reasonable, and he did great work and was able to minimize amount of time without power in the house. I am an engineer and he was very welling to talk about all of the work with a lot of detail. read more

I own a small landscaping company and one of my crew members cut an electrical line, much to the frustration of our customer. I called Joey, he was very nice and was able to get to the house the following day. He arrived exactly on time, stayed in communication with me the whole time, and fixed the problem quickly and correctly. My customer was happy and his customer (me) was happy! Thanks Joey, you rock. read more

Joey did an excellent job with a large job at our new house. Communication was excellent. We discussed the job in depth and he provided suggestions about how to improve on our plan as well as areas where we could save $$$. Work quality was excellent. Will call again for any future projects. read more

Joey came on short notice and provided excellent service. I had a power outage that 3 other electricians wouldn't touch that day and Joey came in and solved the impossible. Exceptional electrical work! Highly skilled, professional, and efficient. Couldn't be happier with the results!

My wife and I needed someone to come out and install outlets/power on our back patio. Joey came out to our house to take a look and had plenty of suggestions for us. He's extremely good at what he does and I trusted all of his recommendations and advice. Now we have the perfect setup on our patio for a TV, speakers, lights, etc. I'd highly recommend JGH solutions and will absolutely be reaching out again for any future electrical work. read more

I just called because my master bathroom electrical outlet wasn't working. He talked me through the solution, it fixed the problem and didn't even charge me for his help! I would absolutely call him if I have any other electrical problems! He was great! I give him 5 stars! read more

5 stars all day!! I called Joey and 8am on a Friday and sure enough he was able to swing by later the same afternoon. He was in the area but made a pit stop on the way home to help me out. I had a fried overhead light fixture that he repaired and replaced. Great value, honest and extremely friendly guy!! Will be calling him for any future needs read more

I needed someone to help me fix my daughter's garage light and opener. I had spent several days on a very confusing circuit that had 3 GFIs on it and had to admit I needed a professional. Joey is not only a very nice guy and straight shooter, he totally knew what was going on in this older house that we knew nothing about. His price was reasonable, and he was one of the occasional pleasures that one discovers on Yelp. Highly recommended! (You will see that I don't hesitate to call out bad service on some of my other reviews.) read more

Very easy to schedule and work with. Pricing was very fair. Worked quickly and did a great job. Solved every issue we had. Would recommend.

I called Joey looking for an estimate to rework a plug for a stove in a 1920's house. I needed to understand if the work was doable without a major project (you never know in an older home). He was near my home at the time I called and came by within 30 mins to scope the project for me. Lucky me! We talked through options and he provided a ballpark cost, free of charge. During the next week he iterated with me a few times over text to ensure his work met specs defined by stove vendor. He came by today and quickly completed all the work for a fair price. Nice guy, great communication, solid work, respectful of 'doing the right thing'. Will reach out again for future projects! read more

Joey answered the first time I tried to call and was able to stop by later that same day. He was very professional, and had my electrical problem sorted out in no time. I will definitely call him for any future electrical projects! read more

Super fast response and great work! Joey showed up quickly, was easy to communicate with, and was very professional. After the work was easier than he estimated we received a discount from the original quote! This was an excellent experience and Joey will be the first on our call list when we need something next time! Thanks! read more

I lost electric on a Sunday night. Monday morning I started calling electricians and ended up leaving 6 voice messages before I called JGH. Joey answered and was at my house within an hour. He quickly helped me identify where my problem was at no charge. He's on my saved contacts now for any future electrical repairs. I'd highly recommend saving your time and calling JGH before you leave messages with everyone else. read more

Called him in a panic mid day on a Monday after my pup left an ice cube on a floor outlet. He showed up 20 minutes later to take care of the burned out outlet, giving me peace of mind. 10/10 would recommend this guy!! read more

So glad I went with Joey to add a couple circuits onto my existing system. Scheduling was straightforward and he was able to work me onto his calendar within a week. He was friendly, professional, and the job was completed with a high standard of craftsmanship and safety. The job was on the fringe of something I felt potentially capable of doing myself, though what I'd have spent an entire Saturday or weekend doing (while hoping to live to tell about it), he was able to knock out in an hour. It's not often that I need electrical work done, though without question Joey is the first call I'd make and I have zero hesitation recommending him to friends, family, or the rest of you all here on Yelp. read more

Amazing service! I flipped on the evaporative cooler, and saw a spark coming from the outlet, the original outlet from 1934, and immediately unplugged it. I called JGH, he answered immediately, told me he'd be here in 20 minutes and showed up in 10. He replaced the outlet; from the spark to the completed job was less than 45 minutes! read more

Started a garage renovation, and thought I would do the electrical myself - long story short, realized I needed to call in a professional (adding 2 outlets and ceiling light wiring, on a new circuit). And needed someone ASAP, because I couldn't continue the project without it. Everything about my experience with Joey was 5 stars. He miraculously was able to make it out the same day I called him, arrived when he said he would, finished when he said he would, and cost less than half of what the larger electrical business quoted me. And was an all around friendly and likeable guy. The work looks great, and I couldn't be happier. He just got a customer for life. (I don't usually write reviews, but this guy absolutely deserves it) read more

JGH was tremendously helpful - giving me tips and suggestions without charging me, without even making a visit and helping me self sufficiently solve the issue we were experiencing since I was seeking a more affordable quote vs another company estimated $900 for them to fix, when I was able to with support address entirely on my own. read more

I had Joey who is the owner/operator of JGH Solutions hang my dining room chandelier. I have 12-foot-high ceilings. After he hung the chandelier, he told me that if I had second thoughts about the height to let him know and he would come back to readjust it. I did decide I wanted it lowered and asked Joey to comeback. He came back two times to make the adjustment and made sure that I was happy with the height before he left. I would absolutely recommend JGH Solutions as he provided outstanding customer service! read more

Joey was very responsive to my request for help at my home. He solved a problem that had eluded two previous electricians. He solved it quickly and easily. He is very knowledgeable and thorough as well as being friendly and courteous. I highly recommend his services as an electrician!!! read more

Over the past few weeks, Joey has not been responsive over text, which was fine when he finally told me he was behind due to injury. I totally understand that, just communicate that. But today was an awful experience. I had been texting for six weeks or so about having him return to fix something that was done incorrectly (and shouldn't have, as I sent him photos of what was supposed to be done multiple times) as well as a smaller, new project. When he stopped by, I was not home but my friend and handyman were there. I spoke to them separately about what occurred. Both said Joey showed up looking "angry" or that "he didn't want to be here." He asked my handyman if he could handle whatever work needed to be done and then said something like, "I am so busy, I don't have time." He then left, without correcting what was done wrong (by him) or fixing the new problem. This is upsetting and appalling. I don't know what's going on w/ Joey or his company but I can't continue to recommend after the past few months of no response, dragging feet on scheduling, and then the rude, inappropriate behavior today. read more
