We had a big issue with our electric panel last week. After experiencing what appeared to be a brown out the night before, we woke up the next morning to a sizzling-sounding electric panel - quite scary. I shut it down immediately. Fortunately, I had interviewed four different electrical companies back in October of last year as I was preparing to have some work done. I had already decided on using Juniper based on my research. I called Juniper that morning and Bonnie who handles all the administration there took some information and was instantly on it. Within an hour, a tech arrived. Within two hours, there were site technicians here to mark underground power and data lines. By late afternoon, Juniper had set us up with a temporary solution to get us through the night as it dipped into the single digits. At 7am sharp the next morning, the Juniper team was out here in full force. Mind you, it was frigidly cold in our garage. They worked through the day and into the night to fully replace our electric panel as well as add a sub panel outside next to the main cutoff. I was blown away at their efficiency and expertise. Despite the horribly cold conditions, Juniper executed a complex job in a day without cutting a single corner. The team was incredibly nice. They wore shoe coverings each time they had to come into our home. They fully communicated every phase of the work to me from start to finish. They tested every circuit in the home after completing the work. It felt like a well-oiled, highly efficient military operation - with a group of guys that were super nice. These guys know what they are doing and they do not mess around. They were back today (Monday) to finish up minor details and close the project out. Superior workmanship and we got a superior product. Since this is a once in 50 year kind of thing, we opted for a smart load center and it is just super cool. Juniper Mountain Electric did a great job hanging a chandelier for us on a very tall ceiling. They were reasonably priced, responsive and professional. They also were able to get us scheduled quickly and cleaned our house well afterwards. We had a small issue the first time they hung the chandelier (mostly my own fault) and they offered to fix it free of charge for us. I want to start this review with a huge thank you for such wonderful service and a job well done. Bonnie, Jake, Jack and Zach were amazing from initial contact to completion. I contacted Juniper via Yelp for a quote and got a response incredibly quick that more information was required. I really appreciated that because I knew any good company would want specifics, but I wasn't sure exactly what I needed to include. Bonnie and I spoke on the phone she was so patient will I got the information needed. Also during that phone call she walked me through the process, scheduled a site visit and managed to get even more specifics all the while being professional and friendly. On the day of the scheduled site visit Jake texted as promised prior to the appointment with a very specific estimated time of arrival. While he was on site he was respectful of the home and able to answer questions and point out possible issues that may arise outside either of our control. I received my estimate later in the day with possible dates for installation. The installation by Jack and Zach was amazing. There was an issue with one of the fixtures I ordered, no problem they offered a solution and work continued. They vacuumed continually any slight mess they made and completed the job in a very professional and efficient manner. I contacted Juniper Mountain Electric to fix an electrical installation that another company had done incorrectly (and not up to code) for our basement bar. They were able to schedule an appointment with me right away. Both Jake and Bonnie's upbeat attitude, friendliness, and good nature turned a very frustrating situation into a scenario where I felt I was in good hands. Jake was knowledgeable about what needed to be done to correct the electrical, and the Building Official for my town even made a side comment to me during rough inspection that Jake "really knows what he's doing. Three years ago I gave this company five stars. This time I am extremely unhappy. They installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom and damaged the ceiling. When I asked them to repair it, they refused and referred me to the disclaimer on their quote. I won't be using them again. 7/16/2018: I'm updating my review today, because Juniper has addressed my concern. We came up with a solution to cover the damage with a ceiling medallion. Jake and his guys did an above and beyond job installing 3 220outlets to our attached garage for a welder,compressor and heater. We also were having 1 additional outlet installed on one wall and Jake and the guys ended up adding in 3 more around for free as he could tell it was lacking. He also rewired a few outlets in our home that were on a light switch which we didn't want on the switch. We plan on going with juniper again when we install more lights in the garage and remodel our kitchen! read more

I would recommend Juniper Mountain Electric to everyone I know! We were having issues with our electric due to a heavy load from dehumidifiers and air movers left by Serv-pro due to a water leak. I called on Monday morning and Jake came that afternoon. He diagnosed that the heavy load was causing my old wiring to do crazy things and he rearranged his Tuesday morning to come take care of it!
