I didn't expect him to come back out here on a Saturday as I was able to stop the leaking and it could wait until Monday. However, Rowan was very concerned that there was a problem and came back out here to resolve the problem. Now I have to go back and do all their work. How they can begin a project and expose a homeowner to all sorts of repercussions by the state is beyond me. Be alarmed by the cheap bids. They're cheap because they don't follow the laws. The homeowner is liable for proper asbestos disposal / cleanup, fines, a potential lien on your property, and god forbid someone get hurt on the job. A quick trip to your city's building division will verify the legitimacy of any contractor. I encourage this due diligence. Non-tax paying cheaters are all these guys are.

They couldn't have made a better recommendation. Zach is responsive and clear in communicating by email, which makes everything much easier. He came by and helped us think through different options for both ceiling lighting and under-cabinet lighting, and when we asked him to recommend specific products for the job, he was happy to do so. He made everything incredibly easy. The actual work turned out great. ZAE showed up when they were supposed to, did high quality work, and left the site as clean as how they found it. The lighting improvements ended up being our favorite part of the kitchen upgrade overall. Importantly, the quoted price was quite reasonable, there was no haggling needed, and there were no surprises at the end. Additionally, while working on the job, Zach gave me some pointers on things I could do myself around the house - which I found especially helpful, not being particularly handy myself. More recently, I had a couple minor issues related to some lighting work I did elsewhere in the house. Stumped, I emailed Zach looking for suggestions. Again, he was responsive by email, and he offered to stop by the house one afternoon to take a look and provide further helpful suggestions. And, unlike other contractors (especially electricians and plumbers) that I've experienced, this didn't come with an exorbitant bill just to knock on my door! ZAE does great work, and Zach is a skilled, conscientious electrician. He's also a very nice guy. Highly recommended.
