I had to get another electrician to come check out the installation. They said the outdoor Nema 14-50 plug needs to be weather proofed with sealant. Perhaps moisture is getting inside and tripping the breaker. Another reason could be the sub panel is not adequately supplied. The other electrician is coming by next Saturday to check the current levels. Charles is cheaper than other electricians but the follow up service quality is lacking. Which is why I've decided to go down to three stars from five. You get what you paid for. PS I asked him to quote me for fixing several light switches after the Nema plug install. He came by to check but left without contacting me again. I was pretty bewildered and hesitant to contact him again. I hired a different electrician who took an hour and charged me $80 for the work. Edit: Charles reached out immediately once he saw my updated review, apologized, and came over to check everything. Looks like the breaker wires were loose, he tightened it, and the car charged properly. Charles promised if the problem returned he would replace the original cabling and garage sub-panel under the original installation warranty. Thanks for making things right. Will update again if anything else happens.

I hired them for a new basement digout, meaning they upgraded my house panel, and did all the electrical work for the new space: 3 bedrooms, a bath, workout room, and utility room. Table Mountain ended up being the best value option for my specific project. They weren't the cheapest (although they were close), but they def were not the most expensive either. And they held 100% to their initial bid, even though there were some unforeseen things that came up - which is what I was most worried about: getting a low estimate, then raising the price along the way. This never happened. Everyone that showed up was polite and respectful, and they all seemed to know what they were doing. And I am 100% happy with the quality of the work. In fact, when the city of Denver inspector showed up and asked who did the work and I told him, he said Table Mountain's work is always good (and he quickly buzzed through the rest of the inspection - which is a huge relief since inspectors can get very nit-picky if they don't think something was done exactly how they like it). Be prepared to pay exactly according to the schedule, which is reasonable in this industry. They show up on time, and expect payment on time. On this, Robert was firm, and I can't say I blame him. I def recommend them for this type of project.

The crew arrived early, I rushed home and apparently arrived about 20min after them, but only 10min into the arrival window, and the crew had left, only offering to reschedule for NEXT THURSDAY. When I called to request more immediate service in line with what was promised, the representative on the phone argued with me, accused my spouse of making errors that led to the cancelled service, and was extremely rude to me; Robert, whoever answered your phone at 2:36pm today needs a serious performance review, because as an HR rep myself, I was absolutely appalled at how I was spoken to after the company made a critical scheduling error; if my staff spoke to a customer that way they would be fired. Talking over me, telling lies, and being an absolute asshole is not an acceptable way to remedy a service issue. To anybody reading this, this company is disrespectful, unprofessional and untrustworthy. I advise anybody considering this company's service to consider if would allow individuals providing such terrible customer service over the phone to enter their home at all. I contacted SJO Electric on the advice of a friend and I couldn't be happier! Ben and Geoff came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. I asked them to look at all the new electrical work and within minutes they identified several significant issues (not the first problem I had with the contractor I hired to do the reno) and on my request provided a quote to correct the issues. Ben and Jeff came out the next week and spent 4 hours correcting the problems (upgrading breakers, code compliance, adding GFI protection, and adding boxes) in my new kitchen. They had to add a box to the exterior wall of my kitchen (since it was already finished) so they also installed a very nice exterior outlet. They were punctual, friendly, courteous and cleaned up after the job, but most importantly competent, skilled and efficient. SJO Electric not only repaired the faulty work of another firm but gave me peace of mind that the work was done correctly. I now feel safe in my home again!
