I highly recommend AMP Electric. They replaced my bathroom exhaust fan and all the smoke detectors. Aaron, the Electrician, was very professional, friendly, and patient with me while I asked questions. He took the time to explain everything. I appreciate the help and will call them for my next project. read more

If you are looking for a quality electrician, AMP Electric is the winner! The 5 star reviews speak for themselves and once you hire them, you will know why. Tony came over today to add 2 new exterior outlets to our home so we can prepare for landscape lighting. He was efficient and took care of business without interrupting our day. Both outlets are exactly what we needed, look great and most importantly, work flawlessly. Tony is very knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure I understood how he would proceed on our project. He is a great asset to AMP Electric. Thank you, and keep up the great work! read more

We do a lot of basic electrical work around the house ourselves. But if we have an electrical emergency, or if we need something more than the basic electrical work, we would call these guys. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and the pricing is reasonable. We highly recommend AMP Electric. read more

I received a response/pricing from Lee at AMP Electric very quickly. We set an appointment for a couple weeks later, and I was politely reminded the day before that appointment. Aaron finished a job and was available early which was great. I had 3 smoke detectors, one combination detector, and a GFCI replaced for a very reasonable price. Aaron received a bad detector from the supplier, and he didn't let it get him down. He cheerfully went to grab a replacement. Great guy and great service. Fingers crossed you'll come to my place in Erie if I need service there. read more

We couldn't be more pleased and impressed with AMP Electric. We had a troublesome circuit problem and couldn't figure out what exactly the problem was. Because AMP is apparently in demand (understandably so) we has to wait a few days for a visit, but it sure was worth the wait. AMP came out exactly as scheduled and quickly found and fixed the problem, which wasn't that easy. They were both highly professional and personable in explaining what had gone wrong. We couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Much belated review but Lee is great. He did a great job for a reasonable price. And he's a really nice guy I felt good about giving my business to. read more

SO IMPRESSED! We did not have an electrical "emergency" as just one of our breaker switches failed. It was the breaker that controlled our kitchen lights but the fridge and stove still worked. Not a huge deal, but the quick response from AMP was impressive. Aaron was our electrician and he was friendly, professional and switched out the bad breaker in record time. We will ALWAYS call AMP in the future should we need an electrician. Lee the owner is awesome and quick to respond. I HIGHLY recommend this company and hope you are as impressed and satisfied as we were. Nice job! read more

Got a 240v circuit installed in the garage for a level 2 EV charger. Tony did an awesome job! 10 out of 10, would recommend.

A++ Do not hesitate to call AMP. I was gun shy being new in Denver and having a terrible experience with a different company. Both Lee and Tony at AMP are extraordinary; professional, friendly, respectful, courteous, quick and competent. Everything was done well and the cost was reasonable. I will call them first always. As I said, don't hesitate. Give them a call. read more

Evan came in a timely manner, worked long hours to complete the job and Evan came back for other work. We'll do e!

They were quick with their reply and quite responsive throughout the process. We found a time that worked within 5 days of my request even though it was during the holidays. The technician was courteous and professional. He found that our ceiling light and fan had a receiver that had gone out. He ran to Home Depot to pick up the part and had it installed all said and done in under an hour. My wife and i are quite happy with their service. read more

AMP Electric diagnosed my problem over messages and fixed it, all at no cost to me. Big thanks!

My husband said "PLEASE FIND AN ELECTRICIAN. I just can't even think about it." When we moved in (cough cough 2 years ago), we had a couple of sconces that were literally burnt out. They never worked. One day recently he noticed that there were scorch marks inside the sconces. He wasn't sure when it happened and he was concerned there might be a wiring issue. I Yelped electricians and I got AMP. I called them and they scheduled someone right away. The tech came out right on time and took the time to inspect everything. He even called the owner to double check a few things to make sure we were safe. He replaced a few bulbs in other fixtures we were concerned about to ensure that was the only issue. They didn't charge me for the visit (that was so kind and unnecessary) and I will 100% be using them when we replace the sconces and any other electrical work we need in our home. read more

Lee was very quick and responsive. His team was very prompt, knowledgeable and professional. We have 19 ft ceilings and needed a light fixture hung along w/dimmer. His team showed up on time, got the job done on New Years Eve and in less than 2 hours! Fantastic team w/very reasonable pricing. Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed! read more

We need some electrical repair done around the house and Josh from AMP Electric showed up right on time. He was very knowledgeable and got everything done so quickly. We're very happy with the work and will be reaching out for future projects and upgrades. If you're looking for fast, reliable, and reasonable electrician, I would not hesitate to recommend AMP Electric! read more

What a joke of a professional. I coordinated with Lee to get me a quote on an EV charger uninstall/install. It is located in the parking garage of a condo downtown. I had coordinated the property manager to meet him at the front desk and escort him to the site. When he couldn't find the precise location I even took screen shots of google maps and drew on them to help him know where exactly to go. That did not work, so I called him and tried to help direct him. He was extremely agitated and said "you know what, you're just wasting my time, good luck finding someone else." When I let him know that I would be filing a BBB complaint due to his customer service he replied "go ahead lol." Is this really someone you want to trust? Not professional at all. read more

Lee came out to give a quote for a basement lighting job which turned into a full power upgrade. Lee took it upon himself to be the go between for contact the power company (CORE are a headache and a half) and the local city. Lee kept us in the loop of the on goings of when the panel replacement could be completed. Even with time constraints, Lee was able to set up a schedule that worked for both him and us. He sent out Tony and Aaron to prep and start the job (in a snow storm mind you). Both were polite, knowledgeable, and patient. Highly recommend and will be using them for plenty of jobs through the house! read more

I contacted Lee about having some recessed lighting installed in my condo along with needing a couple of outlets fixed and a light hung in my kitchen. He responded very promptly and stopped by to give me a quote within a day or two. Tony was the electrician who did the work on my home and did an amazing job. He checked in with my at each stage of the process to ensure I was happy with what he was doing and took the time to explain to me why certain outlets in my house were wired improperly/not working. I ended up paying exactly what was quoted and have nothing but good things to say about the work that was done! read more

This is the 2nd time I've used these guys and they are absolutely a class act. They use booties whenever entering or exiting our home. All the employees are well groomed and neat in appearance (this matters to me). They are thorough in their work and are always narrating what they are doing, and where they are going. And the price has always been very reasonable. My wife is in Real Estate and she will be using them anytime someone has a need for Electricians. read more

Thought we had a broken outdoor foot switch, and called Lee. He was friendly and responsive, made an appointment the same week. He discovered the problem was nothing more than a breaker on an outlet that had been tripped-- I should have checked it and just didn't think of it-- and he didn't charge anything for his time. AMP's reviews are stellar, Lee was professional and generous, and we'll use AMP in the future. I recommend that you do, too: terrific customer service. read more

We have now had Lee, Sam, and a few of their other team members working in our home on a few different projects and cannot say enough good things about them. They're easy to schedule with, they show up on time, they're pleasant, polite, do a great job, and most importantly to us, they're kind and friendly to our daughter who has special needs every single time they have come into our home. They have added/moved outlets in our laundry room, and most recently hung string lights for us on our patio. Every one of their employees that has entered our home has been friendly, polite and has done a great job. I highly recommend them!!! read more

I have had numerous poor experiences with contractors in the past few years. Today I was pleasantly impressed with Lee the owner of AMP electricity. Lee was a delight to work with. He was knowledgeable, friendly and above all honest. Lee found my problem and then double checked to see if there were any other issues which indeed there was. He quickly found the problems and fixed all issues. I would highly recommend AMP and Lee for any of your electrical needs. read more

Another electrician left me with a dead motor in our attic gable exhaust fan and said we needed an HVAC person to replace a fan. Called my HVAC person who says to call an electrician to replace an gable fans. Whaaat?? Fortunately, I found AMP Electric & contacting them via Yelp along with a few other electricians. AMP was the most responsive sending an electrician to climb into my attic and figure out what size fan was needed. Had a quote via Yelp that afternoon and Lee scheduled the job 10 days out. Chris Preston arrived promptly at 8:30 with a mask in place, the replacement fan, tools, and a friendly attitude. He installed the fan within an hour, set & tested the thermostat connection that triggers the fan automatically. Now we're ready for summer. Prices were acceptable. I will call AMP again for any future electrical work. read more

Lee and his crew are absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! Even in the midst of COVID-19 craziness, the business is prompt, on time, and extremely kind and professional! Their expertise and skill are top-notch, and Lee is a personable, know-you-by-your-first-name individual. I've had interactions with four different employees, and they are all great to work with just like him. I strongly recommend AMP Electric for any and all of your electric needs! Hire them and obtain peace of mind! read more

Called Lee with Amp (he picked up on first call) to explain that the squirrels had chewed through multiple wires in my attic, and the squirrel catcher said it was a fire hazard. He came out shortly, gave me a very reasonable estimate (lower than I suspected it would be and they stuck to it), and a short time later Zac was here (at 8:40am for our 9am appt.) setting up his supplies to work in the attic all morning in tight spots he would have to crawl under and over the trusses to get to. Net-net, a dozen injunction boxes were installed, my attic is now completely safe, both Zac and Lee were very courteous and professional, and Zac even vacuumed up the area he had to work in down below with his wires and supplies. Very highly recommend and WILL use this company again! read more

We had contacted several other electricians that didn't seem like they were that interested in our business or just never replied. After reading Yelp reviews on AMP, I contacted them and got a very quick response. The electric on our oven/stove outlet wasn't working and we had already been without it for over 10 days. No fun!!! Lee told me they could fit us in early the next week and when we were finalizing times, he called and told me there had been a cancellation for that day. He sent James to my house and told me he would be there within 30 minutes. James arrived on time and was super polite, efficient, thorough, and most importantly he fixed our electrical problem and got us cooking again. They were reasonably priced and just great people to work with. We will definitely use them in the future for any electrical needs we have. read more

As a woman who doesn't know much about electric anything really I was dreading having to call an electrician to come out. Lee returned my call promptly and was able to come out on short notice. The other companies I called didn't even return my phone call. Sam came out and was beyond professional/polite. I felt completely comfortable having him in my home. He worked so efficiently and wasn't fazed a bit by all the shenanigans happening at my house (maids, dogs, people). I won't ever use another company. I look forward to working with them again. The prices were reasonable also!! Used them for light switch, motion sensor. read more
