I gave Lee a big list of what I needed done, including changing out outlets in two rooms, adding GFCI outlets, and getting the ring doorbell to finally work right. He gave us an estimate of the hours it would take. On the day of the appointment Lee called before our appointment and told us Tony could be there early if that was okay. Amp should be ashamed of themselves. I built a brand new house that I moved into in February. Yesterday 5/26, my air conditioning stopped working and when the hvac crew came from another company they saw a fuse was blown to the unit. They went to see why and upon opening the box outside smoke was pouring out and the wires were on fire burnt about 95 percent through. The gentleman immediately shut off the power for me as he said the house would have soon caught on fire. I immediately called AMP as they were the electricians who did all wiring for the house. At 2:20pm I was told I would get a call back shortly. Keep in mind it was 95 degrees outside and the inside is now at 85 degrees since we can't run the air conditioning because of risk of fire from the electrical issues. No one from Amp ever called back. I continued to call everyone I could and the home builder finally got Amp to agree to send someone today, 5/27. So because they fail to care or respond to emergencies we sit in a burning hot house, got no sleep and feel unsafe. Never use them if you have the choice! Not using them might just save your life and your home! read more

I set the appointment with the owner Lee Morrison (Master Electrician). He showed up on time and was very friendly to work with. The job turned out to be a needle in a haystack to find and figure out. There is no way an journeyman electrician could have figured this one out but Lee's persistence persevered! He found the issue only through years of knowledge on how to rule out one thing after another. I had been facing electrical issues in my 3 year old house off and on ever since I moved in. Finally, an issue arose (just out of the blue one day) that caused a circuit breaker to constantly trip - seemingly for no reason especially because one day everything worked and then the next day, didn't. This issue effectively, keep me from having any working lights for 70% of my main living space. I had other electricians try to correct the issue but failed. After seeing good reviews here, I call AMP and spoke with Lee. He was great and tried to help me trouble shoot the issue over the phone, but ultimately, I needed someone to come out. James came out and was also awesome. As it turns out, my wiring was faulting from the day I moved in and just finally caught up to me. There were numerous neutral wires from different circuits being wired together. James rewired all of the switches correctly and found 3 instances of the faulty wiring and after fixing the wiring, discover an unrelated issue and fixed that too. Ultra Thorough! I have never found an electrician like Lee. I do not even know how to praise him enough. I live in California, and my daughter in Aurora, Co. We were desperate to have her meter which Xcel said had been burned out and needed an electrician before it could be turned on and we waited and waited with no help. My daughter wasn't even home. From the start, I have been thoroughly impressed with Amp Electric. My husband and I recently bought a house and needed our hot tub set up (220 v), a couple exterior lights put in, and an exterior outlet installed. We had two electric companies come out and Lee, from Amp Electric had great ideas for hiding the wiring while the other company wanted to run conduit all over our patio. Not only did he have a quote to me the next day but he was BBB certified and was less expensive than the other company that also came highly recommended. We weren't able to set a firm date for them to come out because our hot tub hadn't arrived yet, but Lee was very accommodating on finding us an appointment once it arrived. On the day of our appointment, I was very surprised when three electricians arrived! They were so professional and had everything completed by EOB, except for reattaching a cable box I asked them to move. Earlier in the day, I asked their advice on a breaker that kept tripping. They offered to replace it for free since they had to come back on Monday to reattach the cable box. I had expected the entire job would take two days, so I was quite pleased that they were generous enough to throw in the extra work as a kind gesture.
