I contacted this company through Thumbtack about an electrical project I wanted to hire an electrician for. Someone from the company responded saying they could help and would be in contact with me. Some time goes by and I reach out asking if they tried to contact me. Crickets... Maybe they decided shortly after the initial contact that they no longer want to help. Or they just simply forgot. Regardless, I don't like being told one thing and then something else happens. Thankfully, I found (most likely) a more capable electrician who was lock step in communication with me from start to finish and did a tremendous job completing everything I wanted done. Glad I found O'Brien Electrical. This is a straight-up, high-quality group of professionals and Erin, Jason and Rick all did a great job and were easy to work with. I needed a panel safety inspection and light switch installed for a ceiling light. Not only was it was great work at a great price, but I was surprised at how precise and neat Jacob's work was. Had a tight deadline and something wonky going on with power in one of bedrooms. I don't know electricians in the area so used Yelp to help me pick one. From the first call until a few minutes ago when O'Brien Electrical left my house I have been very satisfied. They would call me whenever they were in the area to see if they could help me sooner. They were friendly at every encounter. And... While my wonky problem turned out to be not a big deal, they took the time to explain how things could happen, what to look out for, and didn't charge me any sort of unreasonable rate. (And even checked another tiny problem I had) And, even apologized for having to charge at all. No apology necessary. I couldn't figure it out myself and you have a business to run. I would highly recommend for professionalism, timeliness, friendliness and pricing.
