I had a $500 gift certificate to D&D tire. I went to the Parker location to buy some tires on December 23. I was told that gift certificate is no longer valid because the company had been sold. That doesn't seem right. Usually when you buy a company, you assume some of the debts. The certificate was not expired. I recently sold a business and was obligated to cover any gift cards or previous commitments, and some of them were well over $500. The tires I was going to buy were considerably more than $500, so I would've also been paying cash in addition to the gift certificate. Seems like a pretty crappy business decision on their part. Pretty sure I'll never go there again. I will stick with Discount or Les Schuab. They bend over backwards to take care of customers. read more

I have been to D&D Parker over the past ~ 2 years mostly for oil changes and a few minor repairs. I have always been happy with their service. The service desk is always welcoming and helpful in describing service. Oil changes on Saturdays' are first come first served, but never have to wait too long. Last week I needed an AC check and walked in without an appt and they got me right in. Prices seem reasonable. They seem to be a good and honest repair shop and I recommend trying them out. read more

To preface this... I was raised in the automotive industry and ran a large full service, repair, and tire facility in Meridian Idaho before coming to Colorado. Leaves a lot to be desired in my mind... They curbed my wife's wheel and damaged the rim, gave me quotes for tires that didn't match the size I requested, and told me the struts on our car were leaking and needed to be replaced because of a creaking noise they heard. The creaking noise is coming from the front brake calipers... On top of that they didn't put the right weight (type) of oil in the car... Ford calls for a 5w20 semi synthetic or a 5w20 full synthetic. They put 5w30 and I question whether or not it was a synthetic. When I asked about the curb damage to my wheel they told me there's no way it happened in their shop. I checked my wheels and body for new damages before I took the car into their shop... And no such damages were there before I left my home to go to their shop today. The tire had fresh rubber coming off the sidewall and there was fresh metallic flakes coming from the wheel. After discussing this with the service writers (dalton and a gal I can't remember) I was instructed to ask my wife if she curbed it, and assured "there's no way that can happen here." There's curbing around the entire shop... Very easily could this happen. I was then told my tires were rotated when they weren't. Now I'm sitting at a discount tire getting my tires rotated and scheduling another oil change. I don't trust you to take care of my wife and kids when I'm gone. You won't be getting my business or any of my referrals. If the owner reads this I would encourage you to reach out to me. If this is happening to someone who's paying attention... How many people are having similar things happen like this without knowing? read more

I shopped around for an oil change and went to D&D since I had a coupon, in and out in under an hour, friendly service from Shannon and the others, clean waiting area with TV, and lower price than the "other oil change place". There is a lot to be said for plain good ol' fashioned customer service! I purchased my Goodyear tires from the Littleon store about 3 years ago and they were still under warranty. Unfortunately, that store was a victim of our current economic environment and went under. I was told by 3 other Goodyear stores that because they could not look up my information (each store is independent) they could not honor the warranty and thus would have to charge me for my needed tire repair. However, the folks at the Parker store stepped up and believed that I was speaking the truth and repaired my tire under said warranty. Thank You! I took my granddaughter's car to D&D about 5 months ago for an oil change and to get 3 leaking valve stems replaced. She had just got new tires at Firestone in Castle Rock and they didn't replace the valve stems. D&D replaced all 4 valve stems even though I just requested 3, didn't charge for the 4th. That was pretty good service, right? Fast forward to yesterday when my granddaughter said that Firestone didn't rotate her tires when she took it in because the lug nuts were too tight and they didn't want to twist them off because they didn't have replacements there. So I took it home and indeed twisted one off trying to loosen them and on one of them the threads were stripped. So I took it to D&D and told them that they were the last ones to have the wheels off can they fix this and make this right. They said sure and replaced the two damaged studs and replace 5 lug nuts instead of just the two and rotated the tires at no charge. I have been going to D&D for years and never had an issue with over tightened lug nuts. So this is just a fluke. Anyway, isn't this the kind of service that you always hope for when you have your car serviced? read more

I took my Mustang to D & D today because I had a leaking valve stem. They took it into the shop immediately and 20 minutes later they had replaced 2 valve stems and patched another tire with a small nail stuck in the tire. They only charged me $19!! I didn't even ask them to check for other faulty valves and/or repair the nail hole, so this was above & beyond, and deserves a great review. They did all of this with a friendly smile. When I asked them if I needed to replace my tires anytime soon, they said I should be good-to-go until next fall/winter. Good to know there are still HONEST and RESPECTFUL auto shops out there that aren't trying to up sell just to put more cash in their register. Myself and my son Rick have been coming to this D & D Tire location for 5 years now and we would Not take our cars to anybody else !!! Deanna and crew are the BEST anywhere. As many of you know, taking your car somewhere new can be so scary because you just don't know if they are being honest with you on what is actually wrong, etc......that is not a worry here at all !!! Deanna is so wonderful and is is always 100% honest. She will tell you what absolutely needs to be addressed immediately and what you can come back and fix later !! I called there to ask if they could do a visual inspection for a wheel alignment? The man that I spoke to said no, it takes too much work to take everything apart. Which puzzled me because every tire shop that provides alignment services that I asked the same question all do a visual inspection so if it was that much work then the tire shops would have said that takes too much work to take everything apart. read more

I had been by there when the local diesel shop was temporarily there. I was in last week as Danielle gave me a very reasonable quote on Toyo tires for my truck. I knew I had a tie rod problem and Ken was great at showing me the problem and they again were very reasonable with their price and got me back on the road that same afternoon. Wow is the best word to describe it. My truck spent 24 days in this shop just trying to get a simple alignment done. I would pick it up, they would say it's done and it still wasn't aligned. D and D Tire Service is a terrible, disrespectful, customer unfriendly place to do business. Run away from this place!!!! I took my car in to have a wheel bearing fixed. They put the car back together and told me I had something wrong with an axle bearing and my front brakes. I had felt nothing wrong with my brakes before I took my car in. After I drove it away from the shop that day, my car sounded worse than when I had brought it in and my brakes were acting up. Less than 3 weeks later I had to have my car towed to another shop which my insurance company recommended and was within the mile range that a tow was provided for free. Jim's Automotive on South Havana told me that the axle was just laying there, it had not been attached. I had to pay for a new wheel bearing, a rotor, a caliper and pad. When I complained to D and D Tire Service, Deanna said she would talk to the owner. She has never called me back. She is a disgusting person. I will never bring my car back there. i went there to get 6 new tires on my dually and ask them to do a alignment also later that day they called me and told me they couldn't do an alignment that all my front end parts needed replacing at a cost of about $800 so i took it to get a second opinion and was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with the front end of my truck and they tried to pull a fast one. the other shop did an alignment and my truck has run good and straight with no abnormal wear to the tires. it took me 15 years to return to a Goodyear for tires since my last bad experience and i guess i should have never went back!! read more

I had a couple good experiences with D&D in Parker until my last visit. An unfortunate issue forced me to replace the tires on my wife's car with 16k miles on it. They were able to take care of it on a (very busy) Saturday. Upon getting the car home I noticed all of the wheels were severely damaged. It looked like they were thrown on a pile of pry bars. Seems the technician was either rushed to the point of not caring for the quality or upset for being overworked on this particular day. The tires had been rotated twice before this and I had recently waxed the car including the wheels. They were like new... I immediately called the manager and was told to bring it in and she would make an adjustment. Once she looked at it, she then had to talk with her boss. After numerous calls and the same run around, I still haven't received any compensation or explanation for what was going to be done. Needless to say I won't be back. read more
