Not much maintenance other than battery replacement required. It worked superbly, never had an issue. Welcome 2020, the year of "now what could possibly happen". I replaced the key fob batteries when, wowza, alarms galore. I couldn't get my Jeep to shut up. Then it did. Silence. The autolock and alarm feature was kaput. So thinking I blew a fuse, I called on the guys to have them run a diagnosis and an hour later Ryan called with the good news. It was that darn battery. How embarrassing! The locks and alarm are working, and "Brady" is once again the love of my life. Thanks so much to Ryan for his assistance and time and to the service desk guys for understanding and not allowing me to feel like a dork (even though I was super red in the face behind my mask). He hardwired my radar and did a fantastic job with the install; it looks absolutely perfect. For me, the true test is when you drive away and all the warning lights do not go crazy--no issues. I felt that even if there had been issues, being a larger company, they would stand behind their work. My only feedback is that they don't always answer the phone. I found myself having to wait 20-30 minutes before trying again and getting someone. I feel their prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for, and I would rather not risk it. I highly recommend their company; they are customer focused and are proactive with making sure the engagement goes as expected. Backstory: I recently turned to yelp to help find a local company in the Denver Metro to update the audio system in one of my automobile. I put out eight RFQs and of the seven returned, Relic was by far the most professional and the only one who did not try to low-ball, up-sell or require that I come visit their store to get a quote. They were also quite responsive during the entire communications process; rarely more than an hour passed between each email sent. As a businessman who values strong customer service, I very much appreciated Relic's approach to my cold query. This isn't the first time I've upgraded a car audio system, so I am familiar with the process, costs and time requirements. The entire discovery, ordering and execution process with Relic was exemplary; there is no better way to describe this (and I'm not one for hyperbole). From the first email, Micah, one of the owners, worked patiently with me as I asked a myriad of questions about my options. He also asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for and provided me with various options. He was easy to work with and made the entire process painless. Most surprising and refreshing about working with Relic, for a very modest fee, they came and picked up my car (in North Denver), brought it to their offices in Castle Rock, installed the new system and brought it back to me, all within 24 hours. Color me impressed - how efficient and easy this whole experience was. Between the convenience, Relic's very reasonable pricing and excellent workmanship, I wholeheartedly and unequivocally recommend them for any custom sound work in your automobile. Starting with the great, the shop is nice and people are friendly. The work area was clean which is a good indicator of the care they'll put into your vehicle. The actual installation work in my car was good quality. Where things fell short is largely with communication. My install included a sub amp and an LC2i. The total cost, including parts as I did not provide any wiring kit, was $420. I believe 3 hours of this was for labor. I was okay with the price as it including all the install hardware and the install itself was done cleanly. However, I never received a quote or an estimate and was just told the total at the end when picking up the car. They finished at the end of their day and sent me on my way without really showing me what was done. Including where things were installed. The second lapse in communication is with the LC2i. When I dropped the car off I listed the components I had for them to install. They never called or asked where to install the LC2i or the amp. In my past experiences these ended up in the trunk so I didn't think I needed to be specific. They ended up putting the amp under the passenger seat, which is okay but not ideal. It's good that I can access the controls to tune the system but when the seat moves forward to let someone or my dog in the back seat, the amp is exposed to being stepped on if someone isn't careful. The LC2i unfortunately was hidden under the dash, like it's a high low converter. Leaving it completely inaccessible and i was unable to use any of the adjustments to tune it, or have easy access to the outputs for future expansion. I was disappointed that these locations were not seemingly thought through with accessibility in mind, and that I was not asked for preference before they decided to hide the lc2i. When I called back and spoke with Guy, he at first offered to move the lc2i for additional labor costs, but after hearing my concerns he graciously offered to schedule another appointment to have them relocate it free of charge. This was very positive and appreciated. I'm not always comfortable having someone "redo" work on a car, and instead offered to buy some additional gear so I could pay them to install those and have them move the lc2i while they were at it. They price matched/beat crutchfield on the items I wanted, which also great. But then the quote to install a jl audio rd400 and upgrade the component speakers in the front doors was $845 (for parts and labor). I had to decline the quote. I will say that while their prices ultimately aren't for my preference, the work was done well and they were reasonable when hearing my concerns. If you go with them, please over communicate instead of simply hoping for the best as I did and you should be left a happy customer.

He had to dismantle the entire rear seat to access the rear deck and replace the speakers. I also opted for an under-the-seat subwoofer, which was also quite challenging. However, Gregg was up to the task. He installed the Dasaita head unit and rewired all the speakers. One more challenge I remember was getting the Alpine tweeters I purchased to work. They were larger than the original openings, so he had to modify the area to fit them. Now, my car sounds like a concert hall, and I always look forward to my work commute. There was one issue with the Bluetooth mic during calls, which was out of Gregg's control and more of a Dasaita issue, but he still took the time to research and try to fix the problem. Oh, and his communication is excellent. He always kept me updated and explained everything in detail. The price was also very reasonable for the extensive work he did. I highly recommend using him. Note: I will attach more pictures and hopefully a video to show the quality of the work.

They wouldn't give me a time estimate just kept saying show up between 5 and 6 so I waited for an hour after close for them to finish. The kid had kind of attitude as these shops typically don't like do it yourselfers like me. Luckily this was on my toy as I would not take a nice vehicle to this shop. I am admittedly a tough customer but this was just a bit frustrating. I just expect friendly communication, good value suggestions, quality service with time estimates so I can plan my day.
