Coming from North Carolina and needing to get back in a few days, Mike the service manager really helped and made sure we were taken care of. Even speaking on their work if we have any issues when we get back home to give him a call. Highly recommend!

It took them a week longer to get the work done than we were originally told. Once they finally installed the transmission, we were told that it came with a faulty sensor, and that they would have to get the part from Honda. They then charged us for the faulty sensor that came with the transmission -- almost $300. The initial quote for a new transmission was $10,000 parts and labor. They said that they could get a certified, refurbished one and drop the price to closer to $8,000. We chose to go with the certified refurbished transmission (while we were waiting for the work to be done, 4 hours after we showed up -- and it was still the next day before they finished it -- the manager was talking to us and saying that a brand new transmission for the car would have been $16,000 -- even though 2 weeks before he had quoted us $10,000). The final bill, with the other things they added on, was $9,700 (which turns out to be significantly more than what we were told and more than other shops would charge). They also told us a list of things that needed to be dealt with that were problems with the car. I was curious simply because I heard three other customers being told that they had similar issues that needed to be dealt with. Driving the car the next day, there was a weird squeaking sound. We took it to another shop to see if they could diagnose the problem -- a number of the bolts holding the transmission were loose! They tightened them up and the sound disappeared. Not only was the work very late and overpriced, it was shoddy. We also asked this shop to check the other issues that Saul's Autotek had said were issues that needed to be addressed, and we were told that those "issues" were fine.

Pricing far above other quotes We were charged $558.31 (before a 15% discount) to replace a single front wheel lug stud. For the exact same repair, I later received written quotes of $228.80 from an independent shop and $381 including tax from a Subaru dealership. That means Christian Brothers' price was about 2.4x the independent shop and about 1.5x the dealership for the same job. Christian Brothers owner and employee told me they used an ALLDATA labor guide to calculate the bill and charged 2.1 hours of labor, while the other shop quoted 1.0 hour. I understand different shops can have different labor rates and methods, but this felt significantly out of line with other reputable options in the area. 2. Response to my concerns When I raised these concerns by email, the owner's reply came across as dismissive. I was told that "complaining about the price after the fact is mute at this point" and that if we did not like the cost, we should have gone elsewhere. I had hoped for a more constructive conversation about why the price was so much higher than other quotes. We chose this shop largely because of the "Christian Brothers" name and the expectation of fair dealing that came with it. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not return and cannot recommend this location to others.

They do amazing work and are always upfront with the repairs or maintenance needed. I've never had a problem and they take care of all my cars, including my in-laws cars and my moms. I am an elderly person who was taken advantage of by Toy Car Care! My experience with Toy Car Care…read morewas one of the worst experiences I have ever had and I would suggest you run far away from this place because they hold your vehicle hostage and keep changing the repair price until you pay what they want. In my opinion, they have violated many parts of the Colorado Motor Vehicle Repair act and I am considering pursuing legal actions against them. I initially brought the vehicle in after being quoted $850 for the repair. After having the car towed to their shop, I was effectively told that diagnostics were required before they would proceed. At no point was I given a clear timeline for when the vehicle would be returned, and there was little transparency throughout the process. The estimate then increased to approximately $1,200, only to eventually become $1,629, including vague charges for "shop supplies." The amount seemed to change repeatedly, and I never received a clear written estimate explaining the escalating charges. The receptionist is the rudest person alive, who screams at you when you call to check on the status of your car. Steve, the manager, had nothing to say about this "sliding scale" pricing and disrespectful behavior. What is most concerning is that Toy Car Care allegedly obtained authorization through my son rather than from me, the vehicle owner and paying customer, which is also not permitted under law. I never received a written estimate, only verbal discussions that kept changing and were relayed through my son, who is not the owner of the car. Colorado's Motor Vehicle Repair Act requires repair facilities to provide estimates and obtain proper customer authorization before performing repairs. See C.R.S. § 42-9-104 (consent and estimate requirements) and§ 42-9-105 (additional repairs requiring customer consent). I never received a written estimate, did not authorize this repair beyond $850 and did not give consent for a third party to act on my behalf. What began as an approximately $850 repair became a $1,629 bill for an elderly person through a series of escalating charges, verbal estimates, and alleged authorizations that were never properly obtained from me. Once the vehicle was in their possession, it felt like we had no meaningful choice but to keep paying as the numbers continued to climb. The entire experience left us feeling misled, pressured, and taken advantage of. I would never trust this Toy Car Care with another vehicle and would strongly caution others to look elsewhere, especially if you are a senior!

They paid for my Uber ride shares in both directions; both after I dropped off my car to be worked on and when I needed to pick it up after the repairs were done (I don't live near by either). They owners are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Elite worked with my Lexus warranty company to take care of items that the Lexus dealers have constantly declined doing or missed repairs needed because they do not make enough in WARRANTY hourly labor costs to "find" the repairs that need fixing. It's shameful. I had previously brought my car into THREE different Lexus dealerships and asked them to inspect the car and use my warranty to cover the charges. Each time they said, "we can't seem to duplicate what you are bringing it in for". I sincerely appreciate the Elite team taking care of all the repairs and by working WITH my warranty company to cover as much as possible. I will say that their hourly labor rates are definitely higher than most of the auto repair shops but in the end you get what you pay for. How many hours and days I had wasted going to and from the dealer only to be sent home without the repairs. While I do love saving money, I also value saving time and I will be bringing my Lexus to Elite from now on.

They are very knowledgeable, very nice and I feel like they are very honest. They don't try to upsell you like Christian Brothers does. I had my car at Elite a couple of days ago for new brakes and an oil change. Drop my car off the night before. Got a email with pictures and a full inspection the next morning called and spoke with Ashley who is new there since the last time I had my car in. She was so nice! We talked about all of the items on the inspection and what needed to be done right away and what I could wait on. If their prices are a little bit higher, my response is that you get what you pay for. This team is honest and extremely knowledgeable. Every single experience I have had with them over the last few years has been great. I highly recommend!!!
