Was driving down the highway, suddenly had a big oil leak. Stopped at a gas station, obviously very stressed out. Decided to reach out and gave a call to Cycle Tech. David said come on over, we can check out. I got there at 10:20am. Within 15 min, they found the problem. By the time it was 11:00am, the part was replaced, and the bike was tested to ensure it was all good. Major kudos to David and Martin. The shop is amazing. I have an 05 Ducati 999 and was in need of tires NOW cause I failed to be responsible and check them from time to time until this morning. Thankfully a few days ago was on TikTok and saw a video of another rider praising this shop for the work they did on his Ducati and overall treatment and that he will never trust anyone but this shop. Please note this review is based on a one time experience. I own 2 motorcycles and received unsatisfactory results from 4 motorcycle repair shops in Las Vegas so I have been actively looking for a reliable mechanic. Issues I experienced ranged from cost, length of time and inability to repair. One shop CREATED an electrical issue by accidentally pulling out a wire, not correcting it and returning the bike to me worse than when I brought it in. When I brought the bike back to the shop I was charged for correcting their own mistake. Recently I brought one of my motorcycles to Cycle Tech for 3 issues: replace clutch fluid, fix the alarm and rear brake not functioning. When I inquired about checking/adjusting the valves I was told the bike didn't need it (yet) saving me about $400. This leads me to believe they are honest. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me two hours later saying my bike was ready-- and the bill was reasonable. If this is how Cycle Tech normally operates then they have a new customer. Note: About a year ago I drove to Cycle Tech's front door but it looked like they were permanently closed so I drove away and, regrettably, went to another shop. I now know that you have to circle around to the back of the shop around the corner in order to drop off your bike. read more

LAZY, LYING, CROOKS! Took my bike here 2 months ago (nearly 3 months now) as I seen they had lots of good reviews boy was that a mistake, the one star was low as I can go. I haven't gotten one single call since my bike has been there, they said they'd give me a call in a couple days. Finally calling they said they needed to go thru my carbs and a rejet ok fine, a little over a month goes by I get a bit worried because there is busy and there is incompetent which in this case that's what I'm dealing with been there three separate times I've yet to see anyone really busy. Now they say they're are going thru the carbs "again" and it needs a new fuel filter, granted that's a brand new fuel filter I had just replaced it before I took my bike there, alright whatever did not argue. Ended up going down thinking my bike was ready as they had mentioned, when I get there my bike sounded the same as when I first dropped it off which I found interesting. This took place on a Monday and apparently it was running Friday something must have got inside the carbs particles or something my thoughts "yea ok" and on top of this my springer seat was removed and had a stock seat on it which I don't even own hate it actually. They said they would put it back on. So after another week I call they're still working on it, go figure smh so at this point I have zero confidence my bike would be running anytime soon so I went to get a new bike as I have no transportation. Got my new bike now I need a phone mount so I think wait I have one on my bike at the shop yea freaking right phone mount is gone aside from the piece on the bars no energy to give them I just left. So my bike is still there I don't give a crap if this makes them mad how do you think I feel it's not like I have your stuff and claim to be fixing it whilst not doing a darn thing. It's not a Harley or anything but it's mines I put money and hard work in it, wouldn't let you work on my exercise bike now. Anyway fix it or don't I don't care at this point but I do expect my bike back as I brought it in and please don't give me any wild ridiculous numbers either I'm not as dumb as I pretend to be, call me when this is worked out thanks. I was on a group ride from California and decided to get my ECU flashed here. DON'T! It all started with an estimate of 1 hour of work, that turned into about 7 hours. No big deal. When picking up my bike I noticed there was a lot of dirt/grease on my bike. No big deal. Then I noticed 4 of my fairings were not installed correctly. Not a huge deal. I went and grabbed the worker (Nick I believe) and asked him for an allen to fix it and he fixed 2 of them. I later found the other two once I left. And during my walk around I noticed there was a lot of scratches that were not there prior. That's a big deal. I even pointed it out to Nick. Like come on, I'm bringing my baby to you guys expecting great quality service and then this happens.. I wasn't worried about the extended time because I was assuming they were doing it all right and putting in great work but this was not the case and I even said all this. His response was "oh, sorry" you can tell when they were removing some of the fairings they were using a lot of force and bent them. That's a big deal, now I need to heat them and mold them back to the original positions... Who knows if the clips are all in tact, that will be reviewed once I do a deep inspection on the bike back home.. almost makes it seem like these guys don't even ride cause they obviously don't respect other peoples bikes. I bought a used Yamaha R6 motorcycle and it had died on me on the freeway. I took a look and saw that Cycle tech had a lot of 5 star reviews from a lot people, even from different states. It was pleasant initially because the workers there seemed to be riders themselves and they were also fixing bikes when mine had came up there and since it was motorcycle season I was expecting it to take a while to fix my motorcycle. I had brought my motorcycle at the beginning of May. I told them about what happened to my bike and said that several of my friends (who also told me to go to this place) that it could be my stator and rectifier that had gone out. They listened to my concerns and we signed the paperwork for the motorcycle to be fixed at the shop. I had waited a week and there wasn't any calls, though one of the mechanics said they would give me a call in a few days after running some diagnostics. The second week I had called in again for an update, one of the reps said that they had put it on a stand and they're currently checking it out and would call me the following day. It was almost the end of the third week and there wasn't any calls back. I had contacted them again; I believe I spoke with Dave (the owner) this time and he said it was the stator and rectifier (that I had originally thought) wasn't giving enough voltage to keep the bike running and the parts were ordered and the bike should be ready to go by next week. It was a full month at this point and I had called them again. They said the part they ordered didn't fit my bike and that they had to make a few modifications to it and said it would be done the next day. The next day came, i tried calling and no one had picked up. The following Monday, the bike was finally fixed. I was happy to get back onto the road after having to borrow cars, pay friends for rides, and use uber just to get to work. . . for a month. It was about a week and a half later that my motorcycle died exiting the freeway and the motorcycle completely died. When I had tried to start it back up it turned on and i heard metallic break off inside and it wouldn't completely turn on afterwards. I had to rent out a truck to bring the motorcycle to another company. This whole thing has been a headache. I had sincerely wanted to have a pleasant time with this company because of all the reviews and recommendation from friends, talking to the mechanics there had made me really hopeful, but I should have been more attentive to the reviews, it seems like most of them were years ago. I guess I was the unlucky one. Two stars... the only reason why I didn't give one was because their customer service was great. I wish they had treated my bike the same way. read more

Took my Vulcan in for oil pressure light and to have oil changed. They changed the oil and filter quickly. Trouble shot the light and fixed the problem. They also redid fork seals quickly. After leaving shop the bike died due to kickstand switch failure. (Not related to why bike was in shop originally.) Dave sent one of the guys with a trailer to pick me up and bring bike back to shop where they quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Highly recommend the shop. Mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly. They worked hard to get me out of the shop quickly and affordable as well. read more

I expected so much more based on the reviews. All the dealerships are overpriced and in most cases ill-equip to handle service. Bottom line, they completely ignored 2 issues I brought my bike in with and they charged a ridiculous amount for a 1.5qt oil change. They barely talked to me. I'll go back to doing my own work. Lake Havasu Az. Motorcycle bike shops are so independent that they won't even call you back after you call about service work. Honda trike work is completely out for "ALL" shops in Havasu unless you have a "HARLEY" We called Cycle Tec and they worked on my trike with no issues. Made an appointment and drove to Las Vegas from Lake Havasu. Nick was super nice and very helpful in answering all my concerns. Very reasonable prices.
