Finding mechanics to work on bikes older than 10 years is hard enough already but what a great place motozone is to get work done. Pricing is very reasonable too. FInding a rear rotor for my 08 GL1800 isnt easy unless i want to drop $912 for an oem one. But after looking through some gently used units and going over which one would be the best Cody took the time to help check them out and advise me which one. ( i know nothing about brakes and rotors and dint want to buy something that potentially had something i couldn't recognize to be bad). So kudos for the time and effort despite how busy they are to help me make sure i purchase the right part even if its not through them. MotoZone got me back on the road. Most bike garages take forever to not only get in but to get your bike back to you. Scott stands behind the work his techs do. Cody was extremely pleasant. My bike got a tune up and then the carb fouled 33 days after having it back. Since they'd been in her guts recently I asked the guys at MotoZone what they suspect it could be. Even though I was 3 days past the 30 day warrantee of their work, Scott insisted I bring it back in. I'd flooded my air box/filter. He dried out the filter & cleared the carburetor for optimal performance at a total cost of NOTHING. They were not interested in performing a diagnostic. said look straight, will become a money pit, if becomes a safety concern to bring it back. keep the chain maintained. My Honda VTX 1800 would idle rough then shutoff and then finally it just wouldn't start. After many attempts at trying to figure it out I looked around town to find an honest motorcycle repair shop and there weren't any I found trustworthy until I did a google search and saw all the positive reviews for Motozone. After doing my research I thought I would give them a try and they didn't let me down. Called and spoke to the owners son Cody and he told me he didn't have much room in the shop for anymore bikes and that they were slammed. I told him what had happened and that I really needed to get my bike fixed and that I had a ride coming up the following month. He found away to squeeze me in and I called my insurance to have my bike towed from my garage to there shop. Cody said it would be a couple weeks before they would be able to assess what was wrong with the bike. I told them no worries just let me know when you find out. He later called me and told me I had a bad fuel pump and that it would be better to buy OEM Honda fuel pump versus an aftermarket one. It wasn't cheap but they took great care of me and my bike and after 3 weeks my bike was running and I was back on the road again. I met Scott the owner when I came in to pay off my debt and he was very pleasant to talk too and he knows a lot about motorcycles and his techs are one of the most experienced master mechanics in town. If I ever need anymore work on my bike I'll definitely bring it back to Motozone. I've recommended to a lot of my motorcycle buddies this place. It's been a while since I've needed work, but Motozone has _always_ been the best I've visited. Even when their team was in Utah, they were the best, and that's been a long, long time ago. I had an electrical failure in the middle of the night. AAA brought the bike to Motozone, and I left a hidden key. Valkyries aren't all that common, so I was a bit concerned Scott couldn't help me. Scott not only had the bike running the next day, the rate was ridiculously fair. When I talked to him on the phone, he wasn't sure he could fix the issue in any quick time, as he had several other bikes ahead of mine, and the parts I needed are hard to find. Lo and behold, he found a part somewhere in his shop, and had me on the road in less than 10 hours! Now that I've moved full-time to Las Vegas, I'll never go anywhere else again. read more

I recently had my 91 Honda 750 Nighthawk in to have the carbs rebuilt and get the bike running after 10+ years of storage. The bike now runs flawlessly. This was a labor intensive job rebuilding 4 carbs, plus removing and refitting. They also rebuilt the petcock and replaced missing engine mounts. The bill was reasonable for what was done. I have always come to MotoZone for my repairs. Their repairs are always done right. Now, this last time I brought the my sons motorcycle fork shocks that we where doing at home when our tool broke. We decided to bring it to MotoZone and pay for the final step. First night we where received with a barrage of questions, technical questions. We patiently tried to answer all questions, but no matter what we said, we sounded wrong. The next day My nephew stopped to check on the parts, he was welcome with a scolding, once he contacted me and informed me of what happened, I decided to go to the shop and pick up the shocks even if they where not done. Upon arriving to pick up the parts, I was told he just finished one and was working on the other, to my surprise the technician (manager or owner) walked our once again and scolded me for the same reason. Being there without being called. In the end I left and was called within the hour to come and get the parts as he's not waiting to no one. Once again I got another education on the technicalities of the repair, as if I have never done the repair myself before. The price was never the issue, as I paid what he quoted me. These guys are great! Had another shop install new whell bearings which I brought into them. Made it maybe 10 miles and one of the rear wheel bearings blew, causing all kinds of damage. These guys had to do a lot of repair work to the hub, plus correctly installing a new set of wheel bearings. They also.had to machine some parts to make everything fit back together.
