He was quite friendly and said if it was working and had no codes (I had put the OBD scanner to it and nothing showed) that it was probably a ground issue. and told me that he'd be glad to check it out. However he said would be hard to determine the issue if it was operational, and he wouldn't like to charge me for something that would only show if something was wrong. Thanks Art!

He said the work was done he just needed to put it back together. I got there to pick it up just as he was finishing. It started right up and sounded normal to me. I was ready to pay and go. Jay apologized but it just wasn't good enough for him. He wanted to keep it another couple of days to change the size jets in the newly installed carburetor. I've now had my bike back for a little over a week and it's running better than ever. It's 18 years old and since I got it 5 years ago it had a little backfire. I thought it was just the way the bike was gonna run. I was wrong. I just needed a shop like L. V. Motor Toyz. Thank you Jay & Anthony!!!

I will certainly bring my bike back to him for any repairs. He knows what he's doing and he's very good.

Well, you can tell how detailed and meticulous Grumpy is about his work by looking at how he stores his tools. Yes, he has the same large tool cases you'd see in any garage, but peek in the drawers and you'll see that each impeccably clean tool has its own foam cutout for storage. Grumpy is going to be my mechanic as long as I live in Vegas. Give them a try.

This wasn't just "fix a small leak" type of work -- it was a complete overhaul: Rear main seal Front crankshaft seal Front axle seals Timing chain replacement Radiator replacement Water pump and thermostat replacement Rear differential cover reseal Transmission cooler line repair Full oil and fluid service Complete code scan and inspection We had originally planned on the Jeep being down for about two weeks. With the scope of work this big, that would've been expected. But he had it finished and back to me in only 10 days -- a huge turnaround considering everything that was done. My Jeep now feels tight, refreshed, and ready for another 100k miles of dependable driving. But what really sets this shop apart is more than just skill with vehicles -- it's character. Nick isn't only a top-level mechanic who does custom fabrication work, he's also a man who pours into his community. He and his wife are actively involved with Central Church, serving in youth programs, Celebrate Recovery, and regularly helping through Hope for the City. When you work with someone who lives their life for Jesus with that kind of integrity and service, you know you're in good hands. It's rare to find a mechanic who can deliver this level of professional, high-skill repair work while also being someone you can fully trust as a person. I left with a Jeep that's running better than it has in years, and even more confidence in the shop that took care of it. There is no one who will every work on my Jeep besides Nick. If you want the best -- someone who not only knows the work inside and out, but runs his business with honesty, integrity, and a servant's heart -- this is where you need to go.
