FInding a rear rotor for my 08 GL1800 isnt easy unless i want to drop $912 for an oem one. But after looking through some gently used units and going over which one would be the best Cody took the time to help check them out and advise me which one. I didn't have a impact wrench on me so Kevin was kind enough to go ahead and stop what he was doing and lend me a hand with his impact. Upon taking off the CVT cover checking it out we both noticed the shrouds on the variator were shredded from the belt. Kevin provided me with all the parts necessary! He also helped me with placing the belt back in place and he practically showed me how to install everything and helped with the setup and installation of the new variator kit. In 20-30 minutes I had everything back up and running and I was riding once again. Thankyou once again to Kevin & Scooter Shop Las Vegas. If you didn't know Kevin is a intelligible, knowledgeable & more then qualified mechanic. I frequent often and I don't waste my time going to other mechanic shops for my scooter. Yes it is a dealership, so the ability to cut deals is minimal, they do try to tack on extras but a simple no gets those removed without any hassle or pushiness, and there is a bit of time involved mostly due to financing and them doing the final bike stuff to get it ready to ride out. All things that you should expect, so nothing came at a shock or had us frustrated. I don't feel like we got scammed, just make sure you know what to expect.
