I paid out of my pocket on top of it. I invested with Carshield warranty for Year's! I couldn't have done it without them You collected $800.00 core deposit fee on my old motor that Carshield and myself invested into being fixed. So I don't see where it was free. You pu.t a engine in from your wife's choice auto zone and it was a failure and you replaced it not once but twice ! I was told it was coming from somewhere else. I wouldn't have allowed a AutoZone motor. But your wife was employed with them once..I called and told Rosie your wife that the engine light is still on. She told me on a couple of calls she would see when you're available to look at it. I didn't ever receive those calls..I called and left messages. You both took me for a ride and you had the truck for what seem to be a year or longer..the engine light still comes on to this day. I pray you do better work on transmissions than you do Motors..It's good to hear you speak up? Everything went through your wife only. I'm surprised you didn't let her speakl for you this time too..Lesson well learned..

I arrived at 8:00 AM today for scheduled appointment and was greeted by Clayton. I don't think I've ever encountered a more personable, professional individual in the Auto Repair industry in my entire life! He greeted me with a big smile and immediately acknowledge my appointmen. Within five (5) minutes my car was back in the shop. They confirmed the leak in the flex pipe and quoted me a price CONSIDERABLY lower than I had anticipated. How often does that happen? An hour later I was back in my car and on my merry way! This is clearly a very well managed business that most other Auto Repair shops should aspire to emulate, but unfortunately very few do. Kudos to Monsieur Clayton and the entire Discount Muffler and Brakes Team!!! Merci beaucoup!

HONEST and FAIR are the words that sum up this shop's way of doing business. When you buy a used…read moreBMW like I did, you expect to have to maintain it and you know that it may be more expensive to do so than for other makes. That said, all I, or I expect other consumers, want, is to get an honest estimate and pay a fair price for competent work. This was my first time dealing with this place and they now have me as a customer for life. I first took my BMW to another European car repair shop and without evacuating my AC system, they jumped to the conclusion that my compressor control valve was not functioning due to purported debris in the system and wanted to charge me $4500 to replace the compressor and control valve, based on a technical bulletin that said SOME BMWs have required it. Luckily, I sought a second opinion from Werkstatte. They evacuated my AC and found it to be very low on freon. Obviously a leak. The compressor and its control valve however were functioning perfectly. So instead of paying $4500 for the repair, I paid $450. My system now is working perfectly (ICE COLD), and it has dye in it. At some point, I may need to fix a leak. But I won't need to replace a perfectly functioning AC compressor with its control valve. Thanks to Dillon, the Service Writer and to Anthony, the Tech, who are doing fair and honest work on BMWs in Henderson Nevada!

My Chevrolet carburetor went missing and was replaced with an unrebuilt Oldsmobile carburetor. My air cleaner housing that was custom decaled went missing. The air intake that feeds the air cleaner went missing. They purposefully deleted my computer, without my permission, by removing the ignition power wire from the harness and somehow blew the fuse in the process. Then they plugged in a computer from heaven knows what model of car and claimed they found it in my trunk. Why would I have a computer from a car different from mine? I'm a computer guy, how stupid do you think I am? They disabled all of my indicators on the dashboard by miswiring the connector. Something much deeper was done because after fixing the wiring harness they still do not operate. They removed the trouble indicator bulbs that would caution that something was wrong. Good thing I nagged them enough to get my car back before it became one of those unsalvageable from the large graveyard over there.

I was told it would take 2 to 3 months because parts are hard to get which was fair due to the current situation the world is in. First I never received any updates about car which isn't to big of a problem however it would have been good customer service to do so. Second I finally get the call that my car is ready and I was very excited to finally have my car back, but that would change quickly. I get my car back and first thing I notice is that I have a HUGE exhaust leak. I don't mind working on my own car so I went to look and found out that the pipe that connects to the headers was not sealed at all. So I bought a new seal and started to unbolt the exhaust just to find out that EVERY SINGLE bolt was stripped out!!!!!! I tell them about it and nothing gets done. It didn't end there I soon ended up with a coolant leak from my lower radiator hose because they reused the same 30 year old hose instead of spending a dollar to get a new one after I spent $4500 BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! I soon find out that my car burns a massive amount of oil. I was adding over 2 quarts of oil every 500-1000 miles. So I call them back up because this is should be under warranty. It took at least 2 weeks to get me in once I was in they told me about a week, I wait 2 weeks with no phone call. I call them and they tell me they are rebuilding the engine again. (that would have been nice to know) I finally go back they tell me "do you drive the car hard?" I tell them yes I take it to the mountains sometimes. They then try to play the blame game and tell me that it's my fault for running the car so hard. They obviously did not rebuild the engine right and I got blamed for it. I now have my car back and IT STILL BURINS OIL! At this point I am over it and I will deal with the problems my self. I was nothing but respectful and patient with them but yet I still got nothing but terrible attitude, blamed, and terrible work done to my car. There was also numerous other little things that went wrong such as broken dip sticks and the condition I received the car in. However if I get into that this review will turn into a book. Point is do not bring you car here, send the extra money on a good trustworthy shop. I am sure this guy will find a way to blame me for this or make up some excuse as to why all of this happened and how it's not his fault. I have seen how he replies to customers who didn't have a good experience and it is just sad how little respect he had for his customers. When you receive criticism from multiple people maybe it's time to make a change. But if this guy focused less on his google reviews and more on the quality of work he does maybe he would have less upset customers.
