Best repair shop in town - by far - for all makes and brands. Dale (owner) fixed a problem for me today that two dealerships in town wouldn't and/or couldn't find. He got me in to look at the bike within 24 hours and had the bike ready when promised. Excellent value for the service he provided - no big overhead, so no big charges. He is amazingly knowledgeable about bikes - correctly zero's in on problems right away. He will also upgrade/modify your bike too. I saw a Yamaha FZ-07 he pimped out and it was unbelievable! I can't wait to make some changes to my FZ-07! I could go on and on and on about how pleased I am with the service. Seriously, this is the place to take your bike. Racers Edge is the only place to get a dyno for a trike in Las Vegas. I took my newly restored 1982 Harley there for a dyno. There were a couple things my mechanic and I did not get tight enough on it and the vibration did loosen up some screws. The owner told me later he had misgivings about continuing the dyno. Nevertheless, he did. He could have stopped and told me but I guess his $75 was more important. After the dyno, they were bringing the trike off the machine. Here's their "mickey mouse" ramp system: two metal ramps for the back tires and boards for the front tire. Yes, the front tire board slid out and the trike dropped. From my angle, it appeared to be between 18 inches and 2 feet! The owner claims it could be no more than 12 inches. The trike hit so hard, the headlight popped out of the fairing. I'll take the blame on that one because I did not put washers on the well nuts. I removed the headlight and took it back to the shop. On the way back, the trike ran like crap. I also had electrical problems all over. I had paid their $75 and left. Had I stayed, physical contact was imminent because of the owner's attitude to push any blame on me. I confronted the owner by phone. He claimed the trike was put together poorly. My friend is a certified AMI mechanic and in the real world an A&P mechanic and test pilot. We could not locate the electrical problems so we had to take the as gas tanks off. The trike hit so hard 2 circuit breakers came out of their mounts. Those mounts were attached to the frame. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the trike had a very hard "touch down". That's why I throw out the owner's 12 inch drop claim. That was a hell of an impact! It took over five hours to remove the tanks find the circuit breakers and check the rest of the electrical system. Based on the time and labor involved, that would have been $400-$500 I would have had to spend if I had taken the trike to a regular shop. These are the LAST guys in the world I would ever take my trike. I don't care if I had to go to California or Arizona! I would never use this shop again for anything! Additionally, becaue I am a military retiree, I notified nearby Nellis AFB Legal Office to discourage any military from using this business.
