We had stopped by before on another day but the business was closed. Unfortunately there are no posted hours of operation. I got off early on a Friday afternoon and decided to drive by to see if the business was open. I was pleased to see the lights were on and the pharmacy open. Apopka Care Pharmacy shares a parking lot with other businesses so parking may be a bit challenging. I entered and waited in line has a customer was at the counter being tended to. The staff were attentive to the customer and engaged in friendly banter. When it was my turn, I approached the counter and explained the reason I was there. I was able to return the items without any issues.

Harrison's Pharmacy is located in the Dover shopping plaza on Curry Ford Road. If you are unfamiliar with this shopping plaza, it is the shopping plaza where Clemons Produce and the Daybreak Diner are located. Harrison's Pharmacy is next to the Daybreak Diner and a few doors down from Clemons Produce. The staff at Harrison's Pharmacy are friendly and professional. Again, it is good to see an independent Pharmacy surviving in a world that is definitely leaning more towards corporate monoliths. Harrison's Pharmacy is a glimpse into what yesterday was like. When I was a kid growing up in new jersey, we had a place called Phelp's Pharmacy and the owner knew us all and his son worked there. He was definitely a part of our community. I can't get that same vibe from a Walgreens or a CVS. Harrison's Pharmacy is definitely a part of this community. For that alone, they earn five stores. For their great customer service, they should earn more than five stars.

I have one day of medication left, so I called because it wasn't showing up. So my medication will be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday I believe. I still give them 5 stars. They will do anything for the customer that they can, and that is worth bringing their rating up. People are so picky and entitled these days, and it causes unnecessary negative reviews. Pharmacists work very hard despite them not carrying a shovel and pick are. Thank you Angel's, for bending over backwards for this guy... (me lol).

I was able to find and purchase everything that I needed today. The seafood was amazing and I purchased three pounds of fresh deveined shrimp steamed in old bay seasoning. I bought some Halloween candy for some goodie bags I will make. I got a freshly baked Cuban loaf of bread from the bakery and some freshly fried wings and a whole chicken. The owner was very sweet and answered all of my questions regarding the shower bench I was purchasing and showed me how to adjust all the parts and even offered to take it to my car for me. He didn't even mind when I called another supply store to compare prices before I made my purchase. The store uses a "square" register which is always convenient. I am only giving the store a lesser rating as the shop is on the smaller side compared to other medical supply stores I have been to, but they do have a nice variety of bathroom aids, medical hoisery, canes/walkers etc, and other miscellaneous supplies.

In my opinion they have the best delivery agents." With an endorsement like that, of course I am going to trust the experts. The shop itself is tidy, clean, and the staff is very friendly. I had a ton of questions and they answered all of them and had me ready to go out the door in less than 10 minutes. The pharmacist took the time to explain how the medication tube worked and the best methods for application. When I notified them I was going to need something to submit to my HCSA for reimbursement, I was given a printout which the insurance accepted without any questions. The pharmacist also told me that if I ever needed to have my medicine delivered to save me a trip, to call them and they would take care of it. You'd never get this type of customer service from a Walgreen's or a CVS.
