I had almost the BEST customer service ever at this CVS store yesterday! The cashier's name was Daniel. He took the time to actually look at me when he was checking my items and also carry on a conversation! There was no one in line at the time so I was also able to empty my coin purse to get rid of all that pesky heavy change weighing me down. I've been shopping at this location for many years. The pharmacy team is awesome. Unfortunately, when I ordered pictures 3 times through the app, the pictures were not printed. I called the store 4 times today. The 1st time I called the clerk was busy and asked me to call back in 5 minutes so she could help me. The 2nd time I called the same clerk said my pictures would be ready soon. The 3rd time I called, I spoke with a different clerk and she was very rude. I asked to speak with her manager and she hung up on me. I cancelled my picture order through the app. I am only giving a 1 star rating to the clerk who was so unhelpful. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - WINNETKA, California

So I go in to pick up my prescription today. There's no line. I go up to the pick up window. The pharmacist and tech is just there chatting away and it's about 5 minutes that I'm waiting. So I thought maybe they didn't see me. So I say "excuse me, I'm here to just pick up." The pharmacist goes "oh I know I'm just doing something right now". You need better people skills lady! If you saw me walk up, the right thing to do was to say "We'll be right with you." Not just say nothing. I don't care how educated you think you are, if you don't have common courtesy, you're stupid. Cleanest CVS in woodland hills, good and nice employees

I had been a patient of CVS for decades but no more. I also spend a lot of money on incidentals in the store. I will be getting those at Walgreens now. I'm in the top 4% of shoppers there but they don't care. The store is dirty and the pharmacist refused to fill an RX and I asked her if she could find out if another CVS could fill it because they are larger and able. She told me go ahead and transfer my prescriptions elsewhere and I asked if the other CVS could fill it and she said I don't know. She never got up from behind the filling desk and there were other patients that could hear the entire conversation. So much for HIPPA. She was rude the first 3/times but was happy when she told me to transfer them. It took me 4 trips to the store and one phone call from the pharmacist which she never followed up on. I switched to a small neighborhood pharmacy so the pharmacist can monitor my medications for interactions. The copay is the same. I went to a CVS in Tucson, Az for years when I was getting cancer treatment and loved them and the clean store. I would have given one star but the front cashiers are very nice and competent. been dealing with the pharmacy all day 9am - 530pm & haven't gotten anywhere. I'm trying to get them to call for an antibiotic so I don't get septic after a surgery but everytime my Dr calls the pharmacy back she just happens to be on break or at lunch. I understand that people are busy at a pharmacy on a saturday, but when someone calls more than 3 times about a prescription it should trigger the thought that maybe it's an important prescription & they shouldn't be rude to the customer because they are trying to get a life saving drug. I also don't appreciate being put on hold for 20 minutes every time I call. Iv never had a pleasant experience when dealing with the pharmacists at this CVS & therefore will be traveling the extra mile to go to another one in my neighborhood. read more

I don't know what these people are talking about?!?! I come here all the time and everyone is beyond nice and helpful including the pharmacy. Melinda is my favorite. I've never had a problem. Even when I needed a last minute refill they have chased down my doctor to help me out, which they didn't have to do. I appreciate everything they do. read more

This cvs does have many options but the customer service is not all that great. Yesterday I came with a friend to print out a picture and we asked one of the associates if she would kindly help us but instead told us sorry I'm busy go ask someone else and left. We felt very disrespected because she could have said sorry I have to attend the line but I can call someone else to help you. My friend told Her she didn't have to walk away like that. I went to buy medicine and some snacks. Cashier name Linda I asked her to do a price check she said there is a price checker scanner I need to go and check there. I asked her could you please check at the register she said no I need to go and check. I asked her again why can't you check here at the register she said she can't. I asked her ok then I don't need those just get me the rest. I don't know maybe my skin she was giving me dirty look. She was saying very rude way that next time if I come to shop here I need to scan check prices befor even I come to register then she gave me a total price I charged my card then I asked for bag she said I need to pay 10 cents I said ok and i handed a $10 bill instead of finishing my transaction she was taking next customer on the line. I asked her why can't you finish my transaction and take the next customer she said I have to wait. I asked her could I please speak with a manager on duty she said there is no one here then I asked her who is the general manager is he here to speak she said no he is on vacation. Then I asked her when is he coming back she said she doesn't know when he is coming back then I asked her could I get the corporate phone number she told me I need to google it. Was given a 45 minute wait time even though there was literally no one else in the pharmacy besides a couple drive thru customers. Came back in 45 minutes and was told to come back in another 30 minutes. Came back 30 minutes later and my prescription was still not filled. The pharmacist, Alice Geisman, said it would be done in a minute. She fills the prescription and begins walking to the register with it and I ask her if she applied the discount I get with CVS every time I shop there. Apparently this was too much too to ask for after making me waiting an hour and 15 minutes because she all of a sudden says "I don't want to fill your prescription". I ask why and she says my doctor has been flagged for fake scripts. Why didn't you tell me that when I first dropped off the script? Her response: "I didn't look at the prescription". So you're the pharmacist and you gave me a 45 minute wait time even though it turned out to be an hour and 15 minutes and you didn't look at the script??? I had a feeling she was lying about the doctor being flagged so I went to the CVS on Ventura Blvd and they indeed confirmed that the doctor was not flagged. Terrible customer service. A pharmacist that's a complete liar and discriminates and has no respect for other people's time. I reported the incident to the appropriate parties and recommend you never use this pharmacy if you respect your time and don't want to be lied to by Alice Geisman. read more

Always the same problem at this location. Severely understaffed. Only one cash register open most of the time.

I usually come to this location and although, I do agree they only have 1 register working and customer service is never a priority it is close to me. I was trying to return some items I purchased a month ago, but I didn't have a receipt so I checked out the return policy online, pretty standard no receipt returns you get a store refund card. I shop at CVS very often so that was fine with me. The cashier refused to follow that policy stating her store manager had a policy in place "no receipt no return". She said she can check if they were purchased but she needed a date, I didn't have my receipt how would I know the date? I had to force her to scan the items, she ended up returning 2 of 4 items and had the nerve to tell me the store manager has that policy in place because they get a lot of theft! I work in Customer Service, that is beyond inappropriate! Is this how you train your employees to accuse people of stealing?! And now your store managers make up return practices that are not in place by the company! Never going back to this location, I would rather drive farther out of my way!!! read more

I received nothing free, my mother was in there yesterday 9/2/18, to buy a phone card for a net 10 phone and instead ended up with a $30.00 long distance phone card, which had CVS's name on it, and when we went back in to exchange or return because it was the wrong type of phone card she needed, was told that it was not returnable. I do believe if a product has a stores name on it, they have some obligation to consider making it right, instead of telling a 85 year old women on oxygen and on a walker, they can't or won't take it back. This pretty much has done it for my going back to CVS in this location or any as they don't treat there customers correctly, prices are usually higher than most drug stores of this type - the Managers name was Troy something, who looked pretty frustrated with the responsibilities of being manager and went on about his job without a sorry to my Mother- I am in this area pretty regularly with the Marshalls/Homegoods in the same location, but will make it my task to go as far away from this CVS location as I can. If there was a less than one star rating, this CVS would get it. No way to treat the elderly folks of the community. Since I don't believe this will ever be reviewed by CVS Heirachy - it was probably not worth the time I took to write it. read more

I went to this CVS location to inquire about a flu shot on 1/12/15. Two pharmacists at this location are impersonal and lacking tact. The first pharmacist (later known to be Daisy) conversed by yelling over her dispensing table the amount of the flu shot. When asked about the amount with insurance, she directed me to the drop-off window from the consulting window. Another pharmacist (Melinda) took over. A second time, Melinda directed me to another window. I provided my insurance card and asked her how much it would cost with insurance. This other rude pharmacist (Melinda) did not even bother answer to respond as if I didn't exist and kept entering my insurance info in the computer. I asked this Melinda person if she heard my question and simply said yes. It is truly amazing that she does care. Forget about customer service, how about basic courtesy? I guess when you pass the pharmacy licensure exam, you no longer need basic courtesy and good manners because you think you are above any patient customer. This appears to be true to these unprofessional 'licensed' pharmacists (Daisy and Melinda). The saving grace for this location was pharmacist PAYAM, who administered the flu shot. Payam was well-mannered, accommodating, very knowledgeable and a consummate professional at his craft. Both Daisy and Melinda are a disgrace to CVS and their trade. They give the impression that don't want to be bothered. I hope they could learn a thing or two from Payam about common and basic courtesy. I do hope that the management of CVS is reading these remarks in order to improve their customer service and how these pharmacists handle their job besides counting the tablets/capsules and/or mixing formulas. Every customer deserves some kind of quality service. If the service does not improve, it could only mean one thing - THEY DO NOT CARE. read more
