I have been a customer here forever, I fill about 6 prescriptions per month. In May they made a major, potentially life ending medication error. They filled a blood thinner medication for 1.5 times the prescribed dose. The pharmacist who made the error, Rose, could have cared less. She was happy to turf it to her supervisor. There was no follow up, nothing! She was haughty and indignant when I picked up the error. Unfortunately I have to use CVS to fill my scrips because of my insurance, but please, if you use this store, check each and every medication. If at all possible avoid Rose ( she is the pharmacist in the leggings and sweatshirt and no identification). Corporate CVS needs to check out the operation of this pharmacy! The service at the store located at 601 North Broadway, North White Plains, has been on the decline for years. You never know who the pharmacist is going to be. They need to hire personnel with customer service experience because the representatives act as if you are doing them a favor. read more

I have lived near and been a customer for more than 20 years and the service has steadily gone downhill. My doctor sent a prescription on Monday at 2:23pm for medication that I needed that day. There was no notification from CVS. When I contacted them 24 hours later they still hadn't processed the script. Hours later they informed me that my prescription could not be filled without further instruction from my insurance company and only afterward informed me that they still needed a new prescription from my doctor after the office was closed. This has delayed my prescription from being filled for more than 2 days. This is unacceptable! I really wish Community Walgreens at 66 E Post Rd didn't close. I flip-flop between pharmacies and prices- especially when I buy my dog her insulin, eye drops and needles. But this CVS in particular...Rocks! Not to mention, tops the other one on Central Ave... in my opinion. I've been coming here for God knows how long- even when I used to print photos from my Digital Camera back in the day. Nowadays, I just stick to my dog stuff here. It's a huge stand-alone parking lot unlike that other one where folks have to compete for parking spaces with Bareburger, Tsuru and a few other businesses. I rarely buy personal items here because prices are a couple of dollars more than my fave Rite Aid. And my dog's Rx aren't necessarily that much cheaper either, but the ladies at the Pharmacy Dept. have great customer service skills and are incredibly patient, pleasant and so chill- all around. read more

Absolutely the worst!!! They NEVER have your medication, and to make matters worse, they make you wait indefinite amounts of time. They NEVER call you to let you know they don't have it in stock. Many times after hours so no doctor is available. They need to brush up on customer service skills AND alerting their customers that their medication is unavailable BEFORE wasting our time, traveling to the store and waiting unnecessary amounts of time to be told no medication is available by rude employees who seem overwhelmed and like they hate what they do. When we first arrived at our amazing experience at this lovely cvs pharmacy, we were greeted by the amazing staff members and they had what we were looking for. Old people weren't taken advantage of and the kind manager was even helping us blow up a balloon. Please come to this extraordinary cvs because it is the best one I've even been to. read more

I am a long time CVS customer, I recently visited the store in North White Plains, NY. I was very disappointed to see the parking lot and in front of the store littered with trash, frankly I expect much better from CVS. I could buy most items cheaper at Walmart or Amazon but I shop at CVS out of loyalty for local business. However, I am not willing to pay extra to shop at a littered strewn store. In my opinion it shows a lack of respect for their customers as well as the well-earned CVS brand. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I visited the CVS on North Broadway in White Plains, and the young lady in the pharmacy was the most rude, combative and disrespectful person Ive dealt with in recent memory. She started my expressing her annoyance to have a customer and her tone was so inappropriate that I told her I understand we sometimes have bad days but we should be careful not to take it out on others, but she snapped back with a rude response. I then asked for a manager to help me instead. When he walked over she said to him "YOU deal with her!" and walked off. At this point she began disparaging me to other customers in line and even remarked "the eclipse must've gotten to her" and began laughing. No one in line was a bit amused by her unprofessional behavior and wouldn't engage with her. Finally, the manager signaled for her to stop talking, but it was too little too late. Customers are at the pharmacy due to an illness or someone they're caring for - a parent or child - is sick and they're getting their meds..perhaps they just received a negative diagnosis or just not feeling well..so the LAST thing needed is to be unnecessarily disrespected and mistreated by someone handling their medication. I'm now looking for a new pharmacy. read more

Every time i go here, there is a problem at the RX counter. The clerks would rather argue than anything else. I had an RX that was covered for YEARS by my INS and then they suddenly no longer covered it and i had to pay out of pocket. This place knew that as they were the ones to inform me. They charged me the full retail. I changed to another CVS and they told me the same thing i would have to pay out of pocket BUT they also said "let me put this discount in the system for you" It was 35-40% less than what the creeps at 601 N Bdwy charged me. Avoid this CVS -There were many other problems as well- too many to detail. read more

The worst CVS store. This place is horribly run/ managed. Never more than 1 worker at a time. No one knows what they are doing. All of the items are mismarked and "expired" sale signs are up. The cashier went over and took the sale sign down when I tried pointing out to her the sale price of the item. Awful customer service. read more

CVS North Broadway - North White Plains, NY My family and I have been shopping at CVS for many years. There has been many problems with the pharmacy. Today was just the icing on the cake. I was told my prescription card was expired and that I needed to call my insurance. I told the pharmacy staff that my card does not expire, but the pharmacy staff ignored me and walked away. This was very rude and unprofessional. I left without my prescription. When I arrived home I called my insurance anyway. I was clearly told again that the card does NOT EXPIRE. I will be using a different pharmacy in the future. Also, I forgot to mention I heard them tell the elderly man behind me the exact same thing. read more

I LOVE the text message feature for prescriptions. Pharmacy staff is always helpful, pleasant and my prescriptions are always ready WELL BEFORE the requested pick up time. I just found out they sell stamps by the booklet at this location. Even though this is right next to the post office, it makes it super convenient. No waiting on a separate line or being worried about keeping your car in the CVS lot while you run next door. I hear CVS can be a little rigid on this. Coupons are automatically loaded to your card. I tend not to buy personal care items here unless I have a coupon. I find the same items are cheaper just up the street at Stop & Shop. (Although Stop & Shop selection isn't as extensive) The parking lot here can be a little hazardous. People drive like idiots and making a left turn out of the lot can be a bit ridiculous at times. read more

when I went to fill my prescription today,I waited in line for a half an hour to be told to go wait in another window,the help window,After another halfhour the girl asked what I wanted and I said my prescriptions and she told me I can't have it,it is too soon.I asked to speak to the pharmacist and she rolled her eyes.The pharmacist yelled across the pharmacy in front of all the customers, really my neighbors and said 11/22. I am supposed to know that that is the day I can pick them up.I explained I called yesterday and was told they would be ready in one hour.He says again 11/22. I asked him why,that according to my calculations it has been 29 days since I last got the medication, he repeats,11/22.This is a new prescription so I don't think it has the same rules as refills but neverthless he said he was busy giving vaccinations and I should come back on Monday.I showed him my ID explaining I am an RN and work 14 hr shifts and work on 11/22,maybe I could come back tomorrow,that would be 30 days,no come back on the 22nd.All this while screaming across the pharmacy. Totally ignoring my Hippa rights.I asked him his name and he first doesn't answer so I have to ask again and he says Nate.I asked Nate what? He answered Nate What, that is my name.A real class a JERK. I have been going to that store for over 30 years and this is the treatment a 60 yr old women gets when she goes in to pick up prescription I was told was ready the day before, They told me it would be ready in one hour the day before but a day later I can't pick it up? Not only that they had called my home 5 times prior to that to ask me if I want to pick up my prescription.I was so upset for the mistreatment and the other things this pharmacist said to me. I was so upset and disgusted.A little bit of power went right to his head and he feels like it is ok to treat me that way.No doubt he wouldn't have treated a man like that.I have heard him do a very similiar thing to a neighbor and I was so embarassed for her, and I have seen him act that way to other customers.I have called CVS corporate and await their call back.I never want to step foot in that store again.I wonder how Nate would like it if someone treated his wife or Mother like that. I will not let him get away with this.I pay for my medications and I pay for my insurance,who the heck does he think he is? HORRIBLE customer service. In addition to continually lacking inventory of late and not refilling prescriptions on time (even when confirmed by phone), this location has dipped even lower. I didn't think that was possible but it is. They are now booting all cars that use a business in addition to CVS while parked in their lot. While there are signs saying not to park there if using other businesses instead of CVS, a customer like myself who uses the post office and CVS in the same trip should not have to park his or her car twice in two separate locations in order to avoid being booted and ticketed $70.44 to have it removed. Conveniently, the towing company accepts $70 instead of the exact amount, as it's cash only. SKETCHY! The aforementioned company, ABC Towing, ONLY takes cash, so if you don't have it, you're screwed. I had to have a friend come to give me cash because my car was booted in the five minutes between going to CVS and going to the post office. The car that is dispensing said boots is unlabeled and stamps a uniform receipt pad (like those sold at Staples or even CVS) with "ABC Towing." Sketchy... I paid my fine and got the boot removed, but this location's manager, Joe (whom I spoke to both in person and over the phone), was totally unapologetic to me even though I had multiple prescriptions waiting for pick up at that location. I even had a voicemail from CVS on my phone advising me of this fact. He said that was irrelevant. Great customer service there, buddy! He said he can, "run his business how [he] chooses." I advised him I can review his business HOW I CHOOSE! And here it is. I will use another location from here on and have my prescriptions for myself and family members transferred to the location on Tarrytown Road by the County Center. That location has far better service and is always stocked and friendly. tl;dr - do NOT use this location if you value professionalism or if you just don't want to be treated like a piece of crap for parking in their lot. i visit this cvs from time to time and it's been a normal visit each time. it's a little away from the downtown area but it's less crowded and most of the time what i am looking for is available . the folks who work here are always helpful and don't stand around doing nothing they keep this cvs clean and organized and that includes the pharmacy . the parking can be an issue if you park in the lot and don't go inside cvs which a few folks do and when returning find a boot on the front driver side wheel, listen if you park in the cvs lot and don't go in then it's car owner beware . a cvs card is a must for saving money and for getting perks on future visits with printed receipts that offer sales from almost everything from a to z. read more

The worst experience of any CVS pharmacy. The store manager (James) doesn't talk to the customers. When I ask him questions he doesn't answer himself. Managers avoid customers every chance they get. The store manager seems to always treat his workers awful when I walk in and they work longer hours than him. They dont honor their yellow tags. They take advantage of old lady's with coupons. The managers then blames anything on customers or employees. They also purposely rescan items and managers don't take refunds even if you have a receipt. read more

Hooorible customer service. Used the kodak printing machine. First they did not want to answer questions, had to go back twice to check out the machine. Then they refused to cut the pictures for me, and not let me to borrow the cutter. They yelled at me for asking if can borrow the cutter. They also over changed me, $14 dollars for 2 passport pictures. The management is a mess. read more
