A fairly standard Walgreens with the typical stuff from A to Z. The pharmacy in the back area had more customers on line compared to the main area of store . They filled my script in an hour and the prices were so much less than CVS, and there was not a long line and they just handled everything quickly and easily. Worst place. Beware with your car if you leave in parking lot for even 1 second and walk to another store and then go to walgreens. They will boot your car and its 70 dollars and they will NOt cut you slack or care. Sister went to papa john not even 3 mins and then was going to walgreens. She doesnt speak fluent spanish so didnt understand the sign. She wasnt the only one either everyone around her got it also. Average Walgreens. Needed something and since I was in the area, I decided to come here. Most Walgreens carry the same stock as its other locations, so I knew their basic options. And while most locations have the same format, there was subtle differences here, but no issues. No problems with the minimal staff interaction I had. They do have a parking lot, but it's small and some drivers don't have a clue how to navigate it, so use caution. Not much else to type about this location. Aside from the NY Times claiming that Walgreen pharmacy employees are pushed beyond normal limits, this cascades down to the store level. You're often hung up and then told there are phone issues. If tired of waiting for the pharmacy to pick up, there's an easy solution. Call, select the option to speak with the store and then ask to speak with the store manager. I'm taking two stars away. Recently I was in their store looking for some items that I can't get at cvs. I was looking everywhere for an paper, this paper is usually near the register. I guess the cashier though I was going to rob her or something. She was very paranoid. True I had a mask on but I couldn't go into the store without one. So hey if your going to be jumpy anytime that a customer has to look for items near your register maybe you shouldn't be a cashier. Now usually that register is not open, the one near the cigarettes is, maybe she was on break I don't know. But I'm here thinking it's a case of racial profiling or she's just a nervous wreck. Great pharmacy. My husband and I were out shopping and realized we forgot our masks. We went to the drive through and asked the pharmacist if they had masks we could buy. She advised they had in the front of the store and to come in but after informing her about f our dilemma she came back with 2 disposable masks for us!! A review on Google couldn't have said it better: The second you pull in, you are immediately greeted by two guys sitting on paint buckets with a booting device and signs that say "warning if you do not walk directly into Walgreens you will be booted. Then when you walk in the store every single sale sign requires you to do some kind of math. For example "buy the first one at full price, get the second one 30% off and the third 50% off". It's impossible to just get a good sale price when you want to purchase one item. Then, when you get to the register, it's another embarrassment when they try and pedal their charity scams on you. They look you square in the eye and say would you like to donate one dollar, three dollars or five dollars? Then you can't even get past the credit card screen without pushing a series of buttons to tell them that you don't want to donate money to whatever they're peddling. Then, God for bid you don't have a Walgreens card, they won't do what ShopRite and Stop & Shop do, they will never scan a card for you. They will put an application in your face and demand a drivers license or passport or you cannot get the sale price. Since when do you need a drivers license or passport just to get the sale price at a local pharmacy? And, one of the biggest profit centers the have is still killing people with cigarettes. CVS took the initiative to stop. Walgreens doesn't care about customers in any capacity. They'll kill you with cigarettes, embarrass you with ssking for donations and then they'll boot or tow your car if you stay in the store too long. Had a COVID Booster shot scheduled. When I got there, the pharmacy was closed. "We could not get any of the pharmacists to work today" was the response from the front desk. Granted it was the day after Christmas but don't make appointments then. They would not even accommodate me for another day that week. This location is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered my prints on 10/24. This location is almost 30 mins away from my house and I have traveled there multiple times to no avail. The first time I went there and encountered a rude cashier who was threatening to leave her job and tell off the next customer who talks to her the wrong way. When I asked her who gives me the photos she told me to look at the sign at photo station saying "unavailable." She was clearly no help and a hot head so I decided to just leave and handle it another time. I then called the business at a later date to have a cashier say she can't check if my order is ready because she has a long line and I need to call back. I can't keep coming here to guess. I then came back two weeks later , the two workers helping me couldn't find my orders in the bins. So they pull up my orders on the Terminal and they had indeed got it on the system but no one prepped it. So then I ask her if I can come right back in 30 mins or so to pick up the prints after I run an errand. I come back a third time just for another worker to tell me , the machine is broken. He apologized for the other worker telling me to come back. I think that specific machine wasn't working for at least three weeks and they never wanted to admit it. This place advertises drive thru COVID testing, but you should not believe them. I had an 11:15am appointment. Arrived 11:10am. I was the 8th car in line. Waited 35 minutes. During that time, 2 cars were helped and one got tired of waiting and left. This place does not have the capacity to process the volume they are advertising. Only sign up if you have the time to wait 1.5+ hours for a test. I spoke with the pharmacy by phone. Totally pointless, they have no control or their service level or business operations. read more

Walgreens Port Chester is OK. They offer FREE parking for customers. Many of the other businesses on Main street don't. They still develop film. So if you have one of those old cameras that uses film (i.e. not digital), you can bring it to Walgreens & they will send it out to be developed. I've overheard people complaining about their photo service, but I've had decent luck with it. The photos prints are ok, and you can always take the negatives somewhere else for reprints. At least you know which ones are worth reprinting and which ones aren't. Prices aren't bad either. The people working there have always been very nice to me. It's fine. It's Port Chester, come on! It's basic basic. I've had a few conversations with the store manager there & the lady from Cuba. They were both very helpful. Too bad they don't have the "do it yourself" kiosks like CVS. I usually never have a problem at this Walgreens, the employees are pretty friendly. According to Yelp they are only open until 10PM but they are actually open until midnight on most days. I will send an update request to the admins. I was here last Saturday with two friends and we were all in line buying beer. We were celebrating my friends birthday. My friend showed her ID and she's 30 years old. Her ID has expired one day prior on her actual birthday and the cashier was giving her a hard time. I stepped in and I said my ID is valid and I'll buy the beer. She said no I couldn't do that because it was against their policy. We argued with her for a bit and said what difference does it make, I am buying beer too and none of us are underage. There is no crime being commited here. She apologized but stood her ground. My third friend in line who has not approached the register yet said ok whatever I'll just go get another one from the fridge and I'll buy it then. Now that she would allow. How silly is that? We left the additional 6 pack that she did not allow us to purchase at the counter with her, paid and left. While we were slightly annoyed we do understand there's a policy but it was just silly to make someone go get another new 6 pack when there was a perfectly good one sitting right there at the counter but hey whatever. We got what we came for. Just sayin' though, none of the other employees have ever given us a problem before. No matter what you do.... do not park in this lot and try to go shopping at another store. You will get your car booted. I've seen them do it to so many people before. In fact they did it to a friend of mine that was picking up a prescription while she merely stepped away to order some food and the restaurant directly across the street. She displayed her Walgreens receipt and he still tried to argue with her. It wasn't until she threatened to call the Police that he said he would remove the boot. The one younger women at the register is nasty and has an attitude, the man who's in the photo dpt. is not nice or just hates his job and gives bad service. I am so disappointed of Port Chester pharmacy staff they are rude no sense of customer service simply the worst. Yesterday I was quite busy time about 8:45 pm I was in New Rochelle try to still make it to pick up sleeping medication and the other day they fill a prescription and only give me 5 pills they claim they were out. Call during driving at least just to wait for 2 to 5 mins so i get my prescription the answer was " NO THE PHARMACIST NEED TO LEAVE" explain the issue the staff members replied drive faster. I work nearby and frequent this store at least once a week for random things. I walked in today and saw a friend we said hi and he walked me to the check out. I bought an item that requires the purchaser to be 18 yo and that's fine with me, I'm well above that. I showed the cashier my ID and he asks for my friends too. Mind you he's not standing with me nor does he have anything to do with my purchase. I just ran into him on a lunch break so he didn't have anything on him. The cashier proceeds to tell me he needs his ID too. For what?! I asked to speak with a manager who I can clearly tell isn't the regular store manager, I know this because I've been here before and seen them before. This "manager" has an attitude as soon as he comes to the counter. I explain the situation and he won't even hear me out. I ask if I was to leave the store and walk in again without my friend will there be an issue and he says yes because he knows we're together BUT WE WERENT! Using their online service, I ordered a photo print that makes a 2X2 passport photo. When I tried to pick up, I was astonished to see that they REFUSED to sell the print. They said passport photo MUST be produced here by using their service, and they REFUSED selling my prints. Store manager was arrogant and unable to communicate. He cannot pick and choose what to print. It is a shame that a large public company has such a low quality store manager. read more
