Two years ago a loud, brash pharmacist (owner?) berated me over the phone for daring to ask about a particular methylphenidate ("don't you know no one has these medications in stock??"). Today, after our child was prescribed a new medication, a woman pharmacist approached me at the counter to say "Just so you know, we try to reserve these medications for our long-term clients." I reminded her we had indeed been coming here for at least two years, but, wow, what an assumption. Beautiful cards and wrapping paper, but beware, anyone with a sick family member who has never been to this 'community' pharmacy before.

This pharmacy made mistakes filling my prescriptions that no pharmacy should make. When I tried to…read moreexplain the problem they were beyond dismissive and disrespectful. I told them I wouldn't fill my prescriptions there anymore and they told me not to come back to the store. Some time later my pregnant wife was in the store for something other than medicine and the owner was aggressive toward her and told her to leave the store. Avoid this place like the plague.

I think it is time for another chain to take over this business. It's in a convenient location but…read morethe pharmacy has major problems. One of my prescriptions they have not had for 3 months. They send me to another Walgreens a few miles away each time. This time, I found out that they just transferred the entire prescription to the other store. This was without my asking and I still don't know why they never have this. Today the pharmacy is closed altogether. This time it is because of a lack of pharmacist. They have a sign out saying to go to another store. There used to be a Rite Aid in Chappaqua but when Walgreens bought most of Rite Aid, they closed up the existing Rite Aid location (which is now vacant) and this store took on their business as well. You would think with double the clientele, the store would do better but evidently not. Unless they make major improvements, it is time to move on to another pharmacy.

If you need to ask a question it is the same problem. I have been placing orders online to avoid wasting my time at the store. Today, I was very busy and decided to place an order for vitamins on line and I noticed that they had a deal buy one get one free. I went to the store at Pleasantville Rd. to pick it up. When I got to the car I realized that there was one bottle instead of two. I went back and nobody was at the counter. After looking around I found the employee that gave me the bag and I explained the situation to him. He told me he did not know and send me to the pharmacy. At the pharmacy I was told that I would have to speak with the manager. They called her several times and after a while she showed up. She told me she could not give me another bottle and I asked what was the reason because on their website they had buy one get one free. Then she asked me to see my order and I gave her my cellular, she kept checking. Next she asked for my credit card and an ID. She tells me "you only order 1 bottle" I told her I tried several times to change it to two and the system did not allowed me to do it but it showed in red BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. I was getting frustrated because I had lost a lot of my precious time and asked her to keep the vitamins and to give me a refund.

And he had a fabulous supply of pet meds at very reasonable prices. As an added plus, vaccinations are painless. So much better and more personal than the big chain pharmacies and pretty much the same pricing.

You immediately took charge! I offered to follow-up, but you said,"I'll take care of it"& you did. Before your day was over you called me and filled me in. The next day the Doctor's office and you together were able to correct the confusion. That evening on your way home you delivered my mom's medication to her door but not before calling me and letting me know the price of her medication. She had a check written out before you arrived. I was so pleased that you attend to our needs without hesitation. Excellent Customer service, with customized/personalized care! This is very rare. You went far beyond simply filling a prescription! Thank you Marty! Now I know why mom was adamant about using Prescription Center of Ossining! Everyone should.
