Obtaining my prescription medication for my adult ADHD has been challenging, with constant shortages. Rye Beach Pharmacy has been the ONLY pharmacy that has managed to fill my prescription. I have had to temporarily switch my medication to one that is now affected by shortages, but once again this pharacy came through, especially Yaci, who managed to get me the last of their generic stock, saving me over $100 for a two week supply. Thank you Rye Beach AND Yaci! read more

Excellent service. I need a medication compounded and they did it for me quickly, at a fair price, and with excellent communication the whole way. Special shout out to Mario for making this an exceptionally smooth and painless transaction. Awesome! Top Notch service from people that genuinely care. read more

Amazing service and selection. The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped me find an obscure piece of medical equipment for my mom without my needing to go back. Thank you! read more

Ok pharmacy. A bit pricey. The problem is with the guy who works in the vitamin department. You'll be in a cramped aisle, browsing, and this guy will start a conversation with you. Correction: launch into a monolog about his expertise. He's snarky, thinks he's funny, and you will feel terribly uncomfortable. Without warning he'll load you up with $100 plus of supplements you never wanted. When it happened to me, I smiled and walked to the counter pretending I was going to buy them. Instead I left them on the floor. I went somewhere else to get the B12 and Vitamin D that my doctor recommended. And NEVER go to the Rye Beach Pharmacy to have this guy notarize something. He insulted my clothing, made fun of my name, asked me if I "knew who he was" when all I needed was for him to show me where to sign and stamp the document. read more

The staff was attentive, kind and personable! I rented a knee scooter from them for two months. I can honestly say me and this knee scooter went all over NYC together. When I returned it, I had to look at it one more time and thank it for the memories. They helped me bring it out to my car and allowed me to return the scooter the day after it was due in accordance of my doctor's appointment. The experience was great and I can't wait to come here for some HILARIOUS & Quirky gifts! I love this place! read more

Rye Beach Pharmacy is one of the last few great pharmacies in the area. The staff is very helpful & knowledgeable. The store is clean & well organized. They offer compounding services & more. The best part? They pick up the phone when you call & consistently provide top notch customer service. Came recommended by a top local private practice doctor & others in the community. This is the model all pharmacies should aspire to. Many thanks to the kind staff (Celeste is great!) & business owner(s). read more

Well stocked Helpful. Pricey. Tight aisles, and limited choices but what they have is good.

I am so impressed by Rye Beach Pharmacy. First time compounding my naltrexone and they went above and beyond. To start, they were helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable when I had questions about what they would use as a filler (not all fillers are equal). On top of that, they were easy to get on the phone (so important), they found my insurance info for me and applied it automatically, and they delivered the script in a timely manner to my house the next town over for $4! Most importantly, when I was breaking up my standard dose of naltrexone it was making me feel ill after consecutive days taking it, I was feeling nauseous. With their compounded medication, I feel amazing, all the positive benefits of my medication with none of the negatives. So glad I found Rye Beach Pharmacy! read more

Went the for HRT and met with Roselle. Going in for the first apt was great. She was very thorough but that was it. There's no connection between what was discussed at the in-take apt and what she prescribed. It seems she prescribes the same medication to all women. I called and emailed several time after the first apt to get more information and she NEVER returned my calls. Then it became and issue refilling the prescription every month. I would have to call and call. The last time it took over a month with several calls. Then the next month no medication and I left a message. Nothing. I was going on and off of medication and that was worse for me. I went back to my doctor. I really had high hopes for her but I feel like it's a total scam. read more

Rye Beach Pharmacy is staffed by friendly personnel, and knowledgeable and helpful pharmacists. It's nice getting to speak with a live person after a minimal pause and not having to wait on hold indefinitely. Rye Beach aims to accommodate and please their clients, which is why I will never go anywhere else (unless they can't get a medication for whatever reason). Thank you for taking care of me and my family! read more

I just had to get a compound done for a trip very last minute...I was hate being late with a request like this but Alicia was so helpful and accommodating. Frank called to say it was its way in no time. This place knows customer service in the old fashioned way! What breath of fresh air to have a company actually react and help when you need them the most!!! P.S. The shopping there is awesome if you need any gift giving items as well! read more

Wanna go back in time? Just take a stroll thru the charming Rye Beach pharmacy, a place which retains all the character and personality we lost when CVS and Rite Aid became everyone's go to drugstore. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they have just about everything you could need from scripts, to fragrances, and of course, all your typical drugstore goods. read more

My son needed an emergency seizure medication. The only place that had it was Rye Beach Pharmacy. I was so happy that they were willing to mail it out to me. We live in Queens...When I would call the pharmacy, the staff was professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again for all your hard work. read more

One of a kind in today's world. For many years I have found that going to Rye Beach is a comfort and a delight. I go past many pharmacies to get there because it is such a joy. I get my vaccinations there just for the pleasure of the store. Our daughter from out of town enjoys picking up a wheelchair rental for her father. It's an oasis no matter how sick you are. read more

Was looking for face masks, as the flu is rampant in my family. The girl behind the counter was rationing them out of a box and limiting the purchase to 10 masks.... all while coughing all over the open box!!!! Totally unsanitary!!! read more

Excellent in every way! Of course it's great for prescriptions - you can even have delivered(!!) and added to your house account (!!) - but they also have darling gifts for young and old along alike; a wonderful supplement selection complete with knowledgeable staff to help figure out what's the best fit for you; and the everyday things like toothpaste & deodorant that'll save you a trip to the grocery store. They will always go above and beyond for you. A true local gem! read more

I've been on the phone a couple of times with the pharmacy's staff . They were amazingly helpful, they solved issues related to my med right away. Incredible nice people. Everything changed when I went to pick up my medication. The first guy I encountered( the cashier) wasn't friendly at all, he called the person I had to talk to, I hoped he was nicer, I had been on the phone with him and he was very good, so I expected him be absolutely nice. He wasn't nice at all. He literally threw the medication to me. He didn't say hello, smile or something closer to be polite. Definitely I'm not coming back! Thanks guys, I prefer to go to NYC and deal with Apthorp Pharmacy, awesome customer service, on the phone and in person. read more

We get our family's prescriptions filled here. This place is right across the street from Playland, so I usually try to avoid the area during the summer when all the crazies are out. Traffic is no fun, obvs. They have a lot of random items in here. It's the best way I can describe it. One section of the store is for home items. Another for kids. Another for items like shampoo, body wash, etc. another for vitamins and supplements. Another for candles and fragrances, body lotion, jewelry, makeup. It's quirky and I love all the options. They do allow you to make house charges on anything you buy. They also deliver your prescriptions to you if you refill something--you just refill it on the phone. The wait for a script to be filled can take a bit if you don't have your doctor call it in for you. That is the one drawback. read more

It was my first time dealing with this conglomerate on Monday of this week. First, it took 4 days to get the prescription right - then they delivered it to the wrong address, then stated that it was delivered to the correct address so the issue of not receiving the medication took longer to resolve. I was charged, my ins company was billed, and I received no medication. Actually still waiting .. 5 days later. Moral of the story: DONT LIE. And I now do not trust them. At all. And I will not be going back to this pharmacy. read more

This is NOT your average pharmacy. Very old school, hands on approach, when it comes to prescriptions, which is nice. It has the feel of a 50's type pharmacy in the back where they really get to know their clientele. NO comparison to a CVS in this respect. So if you are looking for an experienced pharmacist who can actually give a thoughtful and educated response to questions or you require a little more hands on care, this is your place. Also, they are one of the few compounding pharmacies around. The retail portion of the store is really more like an upscale gift shop and beauty bar. They carry all upscale beauty and skincare products. Also, better selections of toys, gifts and beach products. They carry a very large selection of gift cards from Papyrus and some scented oils, candles, and better diffusers for the home. HOWEVER, with these better products comes a LARGER price tag. Expect to pay top dollar for everything in the store. Definitely very convenient if you don't want to run all the way to The Westchester for certain items, but be ready for your wallet to feel it. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Love Rye Beach Pharmacy, and especially Love Rosella Menta, who specializes in bio- identical hormone therapy. She's super knowledgeable, thorough, and she thinks outside the box. She makes it her personal mission to get to the route cause of your symptoms, and I'm so grateful to have found her! read more

The owner of this pharmacy is extremely rude. He calls me to tell me that I shouldn't get a COVID vaccine because I wasn't 65. ( I will be 65 next week). I signed up on his waitlist as a public school teacher who is in the 1B category so I am eligible for a vaccine. He accused me of getting a forwarded email from someone besides him. I proved to him that I did get the email from him and that I legitimately signed up on a waitlist. He then says that he is not the government and he can decide who gets his vaccine supply. In the meantime I cancelled another later appointment that I had. So now I am without either appointment! He then hung up on me leaving me stranded! Truly not a nice person!! read more

If I could give 20 stars I would. RBP deserves a praise for the way they conduct business all around. The wait is never longer then 7-10 minutes to fill a prescription, unless there are problems with the patient's prescription or insurance company. The store is well stacked, and they take special orders for next day delivery. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. A pleasure to go there. No wonder they are in business for over a half a century. read more

This pharmacy is highly unprofessional. Do your research and google them before having a compounded script filled. Someone recommended Unity Pharmacy in Fairfield, CT for Hormone Replacement Therapy and they are far more organized and professional. Rye Beach uses a woman named Rosella and the whole thing seemed sketchy. read more

I don't know why Samantha G. thinks this pharmacy is "sketchy". I've shopped here for years and always found Rosella and the rest of the staff to be VERY friendly, dedicated, and professional. It's obvious this lady's hormones are out of whack. read more

I highly recommend Rosella Menta from Rye Beach Pharmacy, specializing in BHRT needs for women. You won't find a better pharmacy with a better selection of supplements, herbal tinctures and homeopathic remedies! I've been here a number of times now. My first time I was very impressed as they really seemed on top of their game and totally service oriented. But the last two times no so much. They compound medication (a good thing) for our pet but the last two times I came to pick up the prescription there was a mistake. Not good. Of course they fixed it when I came back, but there's a breakdown somewhere that needs to be straightened out. read more

This is a true pharmacy -- the way they used to be. The first time I came here they were greeting the majority of their customers by name, which I took to be a good sign. They do all their own compounding in a lab upstairs and are incredibly knowledgeable. I also like that they are family owned. No matter what your question someone on their staff is sure to know the answer. Browsing their aisles is interesting too. They have everything from kids toys and great lotions to an incredible selection of supplements and homeopathic remedies. The location at Westmed in Rye is also good but it's significantly smaller and then you don't get to meander the aisles while waiting for your prescription to be filled. :) I've had them deliver a couple of times and it was very convenient. Even though I live about 20 minutes away I try to come here to support an independent pharmacy. Really can't say enough good things about this pharmacy. read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews but I had to share my experience today with Rye Beach Pharmacy. I realized last night that I was out of the medication I had been taking to support a brand new pregnancy, and I found that RBP was the only pharmacy in Westchester that carried it (had been previously been sent it from my insurance company's mail order pharmacy for fertility drugs). My doctor called me in a prescription for it this morning, but when I went to pick it up, I found that their pharmacy closed early on Sundays. They had no way of letting me know because I had never been there before and my phone number was not on file. Panicking, I called the store and heard the option on their automated menu to page a pharmacist after store hours, which I did. Immediately, the owner called me back. I explained the situation and he said he'd reach out to the pharmacist to see if they could figure something out. The pharmacist, Steve, called me a few minutes later to tell me that he was going to drive up from his home in City Island to meet me at the store in 20 minutes. This lovely man met me, unlocked the store for me, gave me my prescription, and could not have been kinder. This level of customer service was unlike anything I've EVER experienced before. I will never get my prescriptions anywhere else (turns out they deliver to my house a few towns away too!). Thank you Steve and Ken for helping resolve my desperate situation and taking time out of your weekend to go so far out of your way for a customer. read more
