Also, there are more self check out lanes than cashiers at the front so that is annoying but on to the review: I was using self checkout and following the instructions to place my bag on the self checkout counter when the prompt froze. The associate that helped me didn't look at me, scan their card and then waved her hand at me to to signal that I should remove the bag. I was really taken aback by it, especially since when she was done she said oh it didn't recognize your bag. Sure, but if I'm at self checkout and the prompt tells me to do something and the software and hardware don't connect, is that the customer's fault? I hate late stage capitalism. Anyway, this CVS gets my standard 3 star rating, because they are all just "OK".

On August 25th, I purchased purchased a one ounce bottle of Dior Poison at the 182 South Ridge Street location. The perfume is either spoiled or counterfeit and smells rancid. Unfortunately, the box was accidentally thrown out. I brought the product as well as the receipt to the store where it was purchased and the Associate was unwilling to return it without the box. I was told to call the Customer Service help line while I was still in the store. The customer service agent at the 800 number was able to bring the purchase up on her system. However even with that having all of information on her computer screen, she was not able to assist in helping the the store personnel in returning it. This is infuriating that CVS will not accept back a return with the receipt and all of the relevant information at hand. I have continued to patronize CVS out of convenience and gratitude for the great staff at he 253 South Ridge Street store despite the high prices for both prescriptions over the counter medication, everyday and grooming products. I will be moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy which has much better pricing on prescriptions and every day items. There is always a way for a store to make an exception, especially for a customer who has spent thousands in purchases over the years.

I was on the phone with the insurance company and back-and-forth in there three times and still didn't get my medication. The business day was over. Had to wait till the next day the next day I called the hospital had them send the prescription to 182 South Ridge St.where I walked in got my medication covered by my insurance and wasn't even a question not one problem at all
