Waiting is the name of the game. Even when there is no line, prepare to wait 20+ minutes. If you call this pharmacy to ask a question, prepare to wait. If you come in for a vaccine appointment, bring a book because you're going to wait. I dread coming to pick up prescriptions here because I know that it will take at least 45 minutes out of my day between parking and waiting in line. In a salient example, I came here for a vaccine appointment that I had made online two weeks prior. When I arrived, I waited a few minutes at the vaccine window, and then got into the prescription pick-up line because I also had an Rx to get. As I was waiting, someone called me over to the vaccine window, so I got out of line and went there. I asked them if I could also get my Rx because I was waiting in line for that, and they told me no, that I'd have to get back in the Rx line (which was about 5 people deep at this point). Then, I heard the employees speaking amongst themselves that the vaccine person wasn't "here today" because they worked a double yesterday, and they told me that "it was gonna be awhile for the vaccines". So, I get back in line to get my Rx, wait, and they called me over for the vaccine when I was the next to get my Rx. Horrible. For how busy this city is getting, having a pharmacy open at 10am on a Saturday is ridiculous. Staff is meh, very transactional , not super friendly. It's really unfortunate because this location is so close and now I would rather drive somewhere else for better service. read more

The cashiers/employees here are consistently racially profiling customers. The one hispanic guy is passive aggressive, rude and unprofessional each time I am making a cash purchase. He takes my money and holds it up to the light even though I have been coming here for years and he is new. It's a hispanic/asian guy with nasty customer service. Also, I have NEVER used fake money. Save your time and read the other reviews on this location. Your day will be RUINED by their nasty attitudes towards black people. Go to the Target CVS instead please. read more

Worst customer service ever! Came in here because it was the closest one to where I was but every member of the staff was terrible including management. This location should be closed permanently or get all new management and staff. They all need training in customer service because they have none. read more

Where was I going to go to get my booster shot? CVS sling with many other pharmacies are offering free shots. All you have to do is make an appointment on their website. I was impressed with the efficiency. I made a 12 noon appointment and I was processed and seen on time without any delays. My pharmacist did a great job and I was very impressed with the little " vaccination room"! read more

I might be the outlier here, but I've been pretty satisfied with this CVS. I needed a Rx filled on an emergency basis, and they were able to do it. It is a very busy pharmacy, and they could use more staff, but that's a problem pretty much everywhere. read more

Terrible, rude, un-professional and so unsanitary/dirty. It is the most affordable yes, and it has easy access for seniors and disabled people to get there with the Beeline, but if you can go ANYWHERE else, pay a little more, walk a little further, do it. NOT WORTH IT, you get what you pay for with this place. I had an Rx called in on a Friday morning and wasn't back in town locally to pick up said Rx until that next Tuesday, which gives them almost two whole business days to get that Rx or contact me that it wasn't going to be filled immediately. I didn't hear anything, and after trying to call and having no one pick up the phone I walked down to the store itself. Right away you walk and see trash everywhere. There were pill packages and left over medicine boxes all over the place and near the register. I was told by the register person that the meds hadn't even been ordered Friday. That NO ONE had ordered them Monday or that Tuesday morning. They told me to come back tomorrow, and I asked for the manager's name. Apparently, he was there and asked what I wanted his name for. I said to make a complaint. He tried to tell me about the meds HE didn't order, and how it would take a few days because of yadda yadda. I told him, I had been taking this Rx for over 17 years and never had this problem, ever. I then called corporate and they were no help either. The manager in charge of their customer relations line, pretended we had a bad connection until I asked her a particular question, then she started losing it over the phone. I ended up having the Rx sent to the Rite-Aid in Hartsdale. They filled it in less than 12 hours. They called to tell me, and they were super helpful when I went to pick it up. I wish I could give this pharmacy as a company and all of its pharmacy staff ZERO stars but I can only go as low sas one star. First, good luck ever getting a phone call answered. Second, good luck getting the right answer from them if they do answer. Third, they will lie right to your face and tell you anything they feel to uptick the prices and then when theyre called out on their practices they apologize. No customer service at Photo Department, ALWAYS. Pharmacy people called for assistance couple of times with no avail. They tried, and were very helpful Front area cashiers are okay, but should concentrate more on ringing up merchandise than yapping all day. Too much talk, too little work, it seems. This CVS is terrible, there's never anybody at the photo department,can't take passport pictures. Cashier always talking to each other about customers right in their faces. No customer service at all at the front registers. No one on the sales floor to ask for help. The reason why the employees are bad are because of the management. God forbid you ask the pharmacy to do anything. I usually go to this pharmacy for my regular birth contriol but I have gotten the flu. I called to authorize someone to pick up my prescription for me and there was one prescription missingg. I called the dr and they said they sent it, I called the pharmacy and they said they never received it. I told them that doesn't make sense because they received three out of four of the prescriptions, and I just talked to the dr who said theY sent it. I asked them to call my doctor to figure it out and they hung up on me. Called back the doctor to send it AGAIN. Hopefully it works read more

If only I could give this hell hole 80 or negative star review. On Tuesday I went there and purchased A $32 item for help with diabetic nerve pain in my feet. After leaving the store and not even going home yet I noticed it had expired the expiration date was August 2019. As soon as I noticed this I immediately went back to the store and the employee that rang me up was still there. They claim to have a policy where because of the coronavirus they are taking no returns. All I wanted to do was exchange it for one that was not expired. They refused one of the managers said I had to call corporate and when I asked for the number and employee gave me a number and I called it while in the store and later was told I had not called corporate the person on the phone then spoke to corporate or at least they said they did and I was supposed to get a phone call by today from them. I have not gotten a phone call from corporate yet but if I do I will let you know. I didn't open the box I return to the store as soon as I saw it was expired I just wanted another one. If this is how CVS serves their customers, shame on them. I am on disability and I don't have $32 to throw away. A manager called my husband today to let him know that he would be willing to take back my return and give me a full refund. I went there and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful this gentleman was. Completely different from the other day.I am willing to give the Cvs another try. read more

I have to wholly agree with John P. and wish I saw his review earlier, except that this happened to me at 9pm tonight. I parked right outside the door on Court Street after turning from Martine, since there was a spot right there, and parking on Mamaroneck can be iffy. My boyfriend wanted me to pick up some cold medicine for him, so I figured I would run in before our sushi was ready down the street. I entered the store at around 9:02 and left at about 9:09. I know this based both on my receipt and that I was on the phone with a friend who called while I was there. The first set of doors was open, but the second set was locked. I saw an employee, and she said she didn't know the alarm code and quickly changed her story to not having the key. I said she just needed to turn the lock behind me, but she was waffling as she mumbled something about her manager. I went back to the register and asked the cashier. He said his manager needed to open it, but when he called, the manager said that when the pharmacy is closed, that door is closed...except that the metal gate for the pharmacy was already down when I came in to the store? I asked if they could please open the door because my car was right there, but I was flat-out refused. That is horrifically poor customer service, and it is also a safety issue, considering some of the things a person has to walk past to get back to Court Street read more

They don't know you and you always wait on line. Why bother with a corporate pharmacy? I switched to Stratton nearby and it's like walking into your own home where everyone knows you. Crazy to use cvs rather than your friendly neighborhood pharmacy. read more

Ordered photos from this store online, was told they would be ready the next morning. Get to the store, the photo center is 'closed' according to the pharmacist. They call the manager over, they say that the machine to print photos is down, the new part is coming Monday. Fast forward to the following Saturday, the pictures are still not ready and the photo center is closed. I ask the manager to cancel the order, she tells me she can't because "she doesn't know how to do that" and tells me to come back a third time next week to have them cancel the order. I tell her to simply communicate to her staff that the order needs to be cancelled, and I gave her my contact information. She takes my info, tells me "ok I will, but I should call Tuesday to make sure it's really done." If this is how poorly they handle something as simple as photo printing, I would be horrified to have them handle my prescriptions! read more

i disagree with all the bad reviews and everyone has his or hers opinion but this white plains cvs that has entrances on church and mamaroneck ave is ok with me.my only knock is the checkout area which needs a better line system cause you really don't have a clue where to stand and folks tend to be confused at times .the place inside is spacious with aisles clearly mark with products neatly on the shelve for the most part . i also get a good morning and a hello , just remember if something is on sale it usually sells out as i notice walking around aisle to aisle . the basic cvs stuff and the pharmacy is also here but i never used the service so i can not comment on that department . overall it's ok and it is open 24/7 which is a plus when you need that after midnight snack run. read more

Be prepared to do some walking if you park on Court Street and use that entrance after 9:30 pm. The manager Tom Van Doren locks that door and refuses to let customers out. While his bosses would like customers to believe that CVS means convenience, value and service, they forgot to teach that to Tom. read more
