My wife and I have been dealing with this pharmacy since long before covid, at least 15 years. Yes, pharmacists and pharmacy techs change and yes, the counter can be very busy at times. I have always been treated with respect and have been given apprpriate advive when needed. These people are not dispensing motor oil or gardening supplies. They are providing medications that go into yor body and the bodies of your children and parents. Accuracy takes education, time and caution. Additionally, no one in the pharmacy sets the prices. In fact, when possible, the pharmacist may suggest a discount site thea may save money, not that their required to do so. Geoff Jakiel read more

This pharmacy is horrible! The staff is lazy and brain-dead. Over 15 minute wait for prescriptions that are READY every time. Unfriendly staff who have no idea how to do their job. read more

Asst. manager in training cheerfully fixed my mistakes at the checkout when I messed up my order trying to use coupons. Busy afternoon but he handled this complicated transaction with friendly service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would... horrible staff interaction. Rude and very unhelpful. They need to update their website and not be so RUDE to me when I come in for something (that was featured on the website) and they don't actually provide it.... Find a different place to go. read more

If I could give no stars I would but have to give one to post the review. The minute clinic staff is rude as well as the pharmacy. I would not go there at all. They don't need to be so unprofessional and it's obvious they hate people as well as their jobs. They need a haul over and hire people that actually have the ability to see past themselves. Disgusting . read more

Do you have zero stars??? This place is so unprofessional and down right rude. I can't believe corporate continues to allow a pharmacy like this to still conduct business. The pharmacist is so arrogant. He thinks he's a doctor and sadly he doesn't know much. He barked at me that he's credentialed and I laughed. He didn't realize I have masters and am licensed in the state of Ohio. Unbelievable the way they make you wait...they take there time. I rang the buzzer once after waiting for 15 minutes and when they came over they literally yelled at me! I'm not a child, so do not scold me. This pharmacy is pathetic and so are the employees!! Beyond unprofessional!! There really needs to be an option when the business should not get any stars! read more

The minute clinic experience was excellent. But this was not my first bad experience with this pharmacy. Not at all. The pharmacist on staff was rude to me and is a smart Alec This time the lovely minute clinic nurse gave me a prescription for augmentin. The young pharma tech with very dark thick long hair read the prescription to the pharmacist and called it amoxicillin I corrected her and the pharmacist laughed not funny. She was looking at the prescription name and got it wrong!! Now if I was allergic and I had not corrected her that would have been a big problem . read more

Every time I come here to pickup a prescription it takes too long. The people are not friendly and the drive through is the worst. I wish it wasn't so damn close to my house because I'd switch in a heartbeat. read more

Do not use this pharmacy. I have only been with them a couple months and they're terrible. Unorganized, rude, and always backed up. Save yourself the hassle read more

Their voicemail system is truly obnoxious. I had to spend 5 minutes fighting and struggling to be connected with a live person to resolve my question only to be dumped down the chute and not connected when the system finally attempted to put me through. Imagine if I was having a medical emergency and had to tolerate this bull$h*+. 1 star for non-existent customer service. read more

By far the best cashiers. Never waiting and always nice and friendly. Who ever hires these folks, good job! I'm in retail so I'm could be the worst critic. Prices could be lower. That's not the employees fault. Hopefully they are paid well read more

Completely understand when pharmacy is busy, especially during trying Covid times and am more than willing to be reasonably patient. Spouse had surgery today so I tried to drop off script through drive through. After 20 minutes of slow or no movement and line bring too long I went in and was told it would be 45 minute wait. After one more hour I left without saying a word and figured I'd come back in another hour, which I did. Pulled into drive through and was fourth car. After another 40 minutes I was finally up. No complaint from me whatsoever until she told me it wasn't ready yet. Now we are three plus hours into this nightmare while spouse needs pain meds. Tech said sorry but they were busy. I said spouse had surgery and really needs medication. Pharmacy tech unsympathetically said we'll text you when it's ready if you like. I asked why they didn't offer that as an option three plus hours ago and she had no response. The absolute worst pharmacy. read more

I strictly go here to get my extreme couponing on...But mainly I go to the one in North Olmsted. This CVS gets very busy and you usually have to wait, especially for people like me who are doing multiple transactions, go ahead do something. Anyways, it's always stocked with what I need so I can't complain. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Westlake, Ohio

Brick and mortar chain druggist. No where near the service provided by the few remaining mom and pop independent retail pharmacies left in the area. That being said they do occasionally have some decent specials/sales. read more

This is the worst pharmacy. I've had to deal with them for years and atleast 9/12 months they screw up all medications. Their pharmacists are rude and unhelpful. They do not know what they are doing. Half the time they will say contradicting things that their coworkers say the opposite the next day. Even my Dr. can not stand dealing with their incompetent pharmacists. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. If there was a way to give 0 stars I would. read more

I went in to get a Strep test done as my throat as been swollen and my symptoms have been showing the possibility of either Strep or tonsillitis as I have had both in the past. However, I was humiliated when they told me to wait in my car based on a virtual assessment, that doesn't even show up in my records, from the 17th that said I was positive for COVID yet, never once have I been tested for Covid, so there is no proof and all I did through the site the assessment was from was sign up for MyChart through the area clinic so I could schedule a PCR Covid test for August because I need one done 72 hours before my international flight. It was humiliating and I was hurt and left feeling like everything I had worked hard to achieve was crashing down. I honestly will probably not use this Minute Clinic at this CVS or any CVS ever again. I am greatly disappointed. read more

Pharmacy techs are not helpful when asking question. Not friendly. I will take my business somewhere else

The minute clinic here is horrible. The np does not listen to patients, nor does she prescribe the necessary medication even though she has seen the same thing in the same patent before. Don't waste your time, go see a real doctor. read more

It's somewhat convenient; but overall, I've been to better pharmacies with easier parking and cleaner stores.

Taking off another star for the annoying phone calls we continue to get from this CVS Pharmacy location. Nothing to do with the Minute Clinic. If the score was just for the pharmacy, I would give this location 2 stars. read more

The Minute Clinic is awful. My son had bleeding and swollen gum tissue. We couldn't get in with his dentist. Our provider, Gina Farinacci-Nugent, said they don't see patients his age for dental related issues. She said we wouldn't be charged for the visit. Well, I just received a bill and was unsuccessful at contesting it. A completely waste of time and money. read more

The minute clinic is absolutely worthless. Rather than opening at 10am, that is just when the employee walks through the door. She didn't even turn on the check-in kiosk until 10:10am. First patient was seen at 10:25. WTF CVS, get your act together. read more

The service is very slow, very unfriendly and the pharmacist says he will follow up on a prescription request and does not leaving you hanging at the last minute. If I could, I would give CVS Westlake, OH by Bradley Road a zero rating. I will not be back. read more

Worst customer service ever. This locations pharmacy made me stop using CVS across the board. I switched to Giant Eagle. I wish I could say it was one bad experience but it was multiple. The latest one...I got an audit letter from an old insurance saying CVS billed them for a prescription. Now CVS wont bill the correct one so I am going to have to pay for this out of pocket? Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Not accommodating at all. Moved here from out of state and took 40 minutes to prepare my prescription after my doctor called it in while I was standing here. Went to the Minute Clinic on Thursday after 3 days of a severe sore throat. They did a strep test which came back negative on the initial test. They said they would send the sample out for the 100% accurate lab test because they've been getting a lot of strep cases lately. It is now 5:30 on Saturday and I still haven't received a call with my lab results. I've tried calling for 2 days and keep getting connected to a customer service rep who sounds like she's from India and just keeps repeating that they will call tomorrow. I will now have to go see my regular doctor and pay twice for the same test. This place is a joke. read more

The pharmacy gave me the wrong prescription!!!! Do you know how serious that could have been? When I went to take it back the tech was questioning it. And when he went to the pharmacist I just heard him say it happens. I was very upset and kept saying this is not ok. The pharmacist didn't even have the decency to come over and talk to me. I understand accidents happen, it was how it was handled that really upset me. read more

Got there before 5 minutes before Minute Clinic was to open. Was 4th in line. After waiting an hour, we gave up and went to an urgent care where we were seen within 10 minutes. This happens every time we have tried to use them. Nothing minute about this clinic. They spend more time collecting insurance information than patient care. Why when they know that most physician offices are closed on Sunday and they will be slammed as soon as they open, they do not staff another nurse, or at least have a clerk take insurance information so the wait is less. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Go to the Cleveland Clinic Urgent Care instead! My daughter was misdiagnosed for a UTI and ended up in the hospital for two days with a double kidney infection. I went back for myself for a quick strep test. My tonsils are covered in puss, headache, stomachache etc... the quick test & overnight lab test came back negative. When I called asking for a basic prescription of something due to the length of time of my symptoms (6 days) she said no. I explained I've never felt this way for so long, it must be a sinus infection, she said they wait 8 days before prescribing an antibiotic. I went to the Urgent Care not even 24hours later from the 1st test and the test was positive. I don't think Erin, the nurse for both me & my daughter knows what shes doing! CVS should be ashamed of themselves! I don't think they even sent out the tests! How is it that two people in my family were misdiagnosed in a one month period, except for unqualified employees!? read more
