I thought I would give Ulta a try even though there were a lot of mixed reviews floating around the internet. Bottom line: I'm SO glad that I went! Everyone was amazingly nice and polite. They even offered me a water while I was waiting. After my hair was cut, they even straightened it for me! I'm over the moon with my hair too. The final color looked nothing like the samples we were shown or what we had discussed. She only washed the section of hair that had been colored rather than washing all of her hair, and after rinsing the color, she didn't even dry my daughter's hair before we left. Most importantly, nearly all of the color had washed out by the first wash after being told that it would last for approximately three months. I understand that fashion colors can fade faster than traditional hair color, but having almost the entire color disappear after the first wash is completely unacceptable! One month before my surgery, I was contacted and told the quote changed to $7,000. The quote was only good for 90 days. Although the quote did not state it was only good for 90 days, nor was I told verbally of this.The prices did not go up. This $2,200 increase was due to the doctor doubling the amount of time to do the procedure and reclassifying it from a minor procedure to a major procedure. There was not any changes from 5/14/25 to March 2026 that took place for this reclassification. I was told that the lady who gave me the quote was no longer employed there. This does not have any bearing because the doctor was the one who gave her the info to quote this procedure. No matter what the reasoning for this change, they should stand by what they originally quoted me . I saved up the money to have this procedure. I did not save the extra $2,200. I cancelled this procedure after waiting for months, scheduling the time off at my work, and having a friend schedule time off to help me. I am heartbroken that I had to cancel this procedure. I am very disgusted with the lack of respect, professionalism, and poor character of Joseph Khouri and the staff.

He offered (charged for it) to do laser treatments. The laser treatments made the scaring worse. It scarred the tissue and surrounding skin. Everything he has done made it worse. He's a nightmare. Even though there were only three staff members they even helped us look for certain scents that we were looking for - even offering assistance to find them. I was in and out of the store within 10 minutes and back to my car and got more than I had originally planned on thanks to a coupon! I love this location and will continue to go here.
